"Endroit très agréable de tout point de vue, en bas de la descente de Caldeira à Pai Antonio. L'hôtel se repère bien grâce à la photo. L'hôtesse est adorable, elle nous a fait un bon petit déjeuner à 5.30 h du matin. Il faut savoir que l'endroit est isolé , loin de la ville, mais il y a des alugers qui passent pas loin. Nous avons bien apprécié la décoration jeune et gaie ."

"Edificio Magico was the perfect introduction for me to Tarrafal de São Nicolau Island. The entire team were so professional, and my apartment was perfect, inside and outside on the balcony with its gorgeous panoramic view. The location on the beach in the center of the city was ideal - with easy walks to restaurants, shopping, museums, stadiums and of course along the coast itself. Thanks also for providing suggestions for hiking and touring Sao Nicolau Island. "

"A bit of a hidden gem. Had a great stay here. Alberto was very welcoming on check in. Had a secluded feel about the place which was exactly what I was looking for. The apartment itself was very spacious and home like. Short walk from the beach where there were a few beach bars/restaurant. Towards the centre you will find a number of different supermarkets and restaurants. Recommended! "

"Staff were professional and extremely helpful. Both at reception and the restaurants. The cleaners unfortunately spoke Portuguese, so put my requests in at the front desk. Excellent choice at breakfast. Buffet in the evenings also had a great choice. As soon as food ran out, it was quickly replaced, both breakfast and dinner. "Staff is impersonal, particularly at reception where they need to be super helpful. My husband come down with flu and asked at reception if they had any medicine and the answer was “ no “ and end of, not an alternative offered or even indicating the nearest pharmacy. Rooms were okay, clean but worn out and the daily room keeping rushed as I would find dirt on the floor from the day before. Food was well cooked and tasty but not much variety offered as the days went by. "
