I stayed for 4 nights and 5 days and wish I had booked and spent my money elsewhere.
The rooms are not serviced well or cleaned to a high standard. I asked for my room to be extensively cleaned as it had remnants from the previous guests, including broken glass in the bathroom. This was ignored for two days and I was refused a room change until I called the final night upon returning to my room, ask for equipment to clean the broken shards of glass myself, so I could take a shower. I was eventually moved at midnight on my last night to a more modern room on the 6th floor in comparison to the old ‘classic’ deluxe room I was initially given. Which the carpet was thick and heavy, along with the air vents being filled with dust. I would not recommend to those with allergies.
I ordered a steak one lunch time and it arrived cold, and barely edible, along with the sides. Only the mash was enjoyable.
The breakfast buffet was good in parts but the ‘cooked’ hot breakfast was strange, I eventually stopped eating that.
Night time concierge was understanding when I found the room to be freezing and gave me an extra duvet without hesitation as there is no heating. I wish I got his name as he was very kind, and so was the security on duty.
I’d like to thank Payton for having the kindness to move me rooms after all, whilst the other receptionists weren’t entirely nice.
