Eagle Pines: Rare, Beautiful North Shore of Gull Lake

Beautiful 4 bedroom cabin on the North shore of Gull Lake near Grand View Lodge in Nisswa. One of two cabins sharing 100 ft of sandy beach. The cabin is a short walk from the beach with beach access including Adirondack chairs and a firepit. Quiet getaway. Minutes from championship golf, bike trails, casual and fine dining, the "Shops of Nisswa," and the famous Chocolate Ox, the area's best ice cream and candy store. Lots of other amenities. Perfect for families, children welcome. Pets welcome for additional fee. Boat lift available for an extra fee of $75 per stay. Preference given to a minimum stay of 7 days in the summer.

Girls week
This stay overall was great spacious, nice to each have their own bathroom. It does not sit on the lake. There is a home that obstructs the view in front of it but it is a short distance to walk to the beach. Location is very convenient the negatives were the bathtubs a little high for the elderly to get in the shower. The downstairs bathroom with the shower, toilet seat is extremely loose and is it safety hazard and should be replaced ASAP. And the only other thing is I’d check with the housekeeping crew about cleaning the oven. It was disgusting definitely hadn’t been cleaned for a while. Also, the The doors on the deck one the screen is off the track, the other one the handle has starting to pull out and needs to be repaired. Even with the small items that need some attention, the stay was good. Thank you.

Just Okay
The location of this cabin was perfect for our group of 8 to attend a wedding in Brainerd. We loved that the bedrooms had a variety of set-ups so that single people and couples could all have beds as necessary. The lake was beautiful and a grocery store/ gas was easily accessible. The bathrooms were old, but not dirty. Our biggest problem was the kitchen. We had to pre-wash every dish before we used it, because it seemed like most had been put away dirty. We pre-heated the oven and the entire kitchen filled with smoke, from an oven that seemed to have not been cleaned in a while. We couldn't use it as the smell was terrible. If you're not planning to cook in the kitchen and just enjoy the scenery, this is a great place to stay! But one of the big benefits for us of renting a house is the ability to cook for ourselves. Otherwise, we could have just found a hotel.

Great value. Great spot.
Lovely spot.not exactly ON the lake. Gotta walk thru yard of owner but they let you use their beachfront. Great quiet spot. Lots ospace. Beautifully maintained. Owners very friendly and responsive. Close to everything you need. Only drawback: Wasn’t able to use the shower tub in the upstairs bathroom. Just needs shower curtain and mount the hand held shower nozzle and it would be good to go. Had to share the master bath with a guest. Would come back.

Gull Lake Getaway
We enjoyed our stay on Gull Lake. Our hostess Carolyn Jones was wonderful to work with. I had hoped to be right on the beach, but this did include access to the beach and use of a boat lft. It was a great location with Grandview within walking distance.

It was a great location on Gull Lake. Beautiful area and very clean cabin. The kitchen was well supplied. The lake is hard to see from the cabin and the beach was not well kept. We definitely would stay there again.

Gull Lake Getaway
We spent 4 nights at this wonderful cabin located within walking distance to Grandview. We had sole access to a dock and beach for the entire stay. With the 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms we had more than enough room for our family. Would be perfect for multiple families or larger families. Kitchen/great room was the perfect place for the whole family to hang.

MAGICAL UP NORTH FEEL
Beautiful log home nestled in the trees on a quiet street. This property had all the amenities you could possibly need. Perfect place for a family get away near great shopping, restaurants and Grandview Lodge. Very efficient check in. Management is now aware of need for a deep clean and responded right away when I emailed & thanked me. Would definitely consider renting this property again in the future.

Great Stay for a Group of People
I would recommend this property to stay at. Easy to communicate with the PM and everything worked smoothly. We had 8 in our group and it slept very well and was laid out well for a group of that setting. It doesn't really have a view of the lake as its behind another hours but you still have beach and lift access. The stay hit the mark for what we were looking for and I do recommend staying here.

Loved our time here!
The cabin was clean, spacious, and lovely! Worked great for our weekend to reconnect with three generations. My 3 year old daughter loved riding her bike in the driveway and taking the short walk to the beach. The short walk to Grandview lodge was great for an early morning stroller walk. Perfect weekend getaway, has easy access to lakefront but NOT on lakefront
Location was central to lots of Gull Lake amenities: lake, golf, restaurants, etc. Cabin was perfect for a group ~10. Property is not lake front as pictures might suggest but it has a short path leading to the lake. Clean property, plenty of parking, check in process was easy, good sized deck and beach to relax on. Other than not being beachfront, it exceeded my expectation!

Renters be aware that this cabin is NOT waterfront, but set back behind a very large lake home. The photos are very misleading. There is no lake view from the cabin either. To get to the lake you have to take a walking path around the side of the large lake home. The cabin itself is comfortable and clean. However, we would not rent here again as our expectation from the photos and information at the time of booking was that this was a waterfront cabin with a nice beach.

Gull Lake Rental Home
Pros: House is decent size with ample space for 6-8 people. Location is great and next to many things to do in close proximity. Cons: We expected a place on the lake. The photos are not accurate on this listing. They show a view from the patio that appears you are close to the lake. This photo is NOT of the house for rent. There are 2 homes on the property. You can not see the lake from the home they rent, yet the photos give the impression you have a nice a beach, patio, dock, and boat lift out your back door. I mentioned to the owner they were false advertising. They stated they would change this. I see they still have not made the changes in their advertising. Would not rent this place again.

Great Cabin
