A very modern and comfortable hotel near shopping

Posted May 1, 2015
Pros: Comfortable, modern and luxurious. Staff were excellent and service was very good. Breakfasts had such a variety of food from local to japanese.
Location: Hotel has easy access to a shopping mall with really good shops and restaurants. Hotel is close to an African market selling all kinds of African art.
A beautiful location with views to Robben island, the sea and the mountains. Located in the middle of terrific shopping and a wide variety of restaurants. A very comfortable and safe place to explore from. Staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent as was the High Tea served in the afternoon. Good location for being picked up to go on tours. We enjoyed our tour around the city, visiting amongst other places the peoples museum. Seapoint (nearby suburb) has some of the best shopping for African souvenirs and we really enjoyed the trip to dive with the Great White Sharks at Gainsbaai. Visit to Robben Island is a must where you are taken on a guided tour by a political prisoner who was detained on Robben island at the same time Mandela was incarcerated there. Very moving experience. We also enjoyed the cable car ride up Table Mountain to see the views from the top of the Mountain and meet the Dassies a relative of the elephant although slightly smaller!

Luxury hotel right in the harbour area

A very good experience. Excellent staff and a comfortable room. Good restaurants but a bit more choice would be nice but not essential. Right in the hubbub of the Bay Area yet that does not disturb the calm of the hotel.

Location: Located on the waterfront, 10 mins drive to Table Mountain, 40 mins to winelands or Cape of Good Hope. Excellent restaurants and shops nearby
Fantastic hotel in a great location for all sights. Room spacious and housekeeping a high standard. All staff are helpful and knowledgable and friendly. Food excellent, there's a huge spread at breakfast. We had a wonderful view of Table Mountain.

Beautiful hotel on V & A Waterfront

Posted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: Location was excellent and it was very comfortable and welcoming as well as a beautiful property. The brunch (included) was amazing.
Cons: Various appliances did not work. See above.
Location: Restaurants, Mall, ferry to Robben Island, Aquarium, live music every night, ferris wheel. Easy location to drive to Winelands, Cape Peninsula
We were booked for 9 nights even though 2 of those nights we were traveling in the area. The turn down service was very sweet with candy and rose petals. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would return and recommend it to friends and family. Parking our rental car in the lot out front (free) was easy. The only flaw was that several items of an electrical nature did not work. The television connection to the cable broke off after one night but was promptly fixed. One of the lamps did not work (light bulb?) and although we requested it be checked, it never was. The alarm clock next to the bed stopped working as well. There were not enough outlets to charge our phones and laptops.

Incredible Hotel with stunning views!

Posted Feb 26, 2015
Pros: Stunning mountain view from the room and food!
Cons: The cleanlady often knocks the door for asking whether it is necessary for room cleaning, but the thing is, the time was in the evening.
Location: Wharf for shopping and eating; Ferry terminal for departuring to Robben Island!
In our first time to visit Cape Town, Table Bay Hotel is obviously the best and only choice to stay. The Hotel is located at the Wharf where you feel totally relaxed and enjoyable about the atmosphere. The hotel provides very comfortable room, especially the beds which make us totally released. We tried the in-room dinning services which are surprisingly cheaper than other hotels, and the most importantly, the food are above average. The bathroom facilities are standard and easily used. The view of our room is Table Mountain and harbour which are simply matched. Also, the buffet breakfast is one of the stunning point of the hotel! Last, but not least, we also tried their restaurant - Camissa where we tasted the best wine in South Africa as well as specific meals. If we come back to Cape Town again, we will definitely stay with Table Bay Hotel again!

Hotel excelente.

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Recomendo pois realmente merece as cinco estrelas.

Good location, stunning view of the Table Mountain

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Location and services
Clean and comfortable hotel just right at the Waterfront. The V&A shipping mall and restaurants can be accessed directly from the hotel. On early arrival guests can enjoy the spa facilities while waiting for the room, the same applies on the departure day. All staff ensures that guests meet all their requirements at any time. The breakfast is superb (variety and quality). The Camissa restaurant offers a selection of South African cuisine and they can accommodate any dietary requirements. Excellent experience overall!

Cape Town 2015

Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: Breakfast was amazing, never seen so much choice! You just need to be patient for a table as it's not big enough to accommodate all guests at once.
Cons: The water temperature of our shower fluctuated a lot without adjusting the controls and I did hear another guest complaining about this.
Location: very central, easy to spend a week here and not need to go further than you can get on foot if you don't want to sight see.
Great hotel, pretty seamless service throughout with nothing too much trouble. Great facilities at the hotel with a great location.
