Oceanview Bungalow Style Home in Owls Head

Cozy Oceanview nautical themed home off of Crockett's Beach in Owls Head, Maine. Just over a mile away from Birch Point State Park where you might catch a glimpse of the lobstermen work. Ten minutes to Rockland, the Lobster Capital of the World and the art center of the mid-coast where you can visit art galleries and the Farnsworth Art Museum. The Rockland Chamber of Commerce, located in Rockland has information on local events and activities. Visit antique shops, and restaurants. Fifteen minutes to PenBay Medical center in Rockland. Twenty minutes to Camden harbor, full of windjammers. Explore the little villages of the St, George, Spruce Head, Tenants Harbor, Port Clyde. Enjoy the views from local lighthouses and the Rockland Breakwater!

The house is very open and light, has one bedroom with a king size bed with a walk out terrace and a half bathroom, another bedroom with a queen size bed, and a small open area with a twin size bed. There is a full bathroom with shower and jacuzzi tub, kitchen with stove, refrigerator, and basic kitchen supplies. The living room has a couch and chair. There is baseboard heat. TV and Wifi. Also No smoking please.

House is Perfection
The house is absolutely beautiful and in a wonderful location with views of the ocean and a short walk to the beach. The house is wonderfully decorated, was spotlessly clean, and the hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need. The neighborhood is very peaceful and we had a wonderful time enjoying the deck and taking drives up the coast. There is a small regional airport nearby, but the noise was not disturbing and we actually enjoyed watching the small aircraft fly overhead. Highly recommend and we look forward to our return visit.

Beautifully Decorated
Lovely home inside and out. The decor is so tasteful and makes it very homey and welcoming. The only thing missing are towel bars in the bathrooms and perhaps a few more towels and wash cloths. Otherwise the home and gardens are just beautiful.

We came to Maine for the Seafood and the views. We had plenty of both. The house was plenty big enough for the 4 adults that stayed. Very nice quiet property. The house was everything it was described as. Very clean and roomy. We enjoyed it very much.

Relaxing Getaway
Booked this property for 3 nights as part of a baby moon trip. It was a more remote location, which made it quite peaceful, but still close to a few towns and site seeing locations. The house is recently renovated and very welcoming. We had a great stay and would recommend this home to both couples like us or families with children.

This is really a beautiful place to stay. The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked. The grounds are beautiful and you can see the sea. There are not screens on the windows but there are air conditioners in most rooms.

Very quiet and peaceful
Enjoyed the calm and peaceful surroundings. Everything we needed was there and the property shows sleeps 5 but it sleeps 7, including the loft. I enjoyed watering the plants that looked thirsty. Only complaint, someone needs to clean the lines in the jetted tub.

Beautiful Property, Perfect Location
We had the perfect family getaway in Owls Head and loved this house. Spacious, updated and clean, with a nice yard, fire pit and clear view of the water. Also, as others mentioned, this is a great location to explore from. Very close to local beaches, Rockland, just a short drive to Camden, etc.

Gorgeous house and location!
A group of ladies rented this house to celebrate one of our 40th birthdays. We had an absolute blast! The house is so cozy, it has everything you could possibly need, it’s beautifully decorated and was the perfect location for our getaway. My only complaint is the 10am check out is a bit early, I wish it was 11am. Otherwise zero complaints, five stars and absolutely wonderful!

This is a very comfortable home, beautifully decorated in a modern nautical theme all throughout and super clean. A very large open yard surrounds the property with playground and zip line for the kids. 10 minutes from Rockland. Wonderful ocean view with limited ocean access (very rocky shoreline, three minute walk from house). Host is super responsive and kind. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet retreat. Thanks Kasey!!

Beautiful Property
This property was beautiful and it was in a beautiful location. The area was amazing and the property owner was very quick to get back to us. Just an FYI, there is no central air, just two window units (one upstairs and one on the main level). There also was no microwave. Not that it was a big deal, it just would have been nice to know since we brought some food that could only be microwaved. Otherwise we had an amazing time. The place was very clean and nicely updated.

Beautiful Spot
We loved staying here while we visited Maine! The house was beautiful, the kids loved playing in the yard, playing basketball and sitting by the fire pit while we grilled dinner after our days out sightseeing. Its also close to Birch Point State Park Beach which was fun in the evening. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Home in Owls Head
Our family recently stayed in this lovely home in Owls Head area. The location was perfect for travel up and down the coastal area we were interested and exploring. The outdoor area at the home also was spectacular for seeing wildlife. I will definitely stay here again the future. Lovely design and thoughfulness for families with children. Loved it!
