Perfect!!!
Sean was the best host. So helpful. He suggested dinner at a great pub in town. The house was clean and well stocked - even some food in the kitchen. The garden was charming. Absolutely no complaints at all. Will definitely return if we return to this part of England.

Outstanding
The property, and the owner, Sean, were truly outstanding. The house is clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Modern high-end appliances, even an electric car charger! The location is superb, great walking to be had in any direction. Sean stopped by a couple of times to check that everything was going well. Will definitely be booking here again

This is a great spot for walking, as well as day trips throughout the Cotswolds. The village is very attractive with many choices for eating out and a quick walk from the house. A nice private patio for eating outside in the back.

Sean was a terrific host and the property was great. Only 2 of us in this 3BR home so we got to spread out. Wood fire was wonderful and wood provided. Lots of bits and bobs in the kitchen and we really appreciated being able to make breakfast each day. Convenient to town and the Rococo Gardens (5min walk to both) as well as the bus to Stroud. Lots of flyers provided and we chose a local walk from one of them. Highly recommend! We fell in love with Painswick and Sean made the experience even better.

Beautifully presented and cosy holiday home
The house was perfectly situated for our short stay on the edge of the Cotswolds, with gorgeous walks starting from the doorstep and within easy reach, by car, of other stunning villages and towns. Number 16 was beautifully presented and had everything we needed. The welcome was warm and our hosts even left some thoughtful supplies to get our stay off to a scrummy start. Thank you.

The highlight of our holiday in England! The house was quiet, warm, and absolutely perfect in both atmosphere and location. The living room in particular was amazing, with its stylish decor, comfortable couches, and wood fire. The kitchen was generously stocked, with breakfast provisions kindly supplied. The host was friendly, helpful and honestly had thought of everything.

Very comfortable stay in a beautiful village. Plenty of things to do and see in the area, but with all the comfort and facilities at the house and garden , (with Netflix etc!) it does not matter, whatever the weather, it's a great location.

The perfect house in the perfect location!
This is a lovely house in one of the prettiest Cotswolds towns. The owners live next door and couldn’t be more helpful. The welcome groceries were a lovely surprise and the kitchen is well stocked. The beds are really comfortable and there are a lot of thoughtful extras in the house, including charger plugs. We will definitely return!

Perfect family vacation
We really enjoyed our stay. Sean was a very accommodating and caring host. The house was very clean with a well-equipped kitchen. We were pleasantly surprised with fresh croissants, a selection of English teas and jams and basic staples in the fridge upon our arrival – a lovely welcoming touche. The beautifully decorated house is in a perfect location with a nice backyard garden full of flowers. Everything was perfect upon arrival and Sean was very helpful throughout our stay. The only suggestion is to add some clothing storage/hanging options in the two bedrooms. If you travel with elderly people (like we did), please consider steep steps to the second floor and the overall hilly location of Painswick. Overall, it was a very convenient and pleasant stay. Highly recommended! Thank you Sean!

beautiful property
House was immaculate and well stocked with breakfast items. Decor was lovely and Sean had clearly put a lot of effort into it. Communication with him was easy as on hand next door. Painswick is a lovely village and a good location to explore a fair bit of the Cotswolds. We are 3 ladies of a certain age and as mentioned in a previous review a bit of clothes hanging of some sort in all the bedrooms would have been useful but did not affect our stay as plenty of wardrobe space in the main bedroom that we were able to share. Would definitely stay here again if in the area

Right on the Cotswolds Way for hiking. Cute town too, plus a golf course, all within walking distance. Appreciated very much the breakfast food supplied as well, very nice of the host. Having a washer/dryer made things much easier for us, able to pack light. Highly recommend this property!

Beautifully presented house with everything we needed for our 2 night stay. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the fixtures and fittings and it was absolutely spotless. Lovely accommodation
Enjoyed our stay at painswick, a very pretty village. The accommodation was very comfortable with good parking. Extremely clean and well kept by Sean who we met on arrival. He was very helpful and explained all details of the accommodation, heating, recycling etc. We are three ladies of a certain age and the only suggestion we would make is to have some sort of wardrobe or clothes hanging area in the second and third bedroom for convenience. Otherwise we could not fault the accommodation and would highly recommend it.
