This hotel was specifically booked due to advertisement of pool and hot tub, but neither were available during our stay. After a long day of driving, we were very interested in relaxing in a hot tub. They should advocate any renovations or other deficiencies during the booking process.

The front desk staff were excellent. The breakfast is generous. This has become our go-to hotel for our visits to Brattleboro. It is also next door to Panda North, an excellent Chinese restaurant!

Symphonie was helpful, kind and attentive. We didn’t stay due to advising a pool and hot tub but it was closed for renovations. She offered to help and look for another hotel, was sweet to my daughter. And over all someone I would want to work for me.

My children and I were looking forward to checking into the hotel and change into our bathing suits to go swimming. Needless to say, we were VERY disappointed when we went down to the pool door and it would not open. We inquired at the front desk and were quickly told "It's been closed since August" with no additional explanation or care. I chose this hotel because it had a pool and I knew my kids would enjoy swimming. What a disappointment.

Dogs barking (all night whe they went out for dinner - and then again in the am when owners went down for breakfast) for the first night. 2nd night was better. But wow. No pool, telephone was out of commission. Things could've been better.

Staff was very nice. Free cookies at reception, good free breakfast. Clean room and very comfortable bed. Nicer than some much more expensive places we have stayed in.

The hotel was fine disappointed that the pool and the hot tub was not available to use. Plus they never came to clean our room or bring us clean towels. We had to call for towels that evening.

Water leaked like a waterfall from the ceiling, completely drenching the pull out couch. The pool was also closed for renovations, no conditioner in the the shower and the tub was brown with dirt I had to clean off.

One of the front desk staff jumped our car when the battery went dead, which was both kind and a big help! Very nice people and solid Vermonters! Oh yeah, the breakfast was solid!

Rolling into bed
Our stay was good. The room was clean. The only objection is the height of the mattress. For your “older” guests, climbing up onto that high mattress with “old” knees is painful. Unfortunately, it seems all hotels use the same type of mattress, so we are rolling into bed. Otherwise, our stay was great, from check-in to breakfast. Thank you for making our stay pleasant.

We picked this hotel because it had a hot tub. Even paid more than I would have. We get there to find out the pool and hot tub were not available under construction.

We were not told that there is a homeless shelter right next door. We would not have stayed there if we knew. We ended up going to Bennington. The charge is under dispute, but I highly doubt anything will get done Expedia We did NOT stay here, and so should NOT have to pay. Brattleboro is NOT a safe area, you are being advised of this if you read it.

There was no shower gel - I was already in the shower and had to wash with shampoo!!!The hair dryer was really poor(hardly any power)even on high-it worked but needs to be replaced

Came for one night and it was close to all the places we wanted to see- the Creamery Bridge, Grafton cheese Company, Madame Sherri park, and Green River Covered Bridge. Jolene was wonderful at the Hotel.

Horrible stay
First arrival there were homeless people sleeping on the grass and we couldn’t check I. Till after 4 pm. We arrived at the room and the fridge was flooded and my food that I put in it got ruined. The bathroom wallpaper is peeling and the doors sledges are filthy! There was no food for the breakfast at 8:55 and it took 30 minutes to bring food out the lines were so backed up and the coffee also ran out while we were waiting. Staff could care less when approached. Oh yes and the pool which is the reason we came here is not in service.
