Bang in the centre of town, near beach and main stPosted Nov 2, 2014
Pros: Location and restaurant.
Cons: Not easy to find, if it is your first visit.
Best thing about the hotel is the first class restaurant - really sophisticated cuisine.

Tricky Parking and very frenchPosted Oct 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
Little space in car park and was asked by owner to move car so that restaurant delivery lorry could get in the next day. Found a space in car park eventually but it was tight squeeze. Surrounding area had little parking so if we had been unable to use car park we would have had to park some distance away. Very hard uncomfortable bed which gave me back ache, though room more spacious and much nicer than last time we stayed. Bath was OK if you are less than 5 feet tall. Continental breakfast - very French - no nice muesli, but fresh chunky bread was good. Fresh fruit would have been appreciated (it was mixed fresh and tinned). Hotel close to sand dunes and beaches so good place to walk dog before starting on long car journey.

Our room was bright and clean, with crisp white sheets and comfortable bed. We dined in the restaurant in the evening and had an exceptionally good meal and setting, the chef having a very light touch. excellent.

Great value and good service.Posted Oct 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
A nice hotel in a convenient and charming spot. Ideal for hopping on or hopping off Caen-Portsmouth ferry. Restaurant looked popular but i didnt have time to try it. Breakfast wasn't cheap at €9,50 but it was good value and was the best I've had for a long time. Service was excellent; the room much better than I'd expected and this package was incredibly good value. I will definitely use this hotel again.

Beautiful view of Sword BeachPosted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: The setting and the view of the sea.
Cons: Some of the staff could be more helpful
Location: The sea, restaurants, shops, D-Day museums.
Lovely setting and very short walk to town and sea. Some of the staff were very kind and helpful, although a few were rude. The garden at the rear of the hotel is beautiful with flowers, 2 French hens, and doves. There are places to sit there and enjoy. Parking on site is limited and crowded. Breakfast was delicious and ample. There is no elevator so we had to drag our bags up 3 floors. No help was offered.

Great location for the ferryPosted Sep 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
We arrived quite late for an overnight stop but the Receptionist was excellent. The room was clean and comfortabld, fine for an overnight stay. Breakfast was good and the dining room has been nicely refurbished. If the restaurant isclosed there are a couple within walking distance.
