The suites are large and newly renovated , the lobby is dated and could use an update . The area in general is not pleasant for families as the hotel is situated adjacent to a shelter so young kids are exposed to some interesting characters , but the feeling is not dangerous overall, but you should be alert. One or two streets the other way you are in a great tourist areas and a stone throw from Rideau mall.

Not sure where parking usually is but it was a bit of an inconvenience, to park in a shopping centre parking lot. But that would not prevent me from staying again.
