I was facing like a garbage and goods center, which trucks starts moving, loading unloading since very early hour, and alarm in this center goes on late hours everyday,
I was waiting on door for almost 2 hours in very cold wet weather because the application to open doors didn’t work,
Location is good, room clean, but could not get one good night proper sleep because of this cennete which is just across the street from Balcony
The room was very clean.
The check-in process was all remote and very confusing. The front door off of the main road was dark and there were instructions on the door on how to get into your room. There was no staff on the premises to help guide you with the check-in process, which was very confusing. I had to ask someone for assistance because I was not able to get into the hotel on my own.

Hi Andrea, thank you for your review. I am very sorry that you had difficulties getting into the hotel late at night. After 10pm in the evening, our night service in the neighboring hotel helps all our guests by phone. Generally, all guests can check in themselves and also open all doors. However, I also agree with you that it is certainly difficult to see the entrance signs in the dark. Our Anna 1908 is somewhat winding and the entrances to the hotel are rather difficult to find. However, I hope that you otherwise enjoyed your stay with us! Many greetings!
Beautiful hotel in a lovely neighborhood. Our room was new and modern and large. The bathroom and shower was very nice. The breakfast was amazing with hot and cold items and coffee drinks. The balcony was nice overlooking a park. The staff was very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Thanks a lot Zeev!! We are happy you enjoyed your stay!
Excellent place to stay if you have younger kids because there is a park/playground across the street. Staff is friendly. Only negative is our room was warm and there wasn’t any air conditioning or fan. Luckily our friends lived close by and lent us a fan. Public transportation, restaurants, shopping and groceries were all close by.

Hi Jennifer, great that you had such a good stay with your family! And I was just a bit irritated. We do offer one fan in each room.I am so sorry that yours was missing obliviously. We will check that asap! We do provide as well some extra at the reception, so maybe for the next stay 😉
Greetings from Berlin to you and your family!

The location was perfect for us, near relatives. For others, it is great too. You are one block from the UBahn station, and at a shopping venue with both groceries, drogerie, and prepared food. The hotel was quiet, and the breakfast good and nicely presented. The staff were friendly and all seemed to speak some English. If you stay on 3 or 4, there are steps to navigate since the elevator stops between the floors. There is no airconditioning but you can open the windows. We were pleased and will go back.

Overnight in Berlin - comfortable stay at Anna 190
The hotel is a little bit of a strange set up with the rooms in another building that also seems to be a residential building. But, the rooms are really nice, clean, well designed and comfortable. I slept very well, the breakfast was good and the emmener of staff that checked me in was very helpful. I wasn’t aware that the reception closes at 18:00 so you should beware of this, but you can check in online and collect your key so as long as you are aware you shouldn’t be put off by that fact.
The room (ours was called Our Cosy Room) was sufficient in size and had a nice bathroom, as a surprise there was also a refrigerator – nothing was mentioned about it anywhere and its not in the photos, really nice to have one in any case. Perhaps not all of the rooms have it?
A minus was that during the night tobacco smoke came into the room, we're not sure from where, could not find the source. Windows were closed. This points to some problems with the ventilation of the building.
The elevator doesn't stop at the same floors with the rooms, so you have to carry suitcases in stairs part of the way.
24 hour parking at the mall in the same block (less than 100 meters away) costs only 5 euros, which is really nice (cash payments only)

Thank you for your detailled feedback Petja. Happy to hear you enjoyed your stay.
All the rooms, except the Minis have a minbar/small fridge. I am sorry about the smell of smoke. Maybe the neighbours? Hard to tell where it came from...
Nevertheless...Maybe we get to see you again some day :-)
Convenient location in quiet street. Lovely little hotel and friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

Thank you for your nice feedback Jennifer. Great to hear you had a good time :-) Looking forward seeing you again next time visiting Berlin. Until then all the best.
Location is close to a major shopping center and u-bahn station. The breakfast here was very good and included scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. There were lot of sliced meats, cheeses, cereals. The coffee was of low quality. The main problem was the major construction across the street which started with very loud bangs at 6am. I should have been informed about this! And how is it allowed to start construction with loud noises at 6am? In the USA it cannot start before 7 or 8 am typically. Furthermore, this hotel has no AC and temperatures were well above 30 Celsius. The bathroom was extremely small and it was almost impossible the way it was designed to prevent flooding the bathroom floor. The hotel service staff through away my water bottle and my padded envelop which I was using for my IPad. They also left no room in the mini-fridge for my own drinks, and then they tried to charge me for the drinks which I had removed from the minifridge to make room for my own.

Dear Russ,
thank you for your feedback. I am happy to hear that you at enjoyed our breakfast buffet. Something that made you feel a little better in the morning.
It is major project across the street and to get the job done as quick as possible they work all allowed hours. In Germany the night rest is from 10:00 pm until 06.00 am. During that time they can work. We do not like that either but try to make the best of it.
An AC is not standard in German hotels either like it may be in American hotels. For an AC you need to look for specifically when booking a room.
The flooding topic will be checked by our maintenance team. Did you tell someone about it on site?
My apologies as well for the lost plastic bottle and envelope. Unluckily it must have been mistaken to be trash. Very sorry about that Russ. We would have replaced it of course, if you just had told us on site.
The minibar charges were a misunderstanding. Those things can happen, especially when all drinks are removed by he guests.
Maybe you want to start all over again and give us another chance some other time in the future. When the building site is gone and the weather isn't as hot anymore.
Until then all the best,
I stayed for 3 nights so,the room is very big , very clean, quiet, queen bed plus 1 sofa bed and i have choose 1 person room!!!
The staff was very friendly and they speak very good English.
The only drawback is the price of the breakfast.to expensive for the quality.
Nice residential area, close to metro, restaurants and shopping. Nice playground across the street. Hotel has a great location, the room was spacious and comfortable as well as the bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. The only drawback was that it has no air conditioning, which might be fine during the winter months but not so much in the summer.
Old fashioned key system, bed gave me backache, bathroom slight smell of sewage or at least stale water, silly wooden boxes (wine crates) nailed to bedroom wall, rather expensive breakfast, staff OK but polite in that forced German way. Maybe I should love the aGerman modus vivendi more

Dear guest, thank you very much for your honest feedback!! I am very sorry you did not liked the interior of the rooms. Yes the key system could be more modern but we think it fits to the old building better. But that´s just every ones personal preference. I am very sorry for the ad smell. This is something we should improve. And of course my colleges should be as polite as you can expect from a hotel member. So I am very sorry if you was not treat that way.
Although I hope you stay in Berlin was nice and you enjoyed the city?
Best wishes,
If you need good Internet access, go elsewhere. The connection was very slow and occasionally spotty.
We arrived after 11 PM from the airport and the doors were locked. You had to call a phone number and they would release a door key and room key from a box by the door. But if you don't have a working phone you're out of luck. It can take a couple of days to get a cell phone SIM card working there (security screening required), so if our Swedish SIM card hadn't worked, we would have been unable to get into the hotel.
The room was clean and basic. Bathroom also spotless. Beds comfortable. Not enough tabled for breakfast so had to wait. Was perfect position for visiting my sister around the corner. Staff very pleasant.
I loved this hotel. My "mini" room was perfect for one person and so cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. The hotel was very well kept and in a nice neighborhood, with easy access to the S-baun, U-baun, and bus lines.
We knew we had booked out of the city centre ie away from the tourists centre but the neighbourhood and convenient public transport was excellent. Cafes and restaurants nearby. Only downside was no tea and coffee in the room. Didn't try breakfast as plenty of places nearby. Great stay.
Very nice hotel located 150 mts to a metro station making access to any turist attraction in Berlin. The hotel is also located close a very good shopping area. Hotel has some parking space but limited, in front has big parking facility (EUR 10 a day). The breakfast is good but a little bit expensive in my opinion. Room good and very confortable. I had some administrative issues but very well managed by hotel staff. This hotel is arecommended option for sure
