There is a full bath with fresh towels, hot shower, and a dining area which includes a pine table with benches.

The apartment is in a separate building adjacent to owners’ house. It is eco-friendly with solar thermal panels providing a majority of the hot water and heating year-round. Directions:

We are located 3/4 of a mile down Falls Bridge Rd on Huckleberry Lane, a groomed dirt road on the right. In the Summer months, there are abundant edible berry bushes and native wild flowers. A glacial erratic will meet you at the head of 65 Huckleberry Lane.

Stargazing
This was a very comfortable place to stay and had all the amenities we needed. It was great for stargazing on the balcony. We appreciated the microwave, cooktop, Wi-Fi, and refrigerator. We loved being in the forest.

Property was wonderful. Host sent message through Vrbo, but when I hit reply button I just got sent to Vrbo website for making new reservations. Very frustrated with Vrbo!

Super cute apartment! Easy drive to Bar Harbor/ Acadia. We went in late August and it was about an hour drive during the day. Hosts were super nice and welcoming. The stars were so amazing at night because there’s basically no light to get in the way. Only minor thing is it gets a little bit warm in summer without air conditioning but the nighttime temperatures cool it off. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay!

Bliss!
The perfect quiet stay for a Maine weekend away — great jumping off point to explore the coast and nearby Bar Harbor + Acadia. This really is the cutest spot & we were obsessed with the skylights.

Great stay in a quiet location
Well appointed little studio in a very quiet neighborhood. Clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The only issue was the lack of cell service and poor Wi-Fi connection.

Absolutely Amazing!
We absolutely loved our stay in Blue Hill! Our hosts were the nicest and most accommodating couple. Their property was exactly what we were looking for on our no frills vacation. No tv, no problem. There’s a puzzle in the drawer. Star gaze from the bed or the front porch which is also a great place to drink coffee, wine, or what ever you found at the Blue Hill Co-Op down the street. WiFi is there, but we didn’t need it that often with everything available in driving distance. Need coffee? There’s a pour over station in the kitchen, or there are several coffee shops in and around Blue Hill. The small fridge is the perfect size to hold any leftovers or a quick trip to the store. All-in-all, this is a wonderful place to stay when traveling the coast of Maine.
