Convenient and spacious accommodations in an apartment building. Good for people who aren't looking for typical hotel amenities (like a front desk or concierge) because there aren't any, but for space and location, we thought it was well worth it.

The beds were extremely comfortable. But you could hear every single thing on the street even 13 floors up. There is no service because its not a hotel its an apartment. If you are looking for a hotel experience I would avoid this place. its great if you need extra space, kitchen and washer & dryer.

Expectations were not set by Hotels.com
Hotels.com doesn’t show you it’s a 3rd party service so when I booked an hour before arriving there wasn’t enough time to get all the info sent to the 3-4 different parties involved. Though I did get a confirmation that it was good to go. Then all the check in instructions went to someone else’s phone and from there it was a nightmare with phone calls and such. If I were in a hurry I would have been in trouble. Check in took almost an hour to get me to the room. Inside the “apartment” it was not too bad but it was not built like a hotel so there was a lot of abuse to the fixtures and furnishings that you done see at a regular establishment. There was also black mold around the tub/shower which isn’t healthy. I would not go back.

I came to Austin for several reasons, all of which were available and walkable from Kasa. There was actually minimal contact with the staff, but I didn't need to see them more often so that worked out great. I'll stay there again if it's available.

Loved this property. Nice vibe modern. Stayed on 8th flr w view of pool. Onlg thing needed was more towels. We used pool everyday and had to was towels everyday bc only 5 towels for 3ppl amd mo one wants to do laundry on vacation lol. Other than that 5 it was great. Will definitely use Kasa again!

It was clean. Check-in instructions not so accurate. Locked out of bldg because of instructions during rain storm. Parking in this area is miserable and super expensive (up to $50 per day), unit doesn't come with a parking spot. Up to 4 can sleep there, but there were no linens for the sofa bed, so no way to use it. Not even enough towels for 2 people. Ice machine in fridge did not work, nor did the water feature in fridge.

I was in the studio suite, overall it was a disappointing experience. The room I ended up with was on the first floor, and probably an ex demo unit in the apartment complex. It was next to the loading bay, the stairwell entrance, and right on the street so people were walking right next to the floor to ceiling windows so you couldn't even have the blinds open. The apartment needs some maintenance and updates. The bathroom door didn't shut, the stools are missing screws, and the desk chair for the mini desk doesn't even raise high enough to use the desk area. I think if you get another unit your experience might be much better, but you'd be better off staying in one of the nearby hotels instead of this one

Do not book from an aggregator of an aggregator
You've been warned, the stay you are booking is through hotel.com then kasa living then the actual apartment. So the level of support is limited. I was given a ground floor unit B, which I later found out it was the worst uint you can get.(don't be tricked by the 8+ rating, you could be the unlucky 20%.) The room is ok, but it is next to the street, you can hear everything on the street including pedestrian walking by and homeless people ranting all night. It is also next to the staircase, so there are constant noises from the corridor. I only booked for two nights, and found out the door fob doesn't work. I went to the concierge for help, but they asked me to get in touch with Kasa instead. I didn't bother to do that since I won't be needing it the next day. One more thing, this is an apartment, so room service is not available.

This place is only 2 "hotel" rooms in a high rise condo - on the 1st floor and can't open window shades because people walking by day & night. The lighting was diverse, some lights were out. It felt like being a cave or a hole. The location is great, right in nice downtown area. Very Disappointed. Hated coming back to my room. Very Expensive for just a place to sleep. Not inviting or comfortable. Images on website were Very misleading. Stay somewhere else if you want a view of the city & not have strangers 'viewing' you!

I would stay again, very comfortable and convenient and good value. Kasa Lady Bird is a somewhat confusing brand as they effectively lease units in the The Whitley Apartments where many residents also live. It would be helpful if they were more clear about that and the process to get in the front door the first time which seems to have changed. Once inside it is a very nice higher end residence that is very comfortable and with good amenities undergoing some renovations but not a big deal. Nice folks at the front desk happy to help you find your place. We stayed in a studio tucked away in a corner at street level which was fine and good value but some folks might not like the view. You receive your code for the door at 3:30 PM. Inside is a key fob that you use to gain entry to the building and to use the elevator, pool, etc.. Only TV option seemed to be streaming services requiring your own login. My biggest issue was confusion on parking. Google search results actually show Free Parking, booking on Expedia suggested there is no parking available and then the Kasa communications reveal there is a parking garage around the corner but with very unclear info on cost. Eventually figured out that you don't get in/out privileges which I found ridiculous as you can easily rack up very high costs. Ended up using SpotHero to book space directly across the street at 301 Congress but also not cheap.

We were put on the ground floor in Suite B, which was odd. We know the windows are one way, but it's still disconcerting having people hang out outside your window. Also the room has noisemakers to block the street noise. Not ideal. Not great if you plant os pend lots of time in the room. Otherwise, a great home base for downtown Austin. Maybe if you get an upstairs unit it would be beyond awesome!

VERY LOUD-if you get the ground level unit
The location was great, the room itself was nothing like the pictures, we were in the King room, like a hotel style, rather than multiple beds/bath. It was on the ground floor where the lobby for this apartment complex is. The noise was unbearable. The lobby noise was not bad except everytime someone used the stair doors the whole hallway shook and echoed. I slept with earplugs and the street noise woke me up several times each night. It is a street level unit, the windows are thin, you could hear people just having a normal conversation outside, not even yelling, then when a loud car went by it was like it was right in the room with you. This unit on the ground level should not be rented. I am sure the rest of the units are fine, and again, super convenient location. I would add that two of our vents were filthy, one was above the bed, just all kinds of gross stuff hanging out of it. I took photos. The walls in the unit also had serious paint damage, which does not impact our stay, but perhaps a sign they don't service or pay much attention to this unit.

Room was beautiful and stocked, very clean. Building was loud with a fire alarm panel beeping all night outside the room, on site parking was cumbersome and I was given the wrong instructions to enter. Diffuser in room is empty and room smelled odd upon arrival. Great area of town but we were on street level so no view and street noise was loud. Thank you for the noise machines to help drown out.

The ground floor unit (room B) was extremely loud. It had 3 floor to ceiling windows facing the street. It was impossible to get a good night's sleep. Since there are no Kasa representatives on site there's no way to get a different room. We'll never use them again.

Room was next to construction, wasn’t granted a LRB early checkin or a late checkout. The only place to store my luggage while I waited hours for my room was off-property blocks away from the site. I had to call to request hangers. The reason for no early checkin was for cleaning but the room wasn’t very clean. Hair on the bed and in the shower and the floors were dirty. There we no instructions for the TV.

Our Kasa
We loved our stay at Kasa. It was clean, plenty of room, and a great view of downtown Austin. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful.

Worth staying
This was a nice stay, clean, simply furnished unit with a large bathtub comfortable bed and sofabed, and all the things needed for a comfortable stay including for me to cook. The staff were professional and friendly, the lobby also had a coffee/tea/seltzer water machine which was nice to have.

Great location as I had a convention across the street. Excellent places very close to tjis facility. Pool was very relaxing as well. I am not sure every apt is the same but mine had a Murphy Bed that basically was on the ground. At 63 yrs old it was difficult to get into and out of but was very comfortable to sleep on once in it. Also bathtub is higher then normal again at 63 that was a challenge.but a great shower once your in it. My sink drained very slow and never got fixed the 4 days i was there. Even with those concerns i had a very good stay. Next time I would research if all apts are the same. Lastly construction across street. No problem for me but I read where that concerns some people. Hey Austin is a fast growing town..construction is occuring all over the city.
