Property was as expected but the major issue i had was that they No showed my pre-paid Expedia reservation upon check-in and created a new reservation under Woodspring Suites which charged my credit card twice! Once for my Expedia reservation and then again for their resevations. Once i saw the double charge and talked to them about it they attempted to charge me $200 and not refund the full amount they double charged stating that Expedia doesnt pay them as much thus shifting blame to Expedia for their unethical business practices. I was furious and current disputing the charge with my cradit card company because of their unwillingness to take responsibility for their actions.

It took way too long to check in with the rhe front desk, even though our key/invoice to update and initial was already ready for them to have us update.the whole place smelled like dogs, the elevator was filthy, rhe fridge in the room didnt work, and the cover to the heater was completely off when we got to the room. The smoke alarm had a flashing light so bright, it made it hard ro sleep and the walls were so thin you could hear every move the other rooms/floors made. Was not a good experience.

Do not stay at this place!!! Reserved room through Hotels.com. for a 3 night stay. Arrived at 2 a.m. and clerk could not figure out how to I guess activate the reservation, took almost 30 minutes to get checked in. Paid in full for the stay. Got a call the next morning at 10 a.m. that I need to pay an additional $245 for the stay. Go down and argue with the staff about what the charges are for until the manager figures out the night clerk did input the original payment to the room but put it in as incidentals, or at least that was what I was told. Called before checking out to see if anything needed to be signed, told no, all good. Get home and find a charge for $245 was made on my credit card. Took multiple calls and messages before finally getting a manager who explained they billed the stay for an entire week "as you get a better rate" versus the 3 days I stayed. That is some new math to me. Manager agreed to reverse the charge. One day later there is an $81 dollar charge. Tried calling again, this time no return call back. Disputed with my credit card. Instead of admitting the fraudulent charge, the hotel doubled down and submitted a fraudulent check out invoice with the $81. Needless to say the charge was reversed by the credit card company but again do not stay at this place, there are at least 4 other hotels within a couple of blocks. Not worth the potential headache.

Hotel was very nice. Clean and friendly. The only draw back was the bed. It was not comfortable and anytime you moved the metal frame would make noises.

Our room had garbage in corners and under the shelving. THE BED HAD A SIZE FULL OR MEDIUM LINEN. THE BED ITSELF WAS A KING! SO ONLY HALF THE BED WAS COVERED WITH LINED. The staff left it that way and covered it with the mattress topper. Just plain bad!

Nice new hotel but bare minimum
There was no one at the front desk and no one answered the phone after trying numerous times. I finally got checked in 30 minutes later. Then there was nothing in the room. No cups, no shampoo. No conditioner, no soap, there was no blanket and only 2 towels in the room. There was no kleenexs. Barely anything in the hotel room. New hotel but offers less than a hotel 6.

It is a new facility and felt very clean. The areas that I found less than optimal - Bed - A flat spring platform, think sofa bed, with a low-grade mattress over it. Every movement made presented a loud spring squeak. I could hear the beds in other beds in the hotel. Bathroom - Very nice, clean, but oddly a toilet paper roll 12 inches off the ground. Kitchenette - Nice touch but ZERO tools. The refrigerator was not powered on. I found the circuit breaker was in the off position. It took many hours to cool the refrigerator. Room - no tissues anywhere. The smoke detector had a strobe light that in the middle of the night flashed bright enough to disturb my sleep. I draped a sock over it to kill the flashing light.

The hotel seemed very clean and well maintained. The staff was not very friendly, and one of the agents was on a personal call upon my arrival, to which he did not greet me until he hung up the call. Shortly after checking in the maintenance man walked into my room by mistake, and informed me the room I was checked into was not to be rented as he was servicing the shower. He was incredibly kind and helped me get into a new room. The rooms are clean and all of the appliances are brand new and in great condition, the beds aren't the most comfortable but it was fine for a one night stay. Overall I felt very safe here as I was traveling alone, it is in a nice location a ways from the main road, and there is a keypad entry to the elevator and rooms only accessible by key card.

We booked this stay because we were in another hotel and the conditions were so terrible that we had to find another place to stay. The cost difference was not that much and this hotel was excellently maintained and rooms are very accomodating.
