Perfect Again!
The property was perfect for our needs. Quiet neighborhood, nicely located, quaint yet laid out nicely. The hooks on the wall and behind the doors are a nice feature. Glad we had satellite tv for the playoffs. And the owners are extremely thoughtful and responsive.

Great location, great price! I stayed here with my dad on a fishing trip, and it was exactly what we were looking for, a true fisherman’s cabin. There’s a launch right on the Rainy River and close access to Lake of the Woods. Two people is comfortable, three would be manageable, but four would be pretty crowded. If you’re on a fishing trip and just looking for a place to sleep, eat, watch TV, and play some cards, you won’t find a better deal.

There are no shelves, no place to hang up a coat or shirt, no closet, nothing. Very disappointed
It wouldn't take much to make this cabin much more liveable, about $100 in materials and an afternoon worth of labor.

Perfect fishing cabin
This place had everything our family needed for a fall fishing trip and then some. It's not fancy and shows wear and tear, but everything was clean, and the kitchenette was nicely equipped. We had car trouble while we were there, and then host (Ryan) went out if his way to help. We will definitely be back.

Excellent 2 bedroom cabin near the Rainy River. The most comfortable sheets and pillows of any place I have stayed. Well equipped with cooking equipment, paper towels, & shower towels. Restroom is small but good shower. Great deck and bbq grill. Easy access to river and lake. Excellent service, snow removed when we were out fishing! The owner, Ryan, was very courteous and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

fisherman's cabin... not for those with allergies
This property is fine for fishing. It's a little down river from the point but the price was right. It has all the usual things you would expect plus ceiling fans in all the rooms and an oven. The kitchen has enough fry pans, plates & cups to manage cooking with a little creativity. The main issue was cleaning. I'm not sure who did the cleaning last, but they forgot to clean the hair out of the shower drain and didn't wipe down the base of the toilet. The cabin has a very musty smell which I attributed to being closed up too long. There were spiders in all of the corners (12 plus the bathroom) so I spent a bit of time dealing with those before bed. Fortunately, my teenage daughter isn't completely freaked out by them. The kitchen sink is leaking somewhere. I noticed it just be fore we left this morning as I grabbed a new bag for the trash. This maybe the source of the musty smell. The bathroom is quite narrow and you must pass the water heater as you enter. This could not accommodate a very large person. The grill and patio are nice and the area is quiet at night.

Perfect for a fishing getaway! Boat ramp and included dock slip make for easy access to the Rainy River and Lake of the Woods. Cabin was very clean and included everything we needed. Patio with gas grill and table/chairs was a plus. Owners were awesome...super responsive and helpful. Looking forward to booking this property again for future stays.

its a quite place to get away
We want somewhere close to fishing the cabin was good size for us. It was clean and neat. the only thing I could think i would of liked would of been small light in living room so we can read without big light on.
