Great breakfast and housekeeping was on top of all! Liked having parking available although car not needed since s and ubahn connection excellent. Big shopping center across the hotel and apartments. Would stay here again :)

2 hotel male staffs went up to my room around 6 pm and opened my hotel door when i failed to respond to the reception call and the knocking on my door. Without permission, consent, and authorization, using their hotel access keys, they opened my door alleging my inability to pick up the telephone as the cause of their intrusion. It was 6:00 pm, and I was in the bathroom. They could not even wait until the next morning to discuss whatever it was they needed from me, a guest who is booked for 9 days in their hotel. Where is the guest's right to privacy? During a guest's tenancy, employees are not authorized to enter the room except for routine or requested cleaning and maintenance. Ocak Hotel has violated my right to privacy and endangered my security. Such a sad experience that you were more safe walking in the streets of beautiful Berlin than in the supposed to be comfort of your hotel room.

The hotel was fine with very friendly staff. However, it is very misleading when they indicate a kitchenette. It comprises of cupboards, kettle for tea/ instant coffee and very small fridge. No other appliances or dishes are provided……not a toaster or microwave. If you would like these, we were told that it would be an additional 30 euros a day. I was very disappointed as I booked this hotel because of the kitchenette since we were spending 11 days in Berlin. Had I known in advance, I likely wouldn’t have switched hotels since the one I had previously booked included a full kitchen. The extra fee was not indicated in the property details. I had to scroll to find it.

Property was fine but WiFi did not work in our room and after speaking to reception still not fixed. Few things, rain shower did not work properly, toilet flush sometimes stuck. Our youngest child ended up with rash after sleeping on sofa bed.

The common area was poorly unlit. In fact very minimal lighting in the room as well. Customer service was ok, we kept getting random strangers knocking on our door. Not sure if the front desk was giving out incorrect room numbers

A great ApartHotel
A neat apartment Hotel approximately 6km from Brandenburg gate. Car parking available at the property for EUR 18 per day. There is a kettle in the apartment but no kitchen/cooking which wasn’t a concern for us. There are lots of eateries close by and Uber costs around EUR 12-15 (non peak hours) to get to main attraction centres. I would stay here again.

Outside of main city but takes 4 minutes to get to Berlin hbf, nice area and loads of shopping and food options. Also really pretty room, but had to pay if you wanted kitchen utensils.

Good location with lots of excellent local restaurants. Close to the Berlin public train service. The neighborhood is vibrant and nice - lots of families and ethnic restaurants. Hotel is very clean and quiet.

An ok stay. Very very spacious room which was nice. Parking was 18 euros per day which was ok. However, there were not enough resources in the kitchen to be able to do cook which makes it odd to have such a large room (only a microwave was present). These rooms were clearly relatively new, but our apartment was just not clean enough. Bathroom and bedroom were clean. However there were filthy stains all over the couches (we had to ask for sheets to cover the couch to sit on it), and even the rubbish from previous guests was under the sink. The room smelt faintly of cigarette smoke also. Staff were generally helpful, trying to source an extra key on arrival to give us two (they had run out). however there were ads all over the lobby for a gym which we got excited to use the next morning, when we walked over though the clerk said there was no gym and the hotel only opened a month ago so the gym was not ready yet. We found this odd given the state of our room (as above) and the amount of advertising for the gym downstairs. We also planned to go to breakfast - we arrived 40 mins before closure which is very reasonable to find literally no food - empty yoghurt jars, one sad piece of bread, and some slops of scrambled eggs with no signs of replenishment. Luckily we hadn’t prepaid so ate elsewhere. Would not recommend paying for breakfast! Overall an ok stay.

Visiting from the USA and I speak very little German, hotel staff spoke English well enough for us to communicate with. Hotel room was not very large, but I had a comfortable stay. Appreciated the microwave that was available (extra cost) to make breakfast or heat up food.

Clase to the Station and 10-15min away from Brandenburg Tor (walk+train). Very bad WiFi, however I think Berlin in general has a problem with the WiFi/internet speed

Very clean and modern. The location was good, being in walking distance to a shopping mall. Good restaurants nearby. The beds were uncomfortably hard ( beyond firm) and the sofa bed that was supposed to be a double was really just a loveseat that opened up to a large single bed- not comfortable for 2 adults.

Property is new and comfortable. Bathroom is wonderful and modern. Room lacked homely atmosphere. Didn’t have dinner plates; lacked living room furniture. There were no side lamps.

Ok for what you pay for
Limited amenities even it describes as an apartment: only 4 glasses, 2 wine glasses, tea kettle. No microwave, no utensils. The bed is two single bed pushed together, a deep canon drop right in the middle of the bed. Really clean and spacious. Breakfast is nothing no brag about. Wifi kept dropping out so much that is frustrating...

The person at the front desk was super helpful the first day. We arrived early and they let us stow our luggage and offered us maps and advice on where to go and how to get around. We got back around 1:30 and they checked us in early. Breakfast was very good. The only problem was the WiFi. It didn’t work on the 3rd floor at all ( we had to be moved to the 4th) and it barely worked there. Only by the door or in the bathroom which is where we were forced to spend our time looking things up. The WiFi In the restaurant didn’t work at all.

Wi fi was extremely disappointing which being a traveller is important. I asked to change rooms as it didn’t work. They acknowledged it didn’t work on floor 3. So be careful if they want to put you on floor 3.

Decent Place but Not Amazing
There was a kitchenette and no plates, bowls, or silverware. Just 6 glasses. Also, used in room coffee and coffee maker the first morning and the coffee was never replenished. Front desk could not find more. Breakfast was pretty good and was only 10 Euros for adults - kids were free.

The hotel was very modern and clean, so close to the S and U bahn and right next to big shopping centre! The staff were lovely, I really can’t pick a fault with the hotel - only problem being that the room got really hot as I think our air conditioning was faulty but that is the only bad word I can say. Would highly recommend staying here if you were to come to Berlin, especially as it’s only 6 mins on the u bahn away from the centre!

Nice place, all new, large room, clean, great location, friendly staff. Nice bathroom, comfortable shower. Kitchenette, however, is minimalist - refrigerator plus electric kettle with teacups, instant coffee, and teabags. If you want to actually use the kitchenette you will have to bring your own equipment - dishes, silverware, dish soap, hot plate, whatever.
