This place was a mess. We pay $77.64 for a night and it was a nightmare. This place was dirty. The air condition has a problem and was making noises and not working, they tell us that they don’t have another room available for us to move in. The cabinet has cigarette aches inside. The room that they assigned us was very different from the one of the pictures. The host told us to close the door of the room well. We felt scare about that. Then he was offering transportation for the airport in a very insistent manner, we say no, and he continue offering. The pillow cases has marks of stain. The bed was super hard, and the room smells cigarette. I don’t know how this place has a rating of 3 stars in Orbitz. This place is not worth 75$ a night. We do not recommend this place.

Serviceable hotel in heart of the city
Hotel Tucumán is a no-frills, basic hotel located in a very busy area of the microcenter. The service is adequate and the amenities are fully provided. My only complaint with the hotel is that as with other South American hotels, the expectation to leave one’s room key at the desk is outmoded & not reassuring. It may have something to do with the aged building it resides in. But it’s a custom that should be put to pasture.

No wired internet connections.
I went to this hotel because the electricity and internet were out in my home. I understood from the description that there was wired internet connections in the rooms. My job requires that I have a wired connection for my daily meetings. The room provided did not have a connection and the desk did not in any way try to accommodate my needs.

An aging gem
An aging hotel with some charm. Some rooms are quieter than others; very few have room darkening blinds. Lots of hot water (a must!) and the breakfast is quite good.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Very old building, old towels and bed sheets. Noisy, cleaners talking loud early in the morning in the hallways.No air conditioned. Broken fan and tv would not turn on. STay away

It was OK for the price but need a Reno of the entire hotel. Better mattress/ toiletry and some working a/c. One or two of them service desk persons were great and the others not so.

Value accomodation in Buenos Aires
Our stay was better than expected after some pretty shocking reviews. The room was renovated and clean. However, the property itself was showing signs of age (old elevators). Note, the breakfast wasn't great - a lot of cheap items & stale bread, juice undrinkable, disgusting sweet fruit salad. Luckily, the only saving grace was the ham & cheese (only edible thing on the buffet). The air-con also automatically turned off every 15 minutes. In saying all this, we felt like it was good value for money as it was a good price and the room was clean & comfortable - all in all, we would return.

Was a convenient place for us to stay, with easy enough access to Puerto Madero and San Telmo. Staff were helpful. But unfortunately the room smelt a little of stale cigarettes. Apart from that it was a pleasant and easy stay. I would recommend to a friend who was looking for a cheap, central place in BA.

Facilities were quite lacking, not very clean and the staff claimed we had not paid for our stay when in fact everything was in order as settled by Expedia. Later they offered a late check out and a complimentary breakfast as compensation but the damage was done. The pictures are NOT representative of what you will find there.

The place is OK if you are travelling on a budget and don't plan to spend much time at the hotel room. Location is great, but the hotel infrastructure looks much better in the photos than "in the flesh".

Bad Hotel, don't look at the pictures as they don't reflect the reality of the rooms! Bathroom didn't have a light, it's not that the bulb was burned, didn't have an option for light!

Buenos Aires is a lively city and worth visiting. Word of warning regarding pickpockets. When we visited congress plaza unknowingly squirted with a dirty liquid. After a little while approached by what appeared to be a respectable well dressed man who produces a bottle of water and tissues to try and clean you off. In the process tries to distract you by constantly moving around you. Luckily we were aware of this scam and he left and got into a waiting car.

El hotel está en una zona muy sola y peligrosa. Mucho indigente. Si bien es muy económico, es hotel de 2 estrellas. Sabanas sucias (manchadas). Llegamos de noche y todo cerrado alrededor. De hecho no nos quedamos a dormir. Nos fuimos a otro hotel incluso con este ya pagado. Lo único bueno fue el personal del Hotel muy amable, servicial y nos apoyó para podernos mover a otro hotel.

Rente este hotel porque ofrece estacionamiento y cuando llegas no tienen disponibilidad, con la excusa que solo tienen lugar para 5 carros. El resto está bien! En relación al precio, está bien! Desayuno muy completo
