This was a fantastic hotel and although its only 2 star, its far better than a number of 4 star hotels I have stayed in The staff were really friendly and the rooms was plenty big enough with some really lovely views the carpark is a little tricky, but that was the only real issue I certainly plan to stay here again

Lovely budget hotel in the heart of town. includes free parking which in a tiny town like this is quite amazing and a pretty good breakfast. The owners and people working there are super friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic
Perfect base for exploring the Ardennes. We loved our stay at this hotel, and the breakfast was fantastic. The parking lot is behind the hotel, and a bit challenging to find, but the owners gave excellent directions. Check in is in the small shop under the Hotel sign. The room was well appointed, comfortable, and had the best shower of any place we stayed on this trip.

Comfortable hotel in a lovely but very popular small town. On site parking was very useful. Good breakfast. Plenty of restaurants within a few minutes walk. Very friendly helpful owners.

In the heart of Durbuy
Great location. Walk around town. When first getting there, did not see the name of hotel, so had to drive around the street 3 times, park nearby and walk around to find the hotel. The owner spoke English & Dutch, which is better than most people in town. The room was spacious, the bed was excellent, we did have parking right by the room. It had a coffee maker & tea kettle. There was no window in the room that could be opened. Durbuy is very charming. You need to park and then walk around town. Lots of restaurants.

The most caring staff you will find at a hotel
Could not say enough nice things about the staff! The gentleman who checked us in was extremely kind and good-hearted. I think he may own the building or at least the hotel part of it. His English was fairly good- well enough for us to understand and he made sure we knew where to park and how to get in our room. We had to cancel our first night of our stay and he graciously did not make us pay although I think he was able to fill the room last minute for the night. We weren't expecting any room tidying as we were only staying 2 nights and after leaving the room a total mess we were surprised to come back to a very neat room! The breakfast was very satisfactory, first time we were offered an entire carafe of coffee for ourselves as opposed to the machines we found in every other hotel we stayed at. The fresh strawberries were my favorite. We had to leave extremely early in the morning to catch our flight so he was able to help us check out and take care of the bill the night before. He packed us a breakfast for the airport, SO SWEET!!!

Great stay at La Librairie Durbury
We arrived quite late in the evening and reception was closed but a quick phone call and our host arrived in a few minutes and set us up in our rooms which were spacious, comfortable and clean. It's a beautiful town and we managed to grab a really nice meal in one of the local restaurants before settling down for the night. Breakfast was served on the hotel veranda overlooking the nearby river and rolling countryside which made for a very relaxing morning. The food itself was excellent - especially the breads and I rather over indulged... Overall great place to stay in a beautiful town / city. Would happily visit again. Breakfast was

Great location in the Smallest Town on Earth
Although we stayed for only one night on our way to Bastogne and the War Memorial, the hotel was a unique experience. For one, the owner and his family run the place, as well as a stationary store that sells just about everything from souveniers to soft drinks and magazines. Hence the name. The room was nice and clean, with a modern design and excellent beds. Its also steps away from everything (lots of hotels with excellent restaurants), and has private parking, a blessing if you are driving (which is THE way to see Europe anyhow). Please bear in mind you need to check in before 6 pm, or advise if you will be late. And save a space for the excellent breakfast which is included.

Heerlijk verblijf van 3 nachten
Het hotel is een aanrader. Het is midden in het centrum gelegen en achter het hotel is er genoeg parkeer gelegenheid. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en staat direct voor je klaar bij vragen. De kamers zijn basic ingericht, maar in prima staat! Ontbijt is prima; er staat ‘s ochtends een mandje brood op tafel klaar en er is allerlei beleg. Daarnaast ook yoghurt, fruit en eieren.

Ik heb geen enkele opmerking. Vriendelijk, behulpzaam en uitstekende bediening bij het ontbijt. Misschien aan tafel een "poubelle" voorzien? Voor de rest niets dan lof.

Einfaches Hotel in guter Lage. Einfaches Frühstück, leider nicht so ausführlich wie angekündigt. Viel Durchgangsverkehr im Frühstücksraum schränkt die Ruhe etwas ein.

Het verblijf in hotel La Librairie was aangenaam. We werden verwelkomd in het Nederlands en kregen een zeer uitgebreide uitleg. De kamer was zeer net en voldoende ruim. Twee personen konden er makkelijk in slapen. Er was ook een voldoende grote badkamer met bad/douche aanwezig. In onze kamer moest je wel de douchekop de hele tijd vasthouden. Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid: croissant, stokbrood, chocoladebroodjes, ontbijtgranen, pistolets,... Koffie op verzoek verkrijgbaar. De ontbijtzaal was net groot genoeg voor alle gasten, maar dat stoorde niet. Wij hadden een kamer aan de straatzijde, maar last van het verkeer hadden we niet. We hoorden wel veel lawaai van de andere gasten wanneer zij op de gang liepen. Het grote voordeel van dit hotel is de (beperkte) private parking. Het centrum van Durbuy is vrij druk en overal moet je betalen om te parkeren. Soms is het eerder nipt om uit een parkeerplaats te geraken, maar het lukt uiteindelijk wel. Tip: 30 minuten gratis parkeren op een van de randparkings van het stadje is voldoende tijd om in te checken.

Prima hotel voor een bezoek aan Durbuy
Klein en gezellig hotel op loopafstand van het centrum van Durbuy. De ontvangst is zeer vriendelijk, de eigenaar doet alle moeite en spreekt zelfs Vlaams. De kamers zijn ruim, de bedden zijn prima en hygiene en verzorging laten niets te wensen over. Goed ontbijt.

ivm met korte golfvakantie 1 nacht geslapen in dit hotel, midden in durbuy, plaatsje vol activiteiten midden in de ardennen, kamer straatkant ietwat gehorig door de klinkerweg voor de deur. zeer vriendelijke gastheer die ook nederlands spreekt, kamer prima, alles aanwezig incl. gratis wifi. ontbijt goed verse broodjes en alles erop en eraan!

Prima hotel in het midden van Durbuy. Goed ontbijt, ruime keuze. Vriendelijk personeel. Kamer is modern, zo ook de badkamer. Gratis parkeren achter het hotel. Probeer je bagage op straat niveau uit te laden. De parkeerplaats ligt laag achter het hotel, je moet dan een lange rooster trap op, om vervolgens binnen weer 2 trappen op te moeten naar je kamer. Het is wat gesleep met bagage.

Bij de ingang van het kleine dorpje (het kleinste van de wereld) ligt boven een winkel het hotel. Eigenlijk is het meer een B&B. Door een familie gerund. Ontvangst in de winkel. Best wel chaotisch. Heel veel trapppen op met bagage. Nette kamer met mooi uitzicht over de rivier. Lekker dat de deuren open konden. Goed ontbijt. prima prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

Keurig verzorgd eenvoudig hotel met bijzonder gastvrij personeel. Keurig verzorgde ruime kamers, echter niet bijzonder gezellig. TV scherm te klein. Prima sanitair zowel in douche als toilet. Uitstekend ontbijt met goede kwaliteit ham, kaas, croissant en stokbrood. Zeker aan te bevelen voor kort verblijf met bij mooi weer een heerlijk ontbijt terras.
