Overnight stay
The apartment was warm very clean and tidy, not far from the railway station,everything you need . The only thing that lets this apartment diwn is the noise outside from clubcard screaming and shouting outside

Stayed at apartment 1 and 4 Both fantastic and total fit for purpose Excellent shower and wifi at both Loved the idea of the extended mini bar (although did not use - prices vey good to) Had a problem accessing, a text to Joanne was answered immediately Thank you for a no hassle stay

Close to city center
The property is very spacious, and well maintained. The updated bathroom is my favorite. The location is only 2 blocks away from city center. Very convenient location. Free street parking is available between 6pm and 8:30am. Otherwise there is paid parking one block away. Another appliance I wish it had is a laundry machine. This is the second leg of our 2 weeks long trip. Having a laundry machine would make a huge difference.

great comfortable stay, central location
I was working locally, booked last minute due to changes in plans, accomadation was spacious, clean and comfortable with full kitchen facilities. Great central location, right in middle of shops, restaurants etc. Very secure an easy to communicate for access to accomadation. Will definitely stay again.

Ok but pricey!
The apartment is nice enough, but I feel it’s pricey for Carlisle! The view from the room room, left a lot to be desired. The back of a takeaway ☹️

WOW. The Old Wool Mill is brilliant. Perhaps Carlisle’s best place to stay. Joanne has expertly thought out every detail to make your stay as smooth as possible. The apartments have been designed by someone who has travelled themselves. The Apartments are self-catering but with all of the niceties and convenience of staying with at a hotel. For example shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, tea and coffee and a hairdryer! I stayed for three nights with my mum. My mum had the main room and I had the sofa bed. I have to say the sofa bed was more comfortable than most hotels I have stayed in. The owner even checked whether I wanted my bed made before my arrival. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Carlisle...look no further... Stay here.

We stayed for 3 nights at the property - it was amazing from the moment we opened the front door! Right in the heart of Carlisle city-centre the flat was well placed for walking all round town , with easy access to the shops and bars / restaurants. The property was very tastefully decorated and everything has a new / very well maintained feel and look. There were many little extra's which made the property feel luxurious and really made our stay very special...like the minibar and slippers and dressing gowns. We will be booking again for sure! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

a Carlisle gem
we stayed two nights in a one bedroom apartment. This accommodation is fantastic - stylish, comfortable and well equipped. It is self-check-in, but this process was very smooth for us, We received an email a day or two prior to arrival confirming the number of our apartment and giving us the access code. On the day of arrival, we received a text message an hour before check-in time to let us know the room was clean and ready for us, which was an unexpected bonus. The location is tucked away on a quiet street but still convenient, not too far from the station to walk and also within walking distance of Carlisle's heritage precinct. The kitchen is well equipped, with hotplate and oven. This enabled us to prepare our own meals. The only minor issue we had was the need to be careful in the shower, as the floor is very smooth so quite slippery. I highly recommend this property.

The location is excellent, close to the city center. The parking opportunities are limited, fortunately unloading and loading is possible in the street of the location. The apartment is well equipped and sizable. However, the windows pf apartment 3 are facing an inner court with a venting system of a restaurant. It produces strong kitchen smells during most of the day. It should be discussed with the owner how to reduce the smells (with scrubs, perhaps).
