Cape Town visit

Posted Jul 10, 2015
We stayed at The Table Bay Hotel on the last leg of a safari and shark diving trip. Table Bay was without a doubt a 5+ star hotel. The rooms were very well appointed. The staff was courteous and efficient. The lobby was gorgeous with direct access to shopping. It's a big hotel, so if you're looking for something more intimate, this is not the place for you, but if our travels bring us to Cape Town and the V&A Waterfront again, I would most definitely stay at The Table Bay Hotel!!!

Fabulous location - right on the waterfront!

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Everything was great about the Table Bay Hotel. The staff went out of their way to answer your questions and make you feel extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The location of the hotel was perfect as it was within two minutes of the waterfront area. Highly recommended.

Elegant hotel on waterfront

Posted Jun 9, 2015
Pros: A lovely hotel on the waterfront and close to everything!
Location: When scheduling a room, the visitor has a choice of ocean view or Table Mountain view. I would suggest the mountain view!
From the moment we stepped from the taxi we knew we were in for a delightful experience. Attention to detail would capture everything about this hotel. Professional but friendly hotel staff catered to our every need and placed rose pedals on our pillows with the turn-down service. Breakfast buffet included everything from roast duck to sushi. not to forget all the African fruits and usual breakfast food. Beds were comfortable. The hotel connects directly to a 3 floor upscale shopping mall with banks, ATMs and currency exchange.

Would Definitely Stay Again!

Posted May 27, 2015
Pros: Great view and outstanding breakfast!
The Table Bay Hotel is the perfect location to explore the beautiful Cape Town waterfront. The breakfast is one of the best I have experienced and the staff are friendly and attentive. The mall entrance directly into the hotel was perfect to stock up on items before our flight. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Wonderful accommodation to be with family

Posted May 10, 2015
Pros: The position, staff and facilities were very pleasing.
Cons: Perhaps attention to small things like making certain that the lighting is all in working order and that the bath and basin drain well.
Location: This is a wonderful spot having regard to the proximity of the shopping mall, restaurants and ease of access to the wonderful tourist destinations.
My brother and I (and wives) used the opportunity to take a relaxing holiday in the Cape and to catch up. Overall the accommodation, facilities and staff were very good and I look forward to returning when I am able.

High end hotel in Cape Town. Walking distance to all the bars and restaurants at the waterfront. Safe location in town. Buffet breakfast was excellent and free for hotel guests.

Excellent luxury hotel

Lovely stay at this hotel. So convenient as it is linked to the V&A waterfront and mall. Best place to stay in Cape Town. Previously stayed at the 12 Apostles hotel and this was my second stay at Table Bay hotel. Both at good luxury hotels and each with it's own advantages.

A very modern and comfortable hotel near shopping

Posted May 1, 2015
Pros: Comfortable, modern and luxurious. Staff were excellent and service was very good. Breakfasts had such a variety of food from local to japanese.
Location: Hotel has easy access to a shopping mall with really good shops and restaurants. Hotel is close to an African market selling all kinds of African art.
A beautiful location with views to Robben island, the sea and the mountains. Located in the middle of terrific shopping and a wide variety of restaurants. A very comfortable and safe place to explore from. Staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent as was the High Tea served in the afternoon. Good location for being picked up to go on tours. We enjoyed our tour around the city, visiting amongst other places the peoples museum. Seapoint (nearby suburb) has some of the best shopping for African souvenirs and we really enjoyed the trip to dive with the Great White Sharks at Gainsbaai. Visit to Robben Island is a must where you are taken on a guided tour by a political prisoner who was detained on Robben island at the same time Mandela was incarcerated there. Very moving experience. We also enjoyed the cable car ride up Table Mountain to see the views from the top of the Mountain and meet the Dassies a relative of the elephant although slightly smaller!
