Lovely hotel close to everythingPosted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: Central location . Friendly staff. Plenty of nice toiletries . Good shower. Comfortable bed.
Location: Near the markt . Lots of shops all around. Within walking distance of everything .
Lovely quaint hotel. Just far enough out of the way for a bit of peace away from the hustle of this vibrate city. Hotel is very clean and full of old charm, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Wanted to bring the bed home it was very comfortable. Bruges is a beautiful place but can be very expensive eating out .

In Bruges!Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: It's location and it's oldie-worldy feel, you couldn't get a prettier hotel. Almost all of the staff were friendly and very helpful.
Cons: The front receptionist was patronising and unwelcoming. The service at breakfast was dire and extremely over priced for what it was (basic)
Location: Location is perfect as everything is on your door-step.
If I ever went back to Bruges, this is the hotel I would stay in. It was perfectly located right in town, just around the corner from the Belfry. It was absolutely beautiful, the rooms as quaint and pretty as can be. The hotel itself is very charming and picturesque sitting right on the river. Many tourists came to take pictures as this is where the film "In Bruges" was filmed. The hotel has it's own restaurant -Maria Van Bourgondie located around the corner (5 min walk) and was extremely delicious and great service.

Beautiful stay in Beautiful BrugesPosted Aug 23, 2014
My husband and I got back from our honeymoon in Bruges and I had to write to say what a little gem this hotel is. Definitely deserves it's "boutique" hotel status, the decor is just lovely. From our first introductions right the way through to our goodbyes, the staff were extremely welcoming and attentive to our every need, and were there to give us recommendations when we needed them. Breakfast was amazing.... champagne to start our day, perfect... And a lovely cooked breakfast and selection of continental food, even waffles freshly made. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is perfect, right on the canal - it must be the most photographed hotel in Bruges and it wasn't till after I booked it that I realised it was used as a location for the film "In Bruges". It is perfect as a base to explore the fantastic things Bruges has to offer, we did a Canal Boat ride, climbed the Belfry, Brewery Tour, Chocostory, amongst other stuff. We will definitely be planning a return trip for our anniversary.

Wow! Amazing Hotel!Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: Central location but tucked away, historic hotel, well-perserved and very clean, friendly staff
Cons: Absolutely nothing! Thank you for a wonderful experience, I wish we stayed longer!
Location: Boat Tour down the canal, Bicyle tour of Bruges, Tour of Brewery
If you are considering this hotel, do yourself a favor and book it! This hotel is absolutely stunning and the hotel staff is so friendly and helpful. They made wonderful reccommendations for lunch and dinner, and helped with reservations. A cab ride from the train station is about 7 Euro to the hotel. The location is tucked away on the canal but very central to everything. The room we had was gorgeous (overlooking the canal) and the bathroom was clean and very large. If you are not bothered by the swans and ducks quacking every so often and the occasional bells ringing, then go for it. This was one of the best experiences my husband and I have had at a hotel overseas!

Thank you Philipe!Posted Jun 17, 2014
The hotel was lovely. We were disappointed that breakfast wasn't included and at approx 20 euros each thought it expensive. We also missed having the facilities to make tea or coffee as no kettle etc and had to use room service. All was redeemed however. We had prebooked an all day battlefield tour and the tour guide was taken into hospital and cancelled at the last moment. The hotel staff made a big effort to rebook us with someone else and managed to get us a lovely guide at the last minute. Thank you to Phillipe. The consierge who was so helpful and made all the arrangements and phone calls for us and also gave us free coffee. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I had a free night to spend in Brugge, and as a fan of the film "In Brugge" I searched for this hotel specifically, and I'm glad I did. Apart from seeing many familiar sights from the film, the hotel itself is phenomenal. I will definitely stay here again
