Owners are brilliant, can’t do enough for their guests. It’s a friendly atmosphere and while we were there , there were several couples we spoke to who have been back numerous times. Excellent value and breakfast is great.

A perfect base for frequent trips to Blackpool
Brilliant find this place. Great location right on the seafront, two mins walk from a tram stop into town. Lovely friendly welcome in a spotlessly clean and modern hotel. Breakfast out of this world.

Warm friendly welcome, superb selection for breakfast. tea coffee and biscuits in room. Comfy bed. Bar, while we didn’t travel with children we could see plenty toys and games for them. A hairdryer in room would’ve been an added bonus. Will definitely be back.

It was a fantastic 2 days again....the owners are amazing people who carnt do enough for u. This is my second stay with them now and it was lovely....and the breakfast is out this world.. i stayed in room 10 and it was lovely...a home from home feeling is what we got. they honestly couldnt do enough for us... will 100 percent be booking again for next year

Hotel spotless, breakfast was beautiful and so much offered, always being asked if there was anything we wanted. Owners were so friendly, helpful and you leave being friends. Bar was stocked with so many choices. Highly recommended

Mark and nikki were great hosts. But unfortunately due to work going on behind the B&B there was no hot water for our first 24hrs. The breakfasts were great. No mix up with any of the guest(and it was a full restaurant) well organised. The only negative was the very noisy mattresses. This wasn't just mine. All in all a lovely stay.

Can’t remember his name but the owner was lovely!! Made me and my partner feel very welcomed and even made us a full breakfast before we headed off home despite it being past the time they served breakfast. Would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Blackpool.

A great place to stay
This was a lovely ‘weekend’ visit to Blackpool. The Sandford was very nice, and the host welcoming and friendly. Blackpool is seemingly no longer the height of tourist destinations but in fact it’s great fun. A hotel like the Sandford is part of the visit!

Lovely little hotel
We had a beautiful small room facing the sea but on arrival quite late on the coldest night of the year, the heating didn’t work, we were in room 18, the host didn’t waste anytime getting us two heaters but an hour later was still too cold for me so we were offered the luxury room, which had more room and a working radiator I gladly accepted the loss of the view for the warmth. Rest of stay was very welcoming and busy was chatty and friendly will definitely stay again

A cracking place to stay!
Fantastic place to stay, Mark and his family go the extra mile to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, right from the first-class breakfast to the excellent draught beers and very well stocked bar, all at very reasonable prices. If you are planning a trip to Blackpool you wouldn't go wrong staying at The Sandford. Great location too.

Blackpool - September 2022
We had an amazing time at the hotel,. Mark and the team were awesome. We got there a bit early and managed to check-in straight away. We were made to feel part of the family, and had a great time with guests who regularly return to the hotel which speaks volumes to me. Baed on our experience we would thoroughly recommend going to the hotel to family and friends. We all said we would go back there again.

We have stayed in a lot of b&b but it’s the little things that make this one stand out out , we arrived very early on the day of check in , the host met me at the door with a smile and I said we were early , just making sure we were in the right place, he parked our car on the property so we did not have to worry about parking elsewhere, he said go for a walk and the room will be ready when you return , which it was , he and his family always had a smile and could not do enough for us , the breakfast was excellent, and very quick service , it made our 3day stay very enjoyable, the room and facilities were spotless, the bed was the best I have slept in for a long time , as good as home , overal this is what makes the standford stand out , home from home ,

The Sandford was amazing place to stay my husband and i and our three granddaughters we're made very welcome room was clean and very comfortable breakfast was delicious 😋 . The owners we're very friendly and accommodated for the grandkids. We were right near the beach ⛱️ which was good for the kids . I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely be going back again. Without the kids this time 😅 . Thank you so much mark and family for a wonderful stay xxx

As we arrived at The Sandford Promenade in Blackpool. We were greeted by the owner Mark who was lovely, kind and extremely accommodating. Dispite my partner and I arriving early than anticipated for check-in. The room was already available which was Amazing and had the most beautiful sea view. The breakfast was lovely and we started our day feeling hungry. Throughout our stay we were well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. My partner and I have both agreed we will both be returning very soon in the near future. Loved it!

We stayed in a standard double for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The en-suite had been nicely refitted and was a decent size. There was a good sized TV and the usual tea, coffee etc in the room. The owners had put out stock in the breakfast room downstairs so you could replenish as needed. The interior of the hotel has been recently decorated so all is clean and fresh. Choice of drinks in the bar was good and the breakfast was ample and of good quality. Jugs of freshly brewed coffee a welcome sight in the morning. It is a good 20 min walk to Blackpool tower from here. The owners were very friendly, chatty and helpful. A great find, would stay again.
