Came to this hotel to celebrate my anniversary. The staff did not welcome my husband and I in a professional way. The room and buildings were not nice at all. I don’t recommend this hotel.

The staff were not welcoming at all , they did not apologize for any inconvenience .my room key didn’t work I had to go all the way back down to the front desk to let them know , they just reactivated key but never apologized .. They do not say please or thank you , their attitudes were poor . I originally booked a double bed suite . They only had one queen size bed in my room , they never mentioned that to me upon paying for my room . When I went back to the front desk to ask about it they said that’s all they have …. I think they should have let me know before paying maybe I could’ve went to another hotel . Also they told me that they couldn’t give me a roll out bed or an extra blanket for my guest so we are all crammed into one queen size bed and very uncomfortable . I wouldn’t recommend

sorry for your inconvenience. The beds are the standard size for the double rooms. Due to safety hazards, we do not carry roll away beds. And yes, you should have received extra blankets if asked. I will ensure management have conversation with staff concerning correct information.

No hot water and no offer to make the experience any better! I know it’s not their fault but they have offered to do nothing to improve upon the experience. Also, selected this hotel for the pool and while now there is notice on website that it opens May 1st, there was no notification until arrival that they have yet to open it for the year.

Staff was great, and overall it was a very clean hotel but the pool looked like a swamp, the hotel ran out of soap (thankfully staff went above and beyond by running to the store to get some), the iron didn't work in my room, the sink was spraying water everywhere and there were no towels in the gym (but staff did track some down as well). Don't usually write a response but those were some glaring issues that popped up during my stay.

There is only one employee in the hotel at night. If you need anything you have to go to the reception and pick it up yourself. My room didn’t have hand soap and shower gel.

The Elevators were in terrible repair. Elevator 2 rumbled and was full of Ghosts of Former guests. The other Elevator one would take you to the 7th floor and leave you to walk down the stairs to the 4th floor . Upon entrance to the elevator on the 4th floor as you set it go to the lower floors it would travel to the 5th floor before taking you to the ground floor.

First 15 mins in my room the alarm system goes off for 45 mins. (Someone stated that they were testing it) but I believe they should have announced first that they were going to do a false alarm fire drill instead of after the fact. Second, I’m approached by the front desk assistant, who had mentioned that they had a key lockdown, so she(he) had to reactivate the key. Later finding out that the first Rep didn’t assigned my key to the correct reservation. Stayed at the front desk for about 30-45 mins trying to figure out what happened. Honestly worst experience. They have people working that have no type of common sense and lack professionalism.

The staff was not super helpful. The elevator was very slow and unstable. The lobby had a party happening one night and was very loud so not usable by other guests. The hot water didn't last long in the shower. The area did not have many restaurant options. It was very convenient to the airport

We called twice for someone to look at commode because it wasn’t flushing properly. No one ever showed up. Also charged me 20.00 at check out for parking!! I wasn’t aware of a parking fee.

From the outside of the property, it looked clean and well-maintained. However, the elevator on the property didn't work well. It wasn't working properly. If I tried to go to the main floor from my fourth floor, it would take me to the fifth and then to the main floor. Only one elevator was working. There was an updated inspection card for the elevator however, it conflicted with the issues I was having with the elevator as well as other guests. Lastly, no one cleaned our rooms during our entire stay. No housekeeping until the last day. We asked for housekeeping but we were denied. They just gave us the sheets and left the room. I did not enjoy my stay here and I wish it was better.

Our first room had water on the bathroom floor that looked like it was coming from the back of the toilet and formes a puddle. The front desk could not get an "engineer" there do we were moved. The second room had lady bugs and NO hot water for our showers.

We ran the water in sink for more than 5 minutes and the water still did not get hot. So we ran the water in the shower thinking it would get hot. It still did not. There was only 1 trash can and it was in the bathroom. Refrigerator was not as cold as we would have liked.

This is my worst experience for a Double Tree ever and these are my favorite chains of hotels. The elevator was so janky that it almost closed on us several times during our trips. The bathroom had grime on the floor and walls and the shower head has need of replacing. The water did not get over a specific heat and so the showers were close to cold. I expected far better living arrangements considering Atlanta is one of the largest traveled through airports in the country so why not have the best accommodations. I’ll never stay here again. I GUESS at least the staff seemed nice.

The front desk staff were very nice, helpful, and courteous. However, the property is not well maintained. The bathroom cabinet loked antique and unkept. The one elevator that worked looked dirty; an empty beer bottle and a wripped menu were left in the elevator for half a day. The hotel entrance is very univiting. I have stayed in several double trees, this particular one dishonor them all.
