Family Get Away
My family and I loved staying here!! The home was very clean and spacious for our group of 14. What really awed us was the outdoor area. The deck, the bar area, all of the seating areas, the fire pit, and of course the beautiful gardens and flowers were perfect! The view of the mountains and the privacy were wonderful.

I have been reluctant to provide feedback on this unit, but since you insist... the place has "good bones", but is in serious need of some TLC. The inside of the dishwasher was pretty tough, in need of a good cleaning on its own and the silverware tray had holes in it reducing its capacity and making it difficult to use. The coffee maker leaked every time we made a pot. The general outfit of the kitchen was fair at best, as though a lot of "hand-me-downs" were donated for mixing bowls, pots & pans, utensils and the like. Several members of my party complained that mattresses needed replacing. The master bed shower door was not installed correctly and the shower head looks like it's 50 years old. All the windows needed a good cleaning. Me and my ski club have been taking an annual ski trip for 24 years, the only year we didn't go was 2021 due to COVID. We've been all over the US & Canada, stay somewhere different every year and we always stay in a nice place, often times through VRBO. We are 6 - 8 men, so we require a lot of beds and bathrooms and now there we're getting older, a Jacuzzi is a must after a day of skiing. For the money we spent, Moose Lodge simply did not measure up.

Great house, great location
Had a great family ski weekend with 15pp including young kids. Place was perfectly situated for Bretton Woods, super close, but also quiet and relaxing property. Would love to have seen it in the summer and make use of the outside BBQ. Great communication - would def rent again and highly recommend.

Great Location - some things could be improved
This was a terrific location and a nice property. There were a couple disappointing issues that I'd like to mention for other travelers 1) the TV is based on internet access and the internet access was unreliable which caused multiple disappointing evenings struggling to get the tv to work. 2) we loved having our dog with us but she was attacked and bitten by the owner's dog which was able to run free even while we always had our dog on leash. 3) we were without a dishwasher for the entire week of our stay which was very inconvenient while having a large family present and eating in all but one night.

Beautiful house and property!
We just stayed four 4 nights. Wish it was longer. The house had everything we needed. Location was awesome for snowboarding and the hot tub always makes the trip. Even had a fire and used the outdoor kitchen. Went for a nice walk on the trails with Lucy the resident dog who is adorable. Will bring her some treats next time. The on site Gentleman that takes care of the property was so nice. I forget his name. But he was great! Property management was also so so helpful. Rachael was awesome ! We will definitely like to book again next year!

Hard to beat this property
A very impressive and private property. House was bigger than I anticipated, so much room and places to sleep. The lot is awesome big private yard, private trail down to the river. 4 minutes drive to Omni resort golf course. Just a very impressive place.

We spent the weekend here for the 4th, plenty of room for everybody with amazing views and lots of land to explore. Check in was easy and we had no issues. We had a large group and this place provided us with great space and a great time!

Great family vacation home!
We are frequent travelers/renters and have never stayed in a cleaner rental property! The online description was exactly what we found and we were more than pleased. The location was ideal, easy access, great communication with hosts and an overall A++ experience.

Gorgeous Property
Our family was able to spend the Labor Day weekend at this spectacular home. The grounds are amazing -- it feels completely private and you have wilderness just beyond the front yard area. There are trails to the beautiful river and places to float and wade. The property is VERY conveniently located -- it feels secluded but is close to restaurants, hiking, Bretton Woods and Mount Washington. Pretty perfect. The front garden is a showpiece - a water area surrounded by beautiful landscaping. grill and fire pit. The inside of the house was clean, well appointed and very cozy and friendly. We will be back!

We really appreciate your kind words! It's a very unique property and we try to constantly improve on it. New granite counter tops were just ordered, and we are working with a landscape designer on a plan to further build out the outdoor space and make the front garden even better. Yes, it's been a very wet Spring following a very snowy winter which has led to a record number of bugs! It's starting to get better but we always recommend bug spray - we do not use pesticides for ecological reasons! On the plus side, the fireflies are putting on a tremendous show at night. :) Thank you Stacey and we look forward to your next visit!

Awesome place! Great location!
Amazing time skiing at Bretton Woods and staying at the Moose Lodge. House was conveniently located 3 minutes away from the mountain and had absolutely everything we needed including lots of space and a great setup as the kids were able to all bunk up downstairs . Alex and Aaron were great hosts and very quick responding to questions during our stay. Would definitely stay again!

The Lodge was everything and more than we expected from the information given us.
This lodge was perfect for our three families to meet and enjoy Thanksgiving together. The accomendations were perfect for adults as well as the young ones. The kitchen was well equipped , the heating was perfect ( and it was in single digits) , the owners were so helpful when we needed information and the views were absolutely beautiful! We can’t wait to return in a different season .

Had a great time! The house was spacious and property beautiful. Nature is all around you, from the view of Mt. Washington right off the patio, to the walking trails bringing you to a river right on the property. The owners were very helpful and responded quickly to questions. Would highly recommend.

My family really enjoyed our staying at your lodge, we had a great time together there. The house is very spacious, we suggest more lights outside patio and bbq area. The upstairs bathrooms are a little rusty and it would be nice to have more house games. Thank you for your welcome greeting and all the detailed informations. Much appreciated! It was great to hear you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the feedback on the patio lights. We have been trying to balance tasteful landscape lighting that is bright enough to enjoy the outdoors while not overwhelming the ambiance with excessive brightness; we will think of a way to increase lighting without making it annoyingly bright. Additionally, I will follow up to see if you are able to provide more details on the "bathrooms being rusty." We just completely replaced the fixtures in the upstairs bathrooms last month, so we are not entirely sure where you may have seen rust! On the house games front - we actually just threw away a dozen or so games because over time pieces have gone missing or been damaged, so we will get some more ASAP! You were great guests and we really appreciate your feedback, it's very helpful!

Heaven on earth
All I can say is WOW !!! The Moose Lodge was by far the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. They say in real estate location is everything,all you need to do is look at the pictures above and you’ll see that’s true here. The house itself is also amazing. Plenty of room for a large group or a family reunion. Very clean,comfortable and designed perfectly. The owners Alex&Aaron are super nice people and we look forward to seeing them again next year. Also saw great fireworks from our deck over the slopes of nearby Bretton Woods. Thanks Tom O

Great location and phenomenal hosts
If you’re looking for a spacious property with proximity to the mountains and Bretton Woods, this is a great find. There is tons of sleeping spots and it’s quite spacious with the second living area in the basement. The kitchen had everything you need to make meals and we were completely satisfied. There was lots of space outdoors to snowshoe right out the door and we didn’t get around to using the fire pit, but it’s super close. Our stay was a group of 9 and we had more than enough space. I’m sure the place can sleep double because there’s futons everywhere. The basement was a bit musty, but we stuck the younger groups down there to sleep and play pool late into the night. The TV options worked great and there’s board games onsite which is really great. What made the stay truly great was the kindness and generosity of the hosts. They answer queries super quick and the went above and beyond to help us on a few separate occasions. On New Year’s Eve we also had a spectacular view of the fireworks at the Mt-Washington right from our living room so that was a super suprise!! We hope to definitely return in the future! Thanks!

A wonderful family retreat
I rented this property as a get away with my children and grandchildren. I was pleasantly surprised because it was more than I expected. The grounds were lovely with a built in kitchen and an outdoor dining table that sat 16. There is a path that goes down to a clean, clear stream which the children loved and after would have a baseball game in the yard. There is a large deck to have cocktails on in the evening while the sun goes down behind the mountains. The veiw was spectacular. We had alot of laughs together; it was a great bonding experience. The owner, Alex, is easy to talk to and very accommodating. I was truly impressed. We look forward to coming back!!!

Amazing property with plenty to do
Our group of 14 friends stayed at the Moose Lodge and had the most perfect weekend! We hung out Friday night in the yard by the fire pit, making s'mores. The new pond was the perfect background noise. On Saturday we went hiking at one of the trails recommended by the owners and then took some floats down to the river. We used the outdoor kitchen for dinner and ate outside at the awesome farm table that fit our whole crew. It was an amazing weekend. The house was perfect - it had plenty of room for us to hang out together in the living room & kitchen and also plenty of bedrooms for people that wandered to bed earlier. The house itself was clean and in perfect condition! The owners were very knowledgeable about the area and were super helpful in giving us ideas about what to do and directions to get anywhere we wanted to go!

Awesome!
The owners of the property were attentive and quick to respond and help. The property itself was everything that was described and more. Great scenery and great trails. The house itself is in great shape and comfortable. I would recommend this property to anyone. So happy we had to chance to stay there.
