We just wanted to get away a weekend. It was very nice!

My New Favorite Nature Hideaway
I stayed in the Fawn Lodge for two nights and it was absolutely wonderful! The cabin is beautiful and comfortable. Everything was exactly as described. As an avid nature lover, my stay there was a little slice of heaven. We really enjoyed sitting out on the back porch or around a fire, just listening to all the wildlife around us. We heard coyotes howling, elk bugling, owls calling, and even heard a bobcat. Deer were wandering around on the property, and we even enjoyed a short visit at our campfire from a porcupine. I spent my mornings bird-watching from the porch. After our long days exploring the area and looking for wildlife, the cabin was a warm and welcoming place to spend the night (and the beds are super comfortable). I am a regular visitor to elk country, and I will certainly be staying at the Fawn Lodge again in the future.

The Great outdoors
This home was beautiful and conveniently located near all the viewing for the Elk. The kitchen is stocked with all the dishes you would need for you stay. The house was very clean. We will definitely be back next year!

Beautiful clean cabin. Close to elk watching areas, beautiful mountain scenery. Only one restaurant in town but much more by rt 80. Cabin has all you need plus gas grill to cook your meals. Fire pit outside too

Fairly priced. Quite rustic. Alot of dark wood throughout. Perhaps a white contrasting ceiling would help with interior lighting. Comfortable and clean.

We loved Fawn Lodge so much! Clean, beautiful & quiet. Everything we could possibly need was right there. The fire ring was great & all the wood stacked and ready was so convenient. We are already looking at booking again for August. Can’t say enough good things about this property!

We had the best time in Elk Country. It was mine and my husbands first time there. The cabin was clean, perfectly located near restaurants, and the visitor center, along with plenty of hiking trails. The owner was wonderful and communicated well. Highly recommend!!

Everything you need
The Fawn Lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The fire ring area was fully stocked with firewood and 4 nice chairs. Lots of bottled water in the fridge and plenty of towels in the shower area. There were even snacks on the table when we arrived.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
This cabin was just what we needed for our long weekend stay in Elk Country. The cabin was clean and well stocked. It was perfect for us. We enjoyed exploring the area and saw about 75 elk over the course of our 3 day stay! Would definitely stay here again.

Fall getaway
Beautiful cabin! Everything you need, very very clean. Relaxed and went to see the elk, and rode around to see the beautiful fall colors. Would very much rent again

Perfect
The Fawn Lodge at Wilson’s Paradise was just perfect for our needs. It was quiet, rustic, cozy, and very clean. It was close to all elk viewing areas and the nearby vistas were breathtaking. The furniture and bed were very comfortable, we grilled every night, one morning we awoke to the sound of a hoot owl; it was a wonderful getaway. We could not have enjoyed our stay more.

Enjoyed the cabin and surroundings. Close to Elk visitors center. Owner accommodating with letting us park a trailer we were traveling with. Cabin had all the essentials!

A nice retreat
Stayed here for a work retreat. It was exactly what I needed to be able to get away from the busyness of the office and focus on what’s important. I also got to see deer and turkeys on the property and the elk were just down the road in Benezette.

Loved our cabin.
Beautiful cabin with gorgeous view in the woods, yet minutes from the main highway. Gas fireplaces, including one in each bedroom with glass beads, and a variety of color choices for the flames were so relaxing. Fabulous woodwork. Everything we could have possibly needed for cooking and grilling. Nice thick bathroom towels. Lots of little touches to make the stay more enjoyable. Nice set up for the fire pit, with wood provided. Very clean. Would absolutely recommend.
