River view is a 1 bed self catering first floor holiday apartment in Horning , 10 mins from Wroxham, yards from the rivers edge on the Norfolk Broads. The village has shops and cafes, 3 pubs and several restaurants.The views from the living room are panoramic ,great for watching the boats going by .There is boat hire near by and plenty of places to fish.Norwich is 11 miles away and the beach is 10 miles , there’s beautiful Blickling Hall ,Hoveton Gardens to visit .The New inn is 50 yds away. Parking is restricted outside the flat it’s ok for unloading your car. There’s plenty of free parking Around the village we usually recommend the village hall as it’s free and the steps to it are opposite the flat . There is a key safe by the front door, we will give you the key code 48 hours before your stay thanks Dawn.

Relaxing short break
We really enjoyed the stay at this property,very clean and comfortable also enjoyed watching the boats along the river whilst having breakfast,three pubs within walking distance and well situated for travelling around the area will definitely return in the future.

Just Right
We found the upstairs apartment to be just right for us, what more can I say. a) A view of the river from the apartment. b) Watching or the "newbies" trying to come along side and more their boats (which by the way is hilarious) c) A shop at the end of the road which sells everything you'll need. d. Oh ........ and I nearly forgot to mention, two pubs within easy reach ........ one winch is right next door ..... perfect.

A really excellent small flat ideal for us as a couple.
We know Horning and have a boat there. We didn't know this property, and found it extremely well situated, and comfortable, with very good river views (including of our boat across the river!). Everything was in good condition, comfortable and with a well-equipped kitchen. We had very good communication with the owner. .

TBH expectations were not to high having known the area pretty well, but as the saying goes don't judge a book by its cover, the apartment was spotlessly clean with better than expected views of the river and New Inn beer garden area, very comfy bed and good shower alway a plus! Will definitely be back!

This was a perfect location for our staycation, the apartment was well equipped and comfortable, lovely river views and walking distance to to all we needed, pub next door, shop close by, we will definitely stay here again, an extremely chilled weekend, loved walking round exploring Horning and meeting with some lovely locals that we call friends.

Lovely apartment with great views. Handy facilities, especially the pub next door. Friendly locals and atmosphere is a smashing village. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the lack of parking when nearby spaces weren’t available. It was just inconvenient.

Having had to cancel two years ago due to the pandemic I was looking forward to staying here and it didn’t disappoint. The apartment is spacious and modern with everything you will need for a comfortable stay, it’s spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and a decent powerful shower. There’s a great view over the river and the beer garden of the pub next door. It’s ideally situated in the middle of horning and close to all the amenities. Had a really enjoyable stay and would recommend it highly.

Lovely short stay in Horning
Stayed for 3 nights at this great flat. Has everything you need and more with lovely views over the river. We were in the area to see a band play on the Southern Comfort steamer on the Broads - an unforgettable experience. Also visited Cromer and Sheringham which are close by.

Great little place
The property was exactly as advertised and perfect for our needs. It was spotlessly clean. plenty of space for 2 people. everything we needed was there. Communication with Dawn, the host, was quick, easy and helpful. Lots of hanging space and drawers, more than we needed for the 4 nights we were there. Good views of the river, always something going on to look at. With 3 pubs, a nice fish restaurant and a brilliant (give it a try) deli/cafe, all within walking distance we were never short of places to eat. There is a Chinese takeaway, which we used once, it is OK. It is easy to get to Norwich or the coast from the property and there are lots of interesting places to visit . If doing Norwich use the Park and Ride scheme, so easy Boat hire is available in the village but if you just want an hour or so then try the next village Hoveton for short hires. This property provided just the break we needed and we fell lucky with the weather warm and sunny every day, that just made it all near perfect.

Stayed for 3 nights and wish it was longer. Cottage was lovely and clean and had everything you wanted. View was stunning and a lovely pub right on the doorstep. Good communication with owners who are very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely apartment, stunning views
Location is outstanding, and apartment is in grand shape, recently refurbished, and well equiped. Previous occupiers had smoked (in breach of rules) but smell receded over our stay. A little noise from pub next door but not bad and its a nice pub. Great fun watching all the boat hires trying to park their boats ;-) Chineese takeaway next door and we got supplies in from the Roys suppermarket in Wroxham. Please be aware that their is NO onsite parking, contrary to Hotels.com advert. There is on street parking available if you are lucky but limited to 30 minutes except overnight. There is free parking available up some steep steps but I would not want to leave my car there overnight, so a bit of shunting involved. Note landlord is clear about this, its a hotels.com advertising issue. Have to say it was a minor annoyance for us in what was a lovery location but might be more of an issue for others.

Excellent apartment in a lovely little village setting.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is perfect for a couple with fabulous views over the Broads. We had everything we needed and were within easy reach of the coast as well as other amenities. Great chippy in Wroxham! (about 10min drive) Points to consider: no parking outside the property but there is free parking at the village hall. You will have negotiate steep steps to get back down to the property or walk back the long way round. You will need to book to go everywhere, even the local pub next door! The local fish restaurant was booked up for the whole week! We spent our wedding anniversary eating fish and chips on the banks of the Broads - very romantic… Would certainly stay again.
