The room was small and furniture is old. The shower drain was not working so I changed the room. The view from the window is sad.

It was a little difficult to find the entrance the first time for check in, but once we found it, it was easy. The staff were very friendly and were on hand 24/7 to help with any issues. Room was clean and tidy and had everything we required. Would definitely stay here again.

We woke up at 12:30am to a man unlocking our door and coming inside, I screamed and he left. My partner went to reception to tell them and the man working said sorry, it was him looking for a remote and he didn’t think anyone was in the room. This was beyond a terrible experience. To add, there was no soap - just an empty bottle.

It's okay for the price
It's in old palace. The common areas are large open empty areas. Super nice staff and managers! Our room was comfortable even though photos showed an elevator you have to climb alot of steps so be prepared and able to do so. It's walking distance to see some areas. Our shower was difficult to use because the main shower head didn't put out water pressure and the hand held had to be held to be used because it's holder was broken.

We loved staying here - amazing value for money. The hotel is in a convenient location near the river and a short walk to bars/shops/transport. The room we had was gorgeous with a lovely balcony view, bed was really comfy and we even had Prosecco as a welcome gift! This hotel is partnered with a hostel which meant we could take advantage of the hostel activities and deals for tourist activities. Would definitely recommend!

Fabulous Giselle Vintage
the trip was a weekend trip from Vienna, it was our first time to see Budapest. the hotel is right in the city center, everything is walkable, near the metro station Astoria. hotel was clean, neat and its the mezzanine of an old pretty building.

Pension style hotel with European character located within a vintage building near shopping, restaurants, Danube, walkable and easy tram access to museums and sites of interest, friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for our needs! The restoration of this great bulding is awesome and having the privilege to sleep in a such historical place is quit cool. The view from our balcon was speechless :) However, the common area such as entrance, hall and elevator are still need some care.

One of the nice places. Once you enter the historical building you may feel a bit of hesitation about the room. But once you will go to the room and see how it’s organized and well prepared, you will really love it. The staff are so nice.

This place was great! It was a little hard to find (the door isn't obvious, it's a little hidden) and you need a code to get in, which I didn't know beforehand. Thank goodness another couple was going in before me. The security is great; it's impossible to access hallways with rooms if you don't have a key. It was in a really great location, lots of good food spots nearby and super close to the Danube. The room was beautiful and mostly quiet. I did have trouble getting the rain shower to work, but that's really the only issue I had. Staff was super nice and very helpful. And the shuttle they arranged for me to get to the airport was a great experience. The guy, Csaba, was very nice and very courteous and helpful.

Everything was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is located in a beautiful historical building, it is very well-kept and clean. The staff was very polite and helpful. Benjamin, the young man who checked me in was welcoming and informative, even recommending places to visit in the area, which was very appreciated. The room was immaculate and provided a great view of the other historical buildings across the street. I have nothing negative to say, the experience was nothing short of perfect and I'll be visiting again when I can.

The space is indeed very classy, with delightful views of the city below. Everything in the city center is within a few minutes' stroll, with easy access to public transportation, and the receptionists were super helpful. The cleaning was good also other facilities. The location was superb as eateries and supermarkets are just few secs away. had a great experience.

The location of this hotel is great, centrally located to many restaurants and coffee shops. The staff was so kind and helpful. Our room was ready as soon as we got to the hotel. The room was big, clean and beautiful.

It's located in an old refurbished royal mansion on the top floor.The room is very elegant, with beautiful views to the city. Everything in the city centre is in a walking distance a few minutes away, with very easy access to the public transportation and the receptionists were very helpful

Wonderful staff and a very unique place. Finding it was tricky but that added to the unique quality. One major issue no coffee maker in room. Spoke to manager who welcomed feedback and passed along to owner. Place just opened up as a hotel 2 weeks prior, which explains the no one room coffee maker issue. Pillows were also really really dense/bulky, thankfully we brought our own pillows so we were ok. Manager also aware and working on getting better ones. Once those 2 things get sorted out, this place will be an amazing and super unique place to stay! Close to everything including bridge to walk to otter dude of town.

Great affordable stay in Budapest
Probably one of the best stays in Budapest. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is fluent in English and very helpful, kind and service minded! I have been staying there twice now and will certainly stay there several more times. I can really recommend this place.
