Nice rooms and great location
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very central and walking distance to everything, but also quiet. Good rooms and amenities. Rooftop pool, billiard table and small gym.

The hotel was very nice and well attended. The breakfast was included, I would have paid for the quality. The room was spacious. The employees a 10. The hotel Guaraní is the complete opposite except for the employees. We were robbed in th hotel Guaraní and to this moment nothing’s no has been resolved. Asuncion, Paraguay for being a tourist destination is disgraceful. Las Margaritas hotel has my future destiny. hotel Guaraní stinkks with cigarette smoke in the lobby., una por porqueria, Barry Jay...

We have stayed at this property in tha past and consider this smaller, older hotel as one of the highlights of our stay. It's right in the middle of downtown Ascension with a pool, sauna, exercise room and a roof top patio to enjoy the city views. All amenities are very nice clean an well kept. The rooms are clean and spacious and feel very homey. It has a wonderful restaurant with attentive staff and great food. Water is safe to drink for us foreigners...lol. In an area surrounded by very modern hotels this one feels quaint and very spanish. We love this place because it is NOT your run-of-the-mill hotel. With its friendly staff and colourful decor we look forward to many more stays in the future.

Asuncion Hotel Margaritas
First time in Asuncion and this hotel was very well situated in the city center, close to my customer's offices. Also very close to many businesses, government offices, restaurants and shopping.

Wonderful hotel in downtown Asuncion, Paraguay
What a sweet surprise! From the crafted doors and room cabinetry to the hand carved sculptures on display in a lighted unit and hand painted wall scenery in the lobby, this treasure of a hotel needs to be experienced in order to be appreciated. The restaurant facility is exquisite with excellent food and service. The staff were helpful and pleasant throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Very old dated hotel, location ok for the center
Old dated and low maintained hotel. Compared with Granados (just across the road) it's better value for money as they quality is pretty much the same, other then the other offer rather big rooms. Close to a nice eatery - Bolsi - open 24/7 with nice food and snacks in a style not so common these days...

3-4 star room by North American standards
This hotel should probably be rated higher on tripadvisor. The room was amazing. Huge, living room. Modern washroom. Wifi was strong. Front desk has an English speaker during business hours. At night, and evenings, limited English, but nothing that Google translate and some charades couldn't handle. Only downside - tours offered by hotel were WAY too expensive. I got a much cheaper rate by phoning some agencies. I phone VIP tours in Asuncion - good English speaker, joined a group tour for a much better rate (33% of if I went with the hotel recommended tour). Overall, excellent experience here, excellent location in centre of downtown, great staff.

Clean, quiet hotel in great central city location
Hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the historic central city area of Asunción. Many, many shops, restaurants, fast food outlets, historic buildings are nearby. I expected room to be noisy due to heavy doentown traffic, but it was very quiet. I was there on Christmas and staff provided me an individual cake dessert to celebrate. Even though reception staff did not speak English, I was just fine with my meage Spanish -- staff made every atte,pt to understand and help me, including providing a map for me to explore the city.

Besides being close to a couple of restaurants it is displeasing. At night if you wish to go out, the hotel staff are usually asleep in the lobby with the doors locked, so leaving for a night walk is pretty much out of the question

Nice central hotel
Well located, easy walking distance from the sights of central Asuncion. Includes good buffet breakfast, plenty of fruit and choice of eggs and continental breakfast. Rooms stylish and comfortable. Can arrange airport transfers and transport to other towns on request, e.g. transfer to Encarnacion for $350 (for car plus driver).

For Asuncion, this is a very nice hotel. I had hot water half the time, which is to be expected in Paraguay. The room was clean and the staff were nice. But, one complaint, they charged me 80,000 Guaranies (about $20) because a friend visited my room for a couple hours - a bit ridiculous. Also, they charge for car parking, even though it's advertised as free, and they charge for every telephone call (local calls).

Lovely hotel with great rooftop pool
I found everything to be great about the Hotel Las Margaritas. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well air-conditioned. The rooftop pool was great with fantastic views over the city. Breakfast was adequate but not exceptional. Wifi was strong and fast except for a couple of hours one morning. The only negative was that I was charged US$4 for dropping a glass on the hard floor, causing it to break.

The junior suite is an affordable luxury
I rented a small suite. I found it extremely confortable and pretty. The price was very convenient. I have my doubts about the locacion, the city center might not be liked by everybody.

Very friendly staff
Paraguay gets VERY FEW tourists, so that is important to note. Very few people speak English. This hotel had a few staff people who spoke a little and it was fine. The hotel is lovely with a restaurant. The room was nice. We did have an issue with the lock breaking on the bathroom door and the AC not working, but they fixed both.

This hotel is very centrally located in proximity of everything. The staff are very helpful. The rooms are extremely clean. The breakfast delicious.I'm very picky about clenliness and so was very satistifed. The pool and area has a beautiful view and is very relaxing. I loved this hotel and the city. Will surely return.
