The staff member helped us secure a room even though Expedia sold us a room and the hotel was sold out . Luckily , the Holiday in employee was kind and hard working . A reservation called in to cancel and we got that room . It was a mixture of luck , good timing , and a good Holiday inn employee.

Property is under renovation. I was told the floor I was on was complete but it clearly wasn't. Missing covers on outlets, paint and drywall smears on the inside and outside of the elevator. The things that were completed in the room was basically lipstick on a pig.

Clean and nice. Felicia at front desk was super nice! Unfortunately hot tub was not hot at all - not even lukewarm. The hot tub was one of the reasons we chose this hotel.

When we got there the parking lot had construction vehicles all in it. Walked in door and plactic and dust was all over, but smelled clean. We checked in at a tempoary desk area they had set up. Got room and room was nice and clean. We'd actually stay again. But was shocked at first with all the construction and plactic hanging everywhere. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Would've rated all 5s except for the construction onsite.

This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It had tons of construction going on in the lobby that there was no mention of and I still paid $170 for my stay people downstairs were not friendly and welcoming. They laughed and joked with each other, and gave no attention to me even at times, making me feel stupid For asking questions. They treated me and my kids like we were secondhand citizens and were rude and disrespectful. If you’re gonna spend $170 go somewhere else absolutely not worth it not to mention the toilet clogged upstairs and downstairs and was absolutely ridiculous.

Ok place to stay.
Was nice once we got settled. Check in/afternoon young lady was very nice. Check out/morning crew looked and sounded like they were having a family reunion. Hotel was hard to find, no markings from the road.

Upon arrival was taken aback by the fact that there were no cars in the parking lot. There was no breakfast service and half the channels on the tv didn’t work, the indoor “heated” pool was lackluster at best. Overall if not for the friendly staff we would have left. We traveled from Indiana, (on our way to Florida) and planned to stay at a hotel half way through the trip. I specifically chose this hotel, because of their nice pool and hot tub for me and my kids. When we arrived, the hotel was under construction, and the pool area was closed. There was no warning about the hotel being under construction or that the pool area would be closed. I could’ve picked any number of other hotels with like accommodations, had I known that the pool would be closed. Pretty disappointing…

I am extremely disappointed! I booked this because it was close to my grandsons and they were going to swim. This is under construction, no pool, no ice machines. The door is so bad that no key entry will hardly open it. Very frustrating!. At first the room had no TV and we had to wait for it to be repaired. The front desk lady was not unfriendly but wasn’t real helpful either. I think she was probably stressed. The elevators are extremely slow. If I had known this place was under construction I definitely would not have stayed here and the room was not cheap.

You should be notified if a property is under construction and amenities are closed before finalizing a reservation. Otherwise you are not getting your money’s worth and you are subjecting yourself to unwanted inconveniences while paying full price. One of the elevators is not working properly either.

Not what we hoped for
Pool closed, which was major reason we chose this hotel. Renovations going on rooms and stairwells open which gave off an unsafe environment. Plus no lobby tv to gather with other teammates staying in hotel. Finally ice makers and elevators didn’t work half the time we were there. Also manager smoking right outside the front entrance was an unpleasant thing to walk out into.

Overall Okay
We spent less than 12 hours and paid $200. Overall, it was clean. The bathtub was delaminating so i dont think it could be cleaned properly which leaves an ick factor. The breakfast was standard. Overall nice.

Molly was awesome!!! Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was a little small with no chairs to sit it but not a deal breaker. Breakfast was really good. Only saysage though no bacon. Just for those bacon lovers like myself. Overall great stay

Very clean and well appointed room. We arrived a little early, so had to wait in the lobby for a room. Fortunately they had great coffee or tea in the lobby. The only complaint we had was that to open the room door, the handle had to be pushed up, not down. We were not told that at check in, so an extra visit to desk had to be made. To note, to exit room, you had to pull handle down! Breakfast was great.

The building and property look very run down. I was shocked by the condition of the outside when we pulled up. They said they are doing renovations and we got a 'renovated' room. It just looked like they slapped paint on a few walls (not even all of them) and bought some new bed linens. The carpet had a dark stain that was sticky. We booked two rooms, and check-in was at 3 pm but only one room was ready when we arrived at 3:30. They said the other room would be ready in 40 minutes. Nope, wasn't ready until after 6 pm. Definitely would not recommend.

a must stay .
was there for a conference that was held in sylacauga, al. the location of the hotel was great. The staff was friendly and very professional. Once, in the room the bed was so comfortable/ bathroom clean. Love the new look in the room/ bathroom. the pool area/ jacuzzi was peaceful. I will be back again.
