Agradable, cómodo y limpio.
Muy bien. Muy contento con la recepción. Llamé por teléfono porque llegaba tarde y me atendieron muy amablemente en español. En la habitación hay una cocina con nevera y tiene todo lo necesario. La cama es grande y muy cómoda. Está todo muy limpio. No sé si es por la habitación o porque la gente es civilizada, no se oye ningún ruido. Hay un local para guardar bicicletas y no hay problemas de aparcamiento. La ubicación es perfecta. Está cerca del centro pero a la vez, alejado del ruido.

Aging beauty, but clean, comfortable and friendly
This is a lovely property in the "Ville d'Hiver" part of Arcachon. It is about a 12min walk to the city center, but it is a lovely walk thru a park or viewing gorgeous architecture. The building is a bit of a fading beauty, however, the place and rooms are very clean if dated. Comfortable beds, large rooms, quiet area. I've stayed twice and would do so again.

Lovely hotel in gorgeous place.
Bed really comfy and good facilities except for shower where attachment to wall was broken. Good location and love Arcachon. Pool area nice and hotel was really quiet and peaceful.

CARE HOME TRAINING
The location is the biggest asset - lovely quiet area and a short work into the centre of Arcachon. However, the decor of the villa is depressing and old fashioned, the apartment needs updating, no air conditioning. No availability of clean towels and did not see a cleaner for five days. Pool area only open from 10am to 7pm and (2pm - 7pm on a Saturday), seems villa is run for the staff rather than the guests. Poor value for money :(((

Villa Regina was an ideal self-catering base to enjoy Arcachon. Wonderful setting in the winter town and close to the park, which we enjoyed walking through several times each day. The room was quiet and a good size for a couple. Staff helpful when we needed them. Sufficient parking either in the grounds our close by. Charming old building in need of some updating and maintenance. Would visit again.

Quiet. Lovely area of Arcachon. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Pretty walk to town centre and beach. Problem when the lift in the park wasn't working. Steep hill to climb back. Could have done with air conditioning during hot days.

The price is low but the room and service is quite good. Also it is convenient that small kitchen exists. We have traveled for 10 days and have been bored to eat outside. Buying materials, cook here and eat with wine gave us a happy time. Our original plan was to stay here for one night, but we plan to stay the third night tomorrow.

Disappointing stay at Villa Regina Arcachon
We have travelled to Arcachon area many times, previously staying in the Residhome Arcachon Plazza. On this occasion we thought we would try somewhere new and stayed at Résidence Vacances Bleues Villa Regina. This former hotel that first opened in the late 1800's is a beautiful building, a short walk to the Park Mauresque from where you can be on the sea front at Archachon within about 15 mins walk. The residence is clean and has been freshly decorated and new carpets. The bed was large and comfy, there was a kitchenette and a dining table with 4 chairs, but there were no comfortable chairs on which to relax. We were on the ground floor, the room was boiling hot, there is no air conditioning and not even a room fan. This made our stay uncomfortable. Further, the room was noisy - with noise from adjacent rooms but worse was the noise from the room above where you could easily hear people walking around. It's a shame that during the renovations there was no consideration to sound proofing or to modern comforts. The grounds were unattended to - with weeds everywhere and long grass, cigarette butts everywhere and the pool did not seem very clean. Such a shame, I am sure that in it's hay-day this really must have been such a grand hotel.
