Nice property - quiet and walkable, nice pool and massage area, food and drinks were good, room was clean and comfortable. It was a convenient spot to stay and explore Uluwatu, Jimbaran, Kuta and Seminyak.

A Great find!!
Very nice small hotel close to the beach and the local market. Tye beach is really fabulous as it’s clean and not overcrowded!! Many great grilled fish restaurants in the beach.. but the hotel offers lovely cuisine as well. The owner, Josse, and his staff were all so kind and accommodating. This is a real find for the $ in this area!!

This is such a great place to stay! Less than a minute walk to a gorgeous beach. The grounds are well cared for and the staff went above and beyond many times. So courteous and kind. A little haven and so close to the airport. They arrange everything for you. I would recommend booking spa services for sure! So affordable and well worth the money.

Perfect place to stay, close to beach (2 minutes walking) and tons of restaurants. Easy to get to from airport, but the best is Open House amenities and it's staff of friendly and courteous people. Super clean through out and great restaurant including the wonderful breakfast. Will definitely book again.

Near the beach.
Unusual set up with room. Comfortable , clean, extras like hats, bags thoughtfully placed. Service by staff very courteous friendly helpful. Breakfast good. Very near jimbaran beach- a ‘wet ‘ market with fresh fruits , veg n meats.. daunting if you have never seen a wet market with freshly prepared meats on sale. V different from the more westernised in the east coast of nusa dua. Depends on what your needs are. But good place to see a different part of bali

Little gem in Jimbaran
So helpful with our last minute booking. Best massage in Bali, quaint room, amazing staff. Beach not suitable during rainy season but hopefully we’ll return again.

Numerous times I choose to return to Open house after my travels and always extend another night or two. This unique, cozy boutique hotel is one of my favorites from the friendly staff, service, food, cafe music and garden ambiance. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. Lap pool to swim and spa treatment a bonus after long travels!

A great pick.
We arrived very late at night but they still picked us up at the airport and happily showed us to our room. After four weeks of traveling in Indonesia, we weren’t sure what it would be like but it was a very pleasant surprise. At first, the room seems very basic but it was actually a very well thought out design. Great room. There was lots of well designed storage space in a lovely room with local touches. Nice bathroom area. There is a lovely restaurant, pool and covered library and massage area outside. Really nice. It’s a very short walk to Jimbaron Beach which is perfect for sunset and has loads of restaurants. Very hand to the airport.

The food and service was wonderful! The beach, just a short walk away with delicious seafood dinners and sunsets. All rooms face the refreshing pool with outdoor private seating/lounging. Easy simplicity, nice comfortable, small size. Super friendly and helpful staff. We will be back. ♥️🙏

Absolutely fabulous!! Friendly staff, nicely decorated rooms with huge balcony overlooking the pool The restaurant was also great. Only about a 2 min walk to the beach when you want to go and check out the sunset

The hotel is only about 50 metres from a beautiful beach which comes alive every evening as the beach side restaurants set out tables on the beach so you can enjoy a drink or meal as you watch the sun go down. We enjoyed a drink there and watched the sunset before dining at the hotel. The food at the hotel was excellent with plenty of local freshly cooked meals. The only slight downside is that you have to be very careful walking around the area as the paths are very uneven/broken and the roads are chaotic with scooters and cars everywhere. This is a common feature of all major towns in Bali.

I really enjoyed my stay. The open house really does appear that way with an open restaurant, overlooking a large pool at the entrance. The staff were very friendly, room clean and amenities good. Breakfast options were a great start to the day. I would certainly stay again

Lovely boutique hotel, offered a nice welcome drink and a fee nibbles, which was a lovely touch. Only downside was that the pool mis-coloured my swimwear, left them with a red/brown colour. We also had a cockroach and a big spider in our room, but the staff were amazing and got rid of them for us.

Small, low key but friendly hotel. We had two rooms on ground floor near pool which where lovely. Food at restaurant is good. A couple of us did the cooking class which was fun. Massages no frills but good. Would give the ‘manicure’ a miss though

Comfortable hotel, near, not on, the beach, also near a busy road so the rooms at the road end of the hotel would be quite noisy. Food was good but fairly expensive. Not allowed to sample the "free afternoon tea" advertised on their website as we had booked through Expedia (!). Lena on reception was very helpful and cheerful. Rooms have bags and hats in them with extortionate price tags on, when you can find the same for sale in cheap tourist arrests outside. Pool is lovely, good size running the length of the frontage. Skip the nearby crowded touristy beach fish restaurants aimed at many coach loads of Chinese tourists who turn up at the same time; head up the coast to the fish market, pick your own and pay cooks £1 to barbecue it for you watching the fishing boats.

Had a great stay here. Across from lovely beach and a very interesting area. The walk to the fish markets is a must do - incredible to see. Buy some fish and the chef at the hotel will cook it for you for a small fee. This hotel is a lovely family run hotel with lovely staff and a spa on-site.

Lovely place with charm and great service. We booked here last minute as decided to come to Jimbaran a day early. The pool is the perfect temperature, best massages we had in Bali (we had one everyday for 10 days), fantastic food and it's 30 seconds from the beach. We didn't love that the bathroom didn't have as much privacy as we would've liked. Wifi wasn't super strong. Also, I think it's close to a mosque as there was the sound of early morning prayers and in the day nearby which was a bit annoying.

I have been in Bali many times, but this time I didn’t plan anything, I just need a break and I booked through Expedia a package and picked this hotel. My stay has been great, I enjoyed every moment, Loved my breakfast, lived my room very comfortable and cleaned with a nice balcony facing the swimming pool and garden. Staff was very kind. Great position close to beach and penisula if you want to go to the multiple surfing spots.

Stayed here on the last two days if our holiday and loved it. Beautiful accommodation. Lovely rooms and patio area just a few steps from the gorgeous pool. A very comfortable stay. We ate in the restaurant too and the food was marvellous. Lovely staff. Would recommend.

Brilliant hotel close to the airport
We were very happy with our 1 night stay at The Open House. We chose to stay here as we arrived late at night and didn't want to travel far. The hotel arranged a driver to pick us up at the airport which was great, considering the chaos when you step out of Denpasar airport! All the hotel staff were lovely and spoke very good English. The rooms overlook the pool but are still very private. It was comfortable with both ceiling fan and air con and all the amenities we needed. The garden and hotel surrounds are lush and well maintained. The food (we had breakfast and lunch, both western and Indonesian options) were all delicious and some of the best food we had during our week in Bali. I had a wonderful massage at the in-hotel spa. If the nearby beach was cleaner, we would've stayed longer.
