Our country house, 'CASA ALMENDRO' is a stylish and comfortable renovated, historic country house, furnished with antique style furniture and fully equipped. The covered terraces are to that, from the outside not
arranged viewable garden. The villa includes 3 adjoining units, Almendro 1 + 2 + 3 the units 1 + 2 have 2 bedrooms each for 4 or 5 people, the unit 3 has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, is prepared for 6 people. With simultaneous rental of all 3 units, the CASA ALMENDRO can comfortably accommodate 15 people, extra beds are possible. The garden is lushly planted with tropical vegetation, so you can relax in the shade of apple, banana, date, fig, kaki, orange, lemon, almond trees the 'Almendros' on the edge of the pool. The romantic country house is equipped with everything you need to prepare culinary delights. To a spicy dish from Charcoal Grill or a Pata Negra, the exquisite Spanish ham, you can
Organic cheeses from local farmers are available and the excellent wines enjoy fruit juices and freshly harvested local fruits on the shaded terrace. Of course, you can get your breakfast eggs from free-range chickens of our adjacent fincas, or prepare paella and pastries in the well-equipped kitchen.

Lovely property and gardens but car essential.
Unfortunately we had to leave a few days early due to the corona virus shut down. However the owners were very helpful and the property was exactly as we expected.

The property itself was beautiful and in a great location. It was extremely well equipped with everything you need for your stay and more!! Dinner on the terrace by candlelight in the evenings watching the sun set made it truly romantic for us. The garden was a real sun trap and the pool refreshing to say the least! The owners are so friendly and amenable. Nothing was too much trouble and they are always there to help if you need them. Thank you for such a wonderful stay..... we will definitely come back.

Tolles Ferienhaus mit schönem Außenbereich
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Luisa und Rayco sind tolle Gastgeber und haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Sie stehen bei Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung sehr wohlgefühlt. Besonders genossen haben wir das Frühstücken auf der Terrasse bei Sonnenschein. Die Unterkunft ist bestens ausgestattet :)

Sehr ruhige Lage in Bergdorf Arico. Die Vermieterin hat uns am Anreisetag mit heimischen Obst und einer selbstgerechten Paella verwöhnt. Den schönen Garten teilt man sich mit der Nachbarwohnung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in einem ruhigen Dörfchen am Hang des Teide, tolle Vermieter!
Ruhiges Spanisches Dorf mit gutem spanischen Restaurant, Bäcker, Apotheke, Bäcker, Fleischer, Mini Supermärkte und medizinische Versorgung! Auto ist notwendig, aber das ist es sowieso, wenn Teneriffa entdecken möchte. Wenig touristisch und sehr entspannt, wer also gerne auf sonst üblichen Trubel verzichten möchte ist hier gut aufgehoben. Ebenfalls, wer den klassischen Touristen aus großen Hotelanlagen aus dem Weg gehen möchte! Der Pool ist nicht beheizt, zur Erfrischung an heißen Tagen, genau das richtige. Waren zur Elternzeit 4 Wochen da und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Zwei Hochstühle und zwei Babybetten waren vor Ort da :-) Wir waren 3 Wochen ganz alleine, die anderen Wohnungen waren nicht belegt. Haus und Gartfn sind gut gepflegt, der Hausmeister und die Putzfrau sind regelmäßig da. Luisa und Rayko helfen gerne weiter sei es bei der Übersetzung beim Arzt oder bei fragen zum Einkaufen oder welche Orte man besuchen sollte. Luisa hat uns einen Tag mitgenommen nach Icod, sind eine schöne Strecke gefahren. Die Paella bei Luisa mit typischer Musik und Gesang von Einheimischen war toll und erlebt man so nicht überall. Das Wetter war im Oktober perfekt um noch einmal richtig Sommer zu erleben bei bis zu 35 Grad sind wir ordentlich ins schwitzen gekommen. Die Mandeln waren reif und die Granatäpfel. Es sind nur 6 km den Hang runter nach Poris de Abona zum Sandstrand und einem niedlichen Café. Bis zum loro Parque 45-60 min ist auch ok, ist dann halt ein Tages Trip. 20-30 min vom Flughafen Süd entfernt. Gerne wieder!!!!!

Fantastische plek, met smaak ingericht, heerlijk terras en tuin met uitzicht over de oceaan.
Heerlijke 3 weken gehad in almendro. De woning is zeer compleet, wifi werkte vlekkeloos. Het dorp biedt alle basics op loopafstand en Arico is een goede uitvalsplek om het eiland te verkennen. Tenerife heeft Prachtige stranden en baaien en het El Teide park is een ervaring die je meegemaakt moet hebben in je leven. Huurauto is niet duur (netals benzine 0,90 ct/l). Uit eten (heerlijke tapas) met 2 kinderen minder dan 50 euro (ook in Arico op loopafstand). De paëlla avonden bij Louisa zijn onvergetelijk, echte spaanse, gemoedelijke sfeer. Ook de kinderen hebben zich al die tijd prima kunnen vermaken, al dan niet op een mooi strand of het eigen zwembad. Nog een paar tips: bootje huren bij Los Gigantes en in een baai gaan zwemmen. Playa Bollulo voor fantastische branding en uiteraard het waanzinnige, rauwe, vulkaanlandschap van het Park El Teide (voor de kabelbaan vroeg komen of dag van te voren tijd reserveren via internet). Vanaf 3700 m heb je rondom een fantastisch uitzicht. Alles goed bereikbaar met de auto en je rijdt hier nooit 'om', want elke rit is een genot. Maar ook de woning met zijn tuin (+zwembad) met palmen en ligstoelen is zo gerieflijk dat je nauwelijks weg wil. (Nb. Alles zeer schoon, overcomplete keukeninventaris, strandhandoeken, parasolletje, strandmatjes, paar lekkere flesjes wijn uit de eigen wijngaard). Ook de andere appartementen waar vrienden van ons zaten waren pico bello met ieder weer zijn eigen charme. Samenvattend; uitstekende prijs kwaliteit verhouding. De meerkosten van de reis en auto heb je hier snel terugverdiend. En als je ergens niet uitkomt is er altijd nog Louisa (spreekt goed Nederlands) die te hulp schiet. Gewoon een keer doen; je krijgt er zeker geen spijt van.
