Staff was very polite, attentive , professional and always with a very nice attitude. Excellent service. Food was really good ! Breakfast has a lot of selections and our dinner was plenty and really good. We were pleasantly surprised for the quality of the food. Highly recommended!

Rooms are dated with only basic toiletries but no other amenities. Received a ‘cold’ welcome at the reception. The lady who checked us in gave me the room key, left the registration form for me to fill and then disappeared. No information given about the serving time of the breakfast the next morning. Limited selection at the breakfast buffet. Disappointed.

Wonderful 2-night stay at this nice hotel in Axams. Rooms appeared recently renovated which enhanced the experience. Very friendly staff who helped us out with a couple of small problems with no question. Included breakfast was very good. Located directly opposite bus stop that goes to Innsbruck and Welcome Card allowed free use of all public transport in the region. Also allowed free use of the nearby Freizeitzentrum which is a wonderful facility in the town.

The hotel is located in a small charming town 15 min from downtown Innsbruck. Big cozy room with a balcony overlooking the mountains- almost fairytale view! Very friendly hosts, good breakfast. Parking near the building is complementary (spaces are limited, but you can also find free street parking nearby). The only complaint was a lot of flies, they were annoying both in the room and in the restaurant. We would definitely return and recommend!

On route to Italy with the family
Family trip on route to Italy. Good room with 2 big beds sleeping 2 adults and 2 kids. Not much else room, but not needed. Traveling through on a Sunday. The restaurant was closed. A shame but good food within short drive. Not huge breakfast, but enough. Overall happy with the booking. Nice surroundings.

Very convenient location for ski bus to Axamer Lizum - mins walk away. Do have ski storage. Breakfast was excellent. Very kind and welcoming hosts.

Used for an overnight stop before driving to Italy
It was easy to find the hotel. The room we had was excellent. We had a good evening meal in the restaurant and a good breakfast. Parking the car there was OK. There was an easy walk into the local town which was very interesting to walk round. If you do that make sure to look into the church.

I would stay again
Quiet neighborhood things close fairly early around 9:00 PM. Great hillside hotel. Food was excellent and so was the service. Room was clean. This hotel has a great atmosphere in the restaurant and bar area.

Friendly hotel close to skiresort
We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights at the end of December and enjoyed our stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was cleaned every day and the location is great as well. The free shuttle bus to the ski resort Axamer Lizum departs every 30 min just outside the hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the Austrian cuisine was great too. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

This was a last minute reservation for the Innsbruck Interalpin mountain infrastructure trade show. Very comfortable room, good breakfast, nice view and very peaceful site with access to local hiking trails in the village and the surrounding area. 50 meters access to the bus station and 15 minutes direct access to Innsbruck main terminal in centre town save some Euros and worth the trip with the very friendly local people.

What a DUMP
This hotel suppossedly has a three (3) star rating - at best I would give it a one (1). Having visited many hotels in my travels over the years my description of this property is "A DUMP". You should review your hotel rating.

Loved it!
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here... The staff was very friendly and apart from there being no shower curtain in the bathroom the rooms were very cozy. Woke up and drank coffee On the balcony overlooking the gorgeous mountains and went for a stroll around the lovely little town. The breakfast buffet was actually better here than some of the other hotels we stayed at on our trip. Also, wifi only works in certain spots around the hotel- mainly just downstairs. Although it wasn't the nicest hotel we stayed in, it is definitely my favorite- and cheaper than the rest!

Hotel Koegele (Axams)
It was an older hotel. No in room air conditioning. It was nice though. Nice balcony. Axams is a quiet area with nice mountain views. Only about 15KM from Innsbruck using the main highway. Door has a key lock but a nice restaurant attached. Staff very friendly and speaks English and German well.

We never actually got to stay
We never actually got to stay at Koegele because when we arrived to check in we were told they had overbooked. The man at the desk made a phone call and got us into a hotel that was very close by. He told me he would pay for the hotel because I had already made a payment by card for Koegele. The hotel he sent us to was nice and we enjoyed the stay. However, when we went to check out the next day I had to pay 102 Euro because the woman who checked us out was not aware of this arrangement. I paid and went back to Koegele to get a refund and they refunded me 70 Euro for the difference of the hotel cost. So 32 Euro came out of pocket that I had to pay without my knowledge. Overall, Austria is beautiful! And I do plan to visit again with friends and family. From what I saw of Koegele it appeared to be very nice.

Although 20 minutes by bus from
Although 20 minutes by bus from old Innsbruck, the bus stops at the door, this place is very simple to access fro the motorway with a car. It is located several hundred metres above the valley of Innsbruck, so the views are very good. The restaurant serves fantastic, traditional meals, very little english spoken but everyone is very friendly.
