Never Again I Will Stay here!!!

The sheets had stains, the shower didn't drain, the carpet looks dirty and if you request extra towels better be ready to go down to the front desk to request them. No customer service at all. Very poor services will not recommend this hotel to no one. The room smell old and I dislike the fact that our room had full size beds instead of queens.

The hotel was OK for the cost. Nothing really special I would say. Could have been a little cleaner but it was generally middle of the road.

Good news, bad news

Even though Dennis, at 800-491-7598, who I made the reservation with had actually called the hotel to check that adjoining rooms with a rollaway were available, they had no record of those requests and the rollaway was not available the first night. Then one adjoining door could be opened fully only with extremely great effort. The housekeeper asked if we needed the room cleaned, which made me wonder what would have happened had we not been there. Our Hilton HHonors account may not be credited with the 2 nights for 2 rooms since we didn't reserve the room through Hilton, but the desk clerk took our number anyway. Needless to say, in the future, I'll call the hotel directly at 409-840-9922. The good things were that the people were friendly and helpful, with lots of smiles. The breakfast was good, and there was a beverage bar in the lobby dispensing coffee, hot chocolate, and tea all the time. There was also a bowl of fruit in the lobby all the time. It was conveniently located so that we could walk to Joe's Crab Shack, Cheddar's, and the Waffle House as well as Tinseltown through the parking lot, or we could take a car without having to get back on the access road and use the turn around. When we got home, my husband realized he'd accidentally brought 2 of the hotel hangars home since I'd put some of the coats on them, so I called the hotel and spoke with Kevin, who said not to bother returning them since they had plenty, but thanked me for my honesty!

Very nice hotel

Everything was excellent expect one housekeeper that kept knocking on the door the day of checkout she knocked on my door a total of 3 times before 11 am checkout and I asked her for towels the second time she came back to see if I left yet and she never bought them but the front desk people did and then she went and told the manger that I told her I wasn't leaving till 1pm which I never said that to her I don't know why she was so rude or in a hurry to clean our room when she was still working down the hall but I guess rude people need to be rude to someone anyone, but other than that like I said it was excellent the rooms the breakfast the hotel and the staff expect that one lady
