“Nice, clean, simple and a good price. What else could you need?”

We stayed here for three nights and had no complaints. The room was clean and good-sized with a nice king bed. We had a microwave, coffee-maker, mini-fridge, cable tv, and an ironing board w/ iron in the room. There is a great restaurant with a bar on site, and the outside patio with the big flatscreen and cocktail service was awesome! We would definitely stay here again.

“Will probably choose it again when we go back.”

We were looking for a place to relax and since this is an older hotel there are trees and grass to sit outside. They have a lovely pool area surrounded by big trees. It was just what we needed for a restful time. The staff was very courteous and pleasant.

“Good place for the price.”

This is a decent place to stay. Breakfast was fine, people were friendly, rooms were clean and nice. Price was fair, not cheap but the didn't hold you up.

“No complaints”

Room was just your basic room, but we weren't looking for anything more. Had a decent swimming pool. Had great dinner special.

“Good for what it is.....”

We stayed here to go to the Caverns. The appearance of the hotel was kinda old looking, however, the staff were very nice and the room was satisfactory for what we were going to do (just lay our head down on a pillow!) The continental breakfast was what you would expect it to be, once again the staff there were very nice. Overall, it was a nice hotel kinda close to the Caverns.

“Comfortable stay”

This hotel worked out great for us. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. It had a musky smell at first but once we turned on the AC the smell was gone. The AC was working great. The showers have the massage showerhead so I enjoyed a comfortable bath. I did not get a chance to check out the pool. Other than that... our stay was a pleasant one.

“Not bad for the price”

I've stayed in better for a similar rate. I did like the continental breakfast and the customer service. The hotel also has a good proximity to Carlsbad Caverns, which was nice.

“Would definitely stay again”

We enjoyed our stay. The free breakfast was nice and they did have a varity to choose from. The steak and fries for $4.00 was a bargain. The room was comfortable and clean however, our toilet seat broke the first night and then the chain on the toilet broke the next day. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay.

“Great hotel for the price”

This hotel was very good. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the service was friendly. If I were going to Carlsbad again, I would stay here again.

“Very good choice for the cost”

Nice appearance upon arrival. Front desk attendant was very friendly & welcoming. Easy check-in, room was a pleasant place to lay your head down, pool was well kept-though spa was not operational. Only 'snag' to our stay was cleaning staff didn't understand english well (& I'm not good w/ spanish) so our room wasn't cleaned. When we spoke to the office staff the situation was quickly resolved. All in all-well satisfied.
