New Years Eve solo trip
Nice hotel in a great location to public transportation and the hop on hop off bus. Breakfast was not robust but had deli meats and breads, fruit and granola. Vegan spreads and alternative milks available. Staff are nice. Stayed on 3rd floor where dining is located but no bother with noise since I was down the hall. Water gets hot and shower pressure is great. Comfortable stay right by the mall (though closed NYE weekend!)

Super modern looking hotel with the typical Motel One blue theme. Kind of MCM design, but more modern. Super close to the Brandenburger. Gate and the Jewish Memorial. The U ubahn is a block away. Nice place.

Disappointed with the German version of MotelOne
First the good things. Very good location with excellent transport links and a very good selection of restaurants within a few minutes walk. The bed was comfortable and bathroom easy to use. However, the room layout was terrible. There were no space beside the bed to put anything, no safe and no in-room refreshments. We've stayed in Motel-One in the UK and been very happy. The German version was a disappointment both here and in Leipzig. We would not choose German Motel-One again (although very happy with the UK version)

A small room, without a closet, without a safe and refrigerator, carpets from wall to wall - not recommended for those allergic to dust. Location right inside the Berlin Mall. The trip to the airport involves changing trains at least once.

Room or closet?
Standard rooms are extremely small, more like a closet than a room. Very little room for clothes and no place to leave your bags. It could be ok for one night stay, no for a longer trip.

Fantastic location!
Great location. Very clean. Easy access to public transportation. I would definitely use this hotel again. It has several locations throughout the city.

Great location, easy parking in the mall garage and walking distance to many attractions as well as the subway and even the Big Bus stop. Staff was friendly and spoke English well. Breakfast was nice with a variety of food.

Hotel is in a good location but there was construction happening when we stayed which was disruptive. Rooms were small and it felt like it was unclean, very dusty.

Funky hotel centrally located, well priced
Modern funky hotel right in the heart of the cuty. Walking distance from most attractions and good selection of bars and restaurants. If you're a shopper its actually right in the Mall of Berlin. The staff were helpful and efficient. Room was a good size, but clothes hanging spaceis a little limited if youre not a light traveller but this was not a problem for us. The bar atea is a lovely spot to chill with a coffee or drink after a long day enjoying the sights of Berlin. If we returned to the city we would happily stay at this property again.

Everything was just OK. Fine for the money.. However NO Safe in the room. There's isnt a bin in the room either.. The lift kept breaking leaving us to work up and down 7 sets of stairs for 2 days

I was welcomed warmly, I got there a bit early and he was able to accommodate me. Very nice gentleman, don’t remember his name. The room was perfect, it was simple, updated and clean. Definitely would stay again!!!

Good motel-Good Location in Berlin
Motel is inside the Mall of Berlin. Room is small and clean. Location is good, close to the metro station, Sony Center, Brandenburg Gate and restaurants.

Wonderful City Stay
Nice new rooms. Parking was a little tricky but there was very good signs pointing you to the hotel under the Mall. Elevator directly to your room from the parking garage. The check in guy was excellent, very helpful and wanted to ensure I had a nice stay. A/C could have been colder. Wi-fi was good. Would stay here again

Good room but too hot in the summer
Location was ideal for us and the staff were friendly (upper level staff moreso than front lobby staff). However, a few complaints is that the a/c ended up being very weak (seemed they capped it despite putting a control in the room) that we were still so hot no matter what coolest setting, which made the long stay quite uncomfortable during the summer nights. Another issue was that a weird smell permeated from the bathroom, and strong cologne/fragrance in the bedroom.
