Very unhappy with Hotels.com for the misleading pictures regarding this hotel. After my first night, had to fork out an additional £30 for another room which was still awful just slightly bigger. The manager mugged me into buying three tours which he says was on a discount but was 30-40% higher than local tour operators. They sent me emails regarding tours a week before I travelled, after I paid for three tours, noticed the price were higher than what they quoted a week earlier with the annoying emails. The tours had lunch included but had to pay for two. The manager did not even offered to pay me back on the overspend. The Suez Canal tour was awful. I paid £60 just for a 5 hour cab ride. No canal tour whatsoever. Room was disgusting. No TV, no toiletries, no room service! Every day someone came in and just dusted off the surface of the duvet... swapped the two pillows round and cover the holes in the bed sheet. The next day they would turn the mattress back to front along with the bedsheet, etc. No bed linen was changed. Breakfast included but everyday was 1 cold boiled egg, a tub of yogurt, 1 bread with a tub of butter and jam each with a hot drink. No change in the 7 nights I stayed. The country was lovely but the hotel spoilt my holiday.
Apologies for the long review but if it helps another customer from spoiling their holiday, then this is worth the while. Hotels.com, you should investigate yourself.
My rating for this hotel would be a disgusting 1/10.
