Great Location off the beaten path on the scenic Okatee River. Just 20 minutes from Hilton Head, 15 minutes from Beaufort and 10 minutes from the quaint, cozy town of Bluffton. This property has a tidal creek with a dock and two kayaks and a paddle board available(for use on high tide). There are many features in the area such as the beach, exceptional golf courses, fishing, shopping and incredible sight seeing opportunities.

Wedding Guest Dream
We were a part of the bridal party for a wedding in Oldfield and the commute back and forth was so easy. The view from the back porch and out of the bedroom window was stunning every morning. Highly recommend this property!

Great little river house
We had a great stay at the river house.John and Kim were such good hosts,they even let us store our camper in their yard for our stay since we were going to continue our trip elsewhere after our family wedding and gifted us a bottle of wine.Best part was drinking coffee on the deck watching the marsh every morning

I went down with my mom and sister for my grandfather's birthday. The house was great and the hosts were very helpful. There were no issues with my stay. The backyard goes out to the Marsh and has a great view with a dock. I definitely recommend it.

Holiday in SC
We enjoyed staying at this property while visiting my son, daughter in law and our new baby grandson the week after Christmas through New Year’s Day. The listing is accurate and the river views are fabulous. There were 4 adults staying in the house and there was plenty of room to hang out. I hosted a dinner for 6 and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The location is great home-base as we explored Hilton Head, Bluffton and Beaufort. Our hosts were quick to communicate and ready to answer any questions. We had a lovely week!

Beautiful Getaway
This house was in a beautiful location with a great view. We enjoy sitting outside on the lawn and enjoying both the sunrise and sunsets. The house was the perfect size for us to be together or have our own space as couples. Our favorite room in the house was the room attached to the master bedroom with the great view of the backyard and into the marsh. Magical Scenery
The reason for our stay was to help our freshman daughter get moved into her dorm at SCAD in Savannah. It was such a treat to rest here at this beautiful haven overlooking the incredible marsh scenery!! Kim (owner) made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. I totally recommend this VRBO home for anyone wanting a tranquil and beautiful oasis, yet be close to shopping and entertainment.

Love it!
Absolutely enjoyed the place. Lots of wildlife to look at, incredible views off the dock, and plenty of things to check out in all directions. The dock is brand new and sturdy. Went out multiple times a day with wine or coffee to enjoy it. Would recommend to everyone and id love to go again!

Perfect Getaway
We loved this home on the backwater!! It was so peaceful and beautiful! There was wildlife everywhere! The house was our favorite house we have ever stayed in at this location! It is close to the beach and close to the boat docks yet has quiet peaceful remoteness. The house has all the comforts of home and our every need was met. We had the best hosts that instantly answered any question or need. We absolutely loved this place and cannot wait to visit again!

If you enjoy watching and/or getting out on a beautiful marsh, then look no further! Very peaceful setting with long marsh views. The home has everything you can need and Kim and John are terrific hosts who are easily accessible. Well located to both Bluffton and Beaufort.
