“Good hotel, minor issues”

Pros: Very nice hotel, good value. Great location, very beautiful. Wonderful breakfast. Cons: Does not have free WIFI. The shower changed temperature every few seconds.

“Huge Disappointment, Staff Unfriendly”

The hotel is in a beautiful, picturesque location. That is all I can say that is positive. When we arrived and got our room key we realized that we were given a room that is apart from the rest of the hotel. One room that is next to the reception desk, less than 15 feet from the road with passing cars, and about 3 steps from the restaurant. The windows had to stay open b/c there is no air conditioning, but we had to close them at night to sleep because the cars passing by were extremely close to our room (again, less than 15 feet from our head, as we were street-level). The beautiful location is a small river and a lot of green space, which naturally produces insects. No screens on the windows, along with the no air conditioning created an interesting situation. The bed was less than 2 inches from the bathroom door, making it impossible to move at all. Besides the room/location being among the worst I've ever stayed (I am a frequent traveller), the staff at the front desk was horrible. They should definitely not be in the hospitality business. They were not friendly, did not try to solve issues, and not at all interested in making our stay any better. Out of the 6 hotels we stayed at during an extended holiday, this was by far the worst and I would not suggest anyone stay here.

“Not close to Bath city centre”

This hotel is at least a 45 minute walk from Bath itself. The hotel door actually looked like a frosted shower glass door. Rooms are tiny, which is to be expected in Europe, but even by those standards, the room is a bit small.
