Poor maintenance -- NOT a four-star hotelPosted Apr 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were very dissatisfied with our stay. Although the location is excellent and the staff friendly, this is not a real 4-star hotel. Maintenance/furnishings--from the malfunctioning air conditioning unit to missing hairdryers and screws holding bathroom amenities to a lack of drawers/shelving to put our clothes--was among the worst I've experienced at this level of hotel. Repeated--over 4 days--requests to fix the AC unit or move us went unheeded and even denied, although the staff that did come to our room recognized the AC was not working. I'm trying to get compensated for the poor condition of our room.

Nice hotel. Was able to get anywhere I needed to get to by cab. Cab service was great. I also did a lot of walking. I felt very safe.

Pros: The staff because they do their best to keep you happy.
Cons: Breakfast, Create a Bulletin Board or have a print out about the BA (day and night activities)
Location: The location is good and close to everything. I love the area which is safe and clean.
I stayed in this hotel for 10 days and the hotel staff are great and very friendly but the hotel have several opportunities to improve to be a five star hotel. 1. Breakfast- it was very weak and the room for breakfast was very small. I remember to take the breakfast to my room because not chairs were available because the hotel was full. 2. BA Daily/Weekly Activities: I suggested to the staff to prepare a bulletin board for all the activities in BA because every day I have to ask about what's going on in towm. I missed the Free Museum Night because nobody told me about it. 3. The Tango Show (Sabor a Tango) it was included in the package. OMG!!! What a nightmare!!! The location is one of the worse in BA. Juan (at the frint desk) did the reservation for me and my friend and when we get into the place we told them that we want to pay the dinner because we already knew that the dinner was not included. They gave us a hard time which took an hour until we took the desicion to leave the place and missed the show. I won't recommend Sabor a Tango. They don't treat us professionally even do we told them that we will pay the dinner. BA is a great place to go and it has a lot of great places to visit and people are very nice.

Nice hotel to stay if you want to be in RecoletaPosted Nov 3, 2013
Pros: It seems to be an old hotel but is well maintained. The staff is helpful and VERY polite.
Cons: The only thing was the bathtub, which was clean and ok, but seemed kind of old and could be renewed.
Location: Near restaurants, 24h convenience store, Coto (supermercado), Floralis Gererica, El Ateneu, the Recoleta cemetery and the Museu de Bellas Artes.
I stayed only one night, so I can't tell much. I needed o catch a flight the next morning at the Aeroparque and this hotel is only 15 to 20 minutes away. However the remis costed almost the same as the one I took to go from Aeroparque to the Microcentro, so next time if I need to be close to the Aeroparque I will look for a hotel even closer.
