Good hotel

Posted Feb 26, 2015
Pros: Good location, reasonable rate and free breakfast.
Cons: Add a bar and lounge with food.
Location: Inner harbor was about 7 miles away with a lot to do.
Close to the Inner Harbor. Breakfast was good and staff was helpful.

Not worth it, book somewhere else!

Posted Feb 17, 2015
I spent $285.00 for a one night stay booking a suite at the Wingate through Hotels.com. The room I ended up getting was a handicap accessible room. This was not indicated in the purchase of the room. There is no transportation via shuttle to the local casino (Maryland Live) about 6 miles away. Had no running hot water in the morning when I took a shower. I would not recommend this Hotel unless all other comparable lodging areas are booked. This is supposed to be a Wyndham property. By far the worse Wyndham experience I have ever had. I'd compare the stay to a Red Roof in. Certainly not what I expected and definitely not worth the $285.00 per night. Looking back a couple of days removed from the experience. The hotel was a joke.

A weekend Stay

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: Good location, walk distance to Bob Evans, clean carpet and rest room.
Cons: Fix the table / desk!
Location: BWI airport nearby
Everything looks normal and fine, room has enough space and beds are comfortable and clean. Breakfast has a few of choices. The desk table in our room can not stand firmly and shakes when we wanted to write, not a good choice for working in room. The WiFi connection is fine.

Lacks the standard quality for Wyndham Hotels

Posted Jan 20, 2015
I was very dissatisfied with my stay overall. The room rate was very comparable, but for the quality. The room was spacious and the bathroom was very clean, but the carpet had an extensive amount of large stains, and looked dirty. The air conditioning made such a loud noise, that I was unable to sleep soundly through the night and kept waking up as the heater/ac would turn on and off every 15 minutes. Breakfast was complimentary but the food was not quality. The eggs looked undesirable and the bagels were hard. Grateful that I had food to eat, I just couldn't continue eating there, so I had to pay for breakfast independently. The gym was not usable. There were no sanitary wipes to wipe down the equipment, so I had to purchase some at a local Walmart, just to use the gym. There was no air conditioning inside the gym and the weight machines were inoperable. Moreover, I am not one to complain, and easy to please, but staying at several Wyndham establishments,I thought this hotel would follow the same level of quality. I will say that the staff was nice and I believe in giving credit when it is due. Overall, I would continue my patronage at Wyndham hotel establishments in the future, just not this one in Linthicum, MD.

Nice staff and room

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Fair price and proximity to public transportation. Did not need a rental car.
Stayed at Hotel for Army Navy game. Used the shuttle service to the airport and train service downtown. It worked out well. Room was comfortable and clean and the staff was helpful. Took advantage of the free shuttle and the drivers were very nice and helpful. Cracker Barrel and other restaurants are close by. i would stay there again.
