Room was significantly larger than photos suggested. Clean. Not a luxury hotel, but very comfortable. Staff is pleasant and knowledgeable about the area (e.g., restaurants, coffee, etc.).

We had a great stay at Basecamp Boulder. The staff were so sweet and always happy to help. The area around the hotel was ideal. We followed a few of the recommendations they gave us for restaurants and coffee shops in the area and it truly made our stay in Boulder amazing. The room itself was really clean and worked for us great. Highly recommend staying here.

It’s a motel. They told me they would be at the front desk till 11. I got there at 10;45! and the doors were locked. Not good communication. The room was fine—ordinary. But the coffee was this weird pour-over that yielded brown colored piss water. Please. Get regular coffee as in every other normal motel. The saving grace? Jon, at the desk in the morning. Friendly, helpful, with great recommendations for breakfast. At $168/ night, still. More than a bit overpriced.

We have something for everyone, and I am sorry you were dissatisfied that our desk closed 15 minutes early after ensuring all guests had instructions for late check in, I was actually the one who assisted you and reopened our lobby for you at 11pm. Our Kuju coffee, Basecamp Blend is also really amazing if you follow the instructions on the package. I hope you decide to come back and we will continue to provide you with great service!

Very nicely done, the room was clean and the ameneties seemed very nice (although we didn't have much time to use them unfortunately!). Staff members were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

The Basecamp Boulder is a gem. We had always wanted to stay so this visit to see our son, we stayed for 3 days. The staff is so eager to help in any way they can. They have a darling lobby cafe with espresso coffees ,light snacks, fruit, beer and wine, water. Fire pits and lounging areas outside are super cool. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna everyday. This location cannot be beat. We walked to Pearl St and campus, the Hill. The management team is fabulous. The rooms are comfy with very nice bedding. Love it. We will be back soon!

Needs some work with Customer Service
So the hotel was fine and clean but there was an issue at check in. Our flight arrived late, we gave them notice that we would be arriving late and so they texted late check in instructions for a lock box since the office would be closed. Upon arrival around 11/1130 we tried the key in the lockbox and it didn’t work, it was the wrong key. Totally understand that mistakes happen, but when we called the emergency number the guy on the other end gave us a hard time about calling him so late and was upset because he had to drive 20 minutes to let us into a room. What the? For that reason I’m giving 3 stars.

We checked the cameras and saw the desk attendant invited you inside while he made keys, was courteous, and also waited for you to get inside the room. We will ensure our staff is trained properly on our late check in process to insure this does not happen in the future.

Hotel staff was amazing and helpful and catered to all our needs, they have a very good sauna and hot tub and fun amenities. The hotel is in the perfect location to travel between all your needs.

Despite staying 8 nights we got the smallest room with no frig, no coffee maker and only one sink. My daughter’s room had much more space including a double sink. Location near Pearl St and bar is nice Sink needed fixing. Thermostat didn’t function correctly

We loved this place; beds were comfortable, the people were nice, and the price was right. However, our neighbors were super loud. The heater was broken and they gave us a space heater, which is great, but I was worried about safety. The TV also didn't work and the drapes were not working. I might have gotten the unlucky room.

10/10, 5 stars all the way. We absolutely loved Basecamp. Thanks to a fortunate turn of events (and their sweet, awesome staff) we got the camping-themed room which blew our minds. The recreational areas where even better than expected, and we made sure we used all of it (hot tub, ping pong, coloring, climbing wall…) and the location was perfect. Looking forward to coming back in the spring or summer to make use of the coolers and other fun stuff they have for guests.

I liked the outdoor adventure theme in the renovation and decor of Basecamp Colorado. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only real negative is that the wall unit necessary for heat (or AC, if it were hot out) was so loud, we couldn't leave it running overnight. So we heated our room to be very warm then turned it off overnight so that we could sleep!

Comfy home base for Boulder visits
This is a no-frills, but very comfy and convenient home base for visits to Boulder. I stay here almost every year. The staff are always super helpful and friendly. Rooms could use a little paint refresh, but are adorable.

The staff was awesome and outdoor facilities such as fire pit, TV room, coffee bar, etc are really nice touches. It's extremely convenient to walk to Pearl Street, CU Boulder, and a lot of stores and restaurants. My room was on the first floor and we had a very noisy family above us. It sounded like they were lifting weights at 2:00 in the morning. I did tell the staff the next day and they must have said something. Our room smelled really musty/ mildew , if my daughter who has asthma would have stayed in it she probably would have an asthma attack. A few things didn't work in the room properly , but to be fair we didn't complain. Another downside of staying on the first floor is there are only blackout shades and nothing else , so if you want to open your windows everyone can look straight into your room.
