Splurged for an extra day!

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Everything! Super top-notch and a wonderful price! This is *the* place for us to stay in Atlanta from now on!
Cons: Only thing- a guide to the TV channels. But it's ok- the husband enjoyed playing with the remote control.
Location: Easy access off I-85. Range of restaurants in driving/walking distance- fast food/ pubs/ upscale- close to attractions.
In town for filming, first time staying here. Great rate and wonderful accommodations- room was exceptionally clean, cookies on arrival, outstanding full free breakfast, clean well maintained indoor pool and hot tub. Especially impressed with the hotel staff- everyone from the day and night reception folks, the breakfast hostess, the maids- all friendly and helpful. Hotel is non-smoking which is great for me- we were able to get a room on the ground floor next to an exit so the husband could smoke outside- great for him! Steady wifi (and good 'business area' with computers and printers if you didn't bring your own)- could not ask for more! Close to airport- surprisingly quiet- free shuttle for those who need it. We extended our stay by a day just to relax and enjoy- a great way to end the summer!

I stayed there just to sleep and catch a flight at the airport the next day. Kids running in the hall right outside of my room. The walls are so thin that I could hear people walking around and flushing toilets in adjacent rooms. I didn't bother to complain, because I can sleep through anything. But if you're a light sleeper, this won't work for you.

2 night stay, 4/5 overall. August 4-6, 2014

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Hotel room upon arrival was clean. Hotel lobby was clean, Indoor pool area was nice.
Cons: Have a sense of urgency and sympathize when there is an issue with the room.
Location: Never being in the area before we asked for a good dinner spot from the front desk. I wouldn't recommend Malone's, not many food choices and pricey.
Traveling from Florida. It was close to the Amphitheater and about 15 minutes from the downtown Atlanta. I was pleased with the location because it wasn't on a busy road. Check-in was a breeze, and the front desk lady was really nice. The first night everything was fine, room was quiet. There was an extra pillow and blanket that was nice. The next morning there was a knock on the door from housekeeping about 830am, (we forgot do not disturb) and told the housekeeping lady to give us 30 minutes then we will be gone for most of the afternoon. We then noticed that our hotel door did not close. You could easily push it open with your finger. I went to the front desk (new lady) and she was very rude (blank stare-do you want me to look at it?) when i told her. Maintenance guy didn't get in til noon and that made me uneasy because we were leaving for the day. Front desk lady came up to the room and by that time we figured out the lock was off by a little bit and the door would lock if you lifted up on it. We got back to the room around 1pm and the room was not cleaned. I was a little upset, thought the room was supposed to be cleaned. I would've been happy if the trash was taken out. Maintenance guy showed up about 4pm to fix door, was very courteous. Felt good about leaving electronics in the room. Breakfast had a lot of choices and was hot and good. Checkout was a breeze because I prepaid.

I was looking for a highly rated, reasonably priced, place to stay and this place fit the criteria. The room was very nice and clean. Bed, comfortable. Very quiet. Airport shuttle on time. Would recommend to family.

We never stay at a country inn again

Posted Jun 28, 2014
As a family of 5 we need more pillows. When we asked for more it was like we where asking for the room for free. The staff was rude and the indoor pool was to cold to even swim in. We will never go back
