Our room had mold all through the bathroom so of course we didn't use it. When repiored to staff the reply I git was... " thank you for understanding." Double charged on my bank statement for pet fee.

Disappointed. Would not stay again.
The hotel room was not cleaned thoroughly. Dirty towels and used razor left behind by previous guest. The bathtub drain was clogged. Not “pet friendly”. By “pets” they only mean just dogs and they charge you extra $35 per day. I had a cat I brought with me and he was not allowed at the hotel. Fix your pet policy or don’t have one. The room next to mine had a barking dog going on at 3 in the morning 🙄 Go figure.

If you want quality, go elsewhere.
My fiance and i rented the Jacuzzi room... water came out just warm... jacuzzi didnt work. The smoke detector needed a battery and wouldn't stop beeping. The TVs picture quality was fuzzy... i should've known it was a mistake to come here when i saw that the numbers to the rooms were taped to the wall.

At check-in, my initial room had a fridge that didn't work. There was a puddle of water on the floor and the room smelled like mildew. I requested another room and was given the room next to it. The fridge in this room appeared to be OK, so I accepted the room. After unpacking, I realized that the fridge was running, but not staying cold. I attempted to call the front desk, only to realize that the phone did not work. My husband walked down to the front desk and the gentleman came up. He tinkered with the fridge but could not fix it. I was told that there were no other rooms available. The gentleman eventually swapped a fridge from another room. The freezer compartment in the replacement fridge didn't work. A bottle of H2O was in there for 3 days and never froze! While the front desk person was cordial and attempted to be helpful, my opinion of this establishment is not good. In addition to a poorly working fridge, the room could have been cleaned better. It was obvious that no one had dusted in a while. I wanted to go to another hotel but was afraid of finding more problems somewhere else. I will definitely NOT be recommending this hotel to anyone, and I will absolutely do my research in the future.

The place was fine other than when I showed up I was told I needed to pay a security deposit of $100 cash. I had the money so that wasn't the issue but I couldn't sleep thinking I had just got scammed. They don't give you a receipt for the money but I did get it back without any issues the next morning after management inspected my room. Very strange. Will not stay there again.

Had to pay $100 for my dog. Upstairs was stomping around like a trex all night. Outside was cars beeping. Also, my window was right next to smokers pit so I heard people talking all night w the smell of smoke.

Very dirty!!!
The 2 worst things about this motel is the severe lack of cleanliness & the very low comfort level. At least we were lucky enough to get clean sheets & a couple clean towels but that’s as far as they seem to go when it comes to “cleaning.” Our room smelled of urine, there was actually trash still in the drawers, floors were not swept & the bathtub nor sink was cleaned out. Luckily we brought our own sanitary wipes. Ironically the price per night was definitely not reflected, the stay there is worth far less than what we paid. The service is also lacking. Most of the time there was no one at the front desk.

The staff hid out of sight and had to be called to check in. The place was gross and had hair balls on the floor, lots of pot smoke around the area and lots of noise. So gross.

A $50 security deposit was charged and the hotel was more expensive in person than online. Beds are tiny and itchy. Wouldn’t allow a late check out, so unheard of! Will I stay again? NO! But the front desk agent was nice, new and went out of his way to open a broken door to let us in.

Hi Raquel, thank you for leaving us your feedback. The $50 security deposit is required by all guests as stated online. Hotel rates are the same in person and online. Some places online display cheaper rates, but after taxes and fees it comes out to the same figure. Whatever rates are set up at the hotel are the same rates that can be offered online due to rate parity agreement with the exception of membership discounts and promotions. We do offer late checkouts for an additional fee. Our beds are standard size double and king size beds as described online. If you had informed the front desk of any issues after check in we would've happily corrected any issues or have given you another room. Your feedback will be shared with the staff to ensure better experience for future guests. We hope you return and allow us another chance to host your next visit to Carrollton.

The room reeked of cigarette smoke and body odor. I immediately notified the manager of the cigarette smell so that I would not be held responsible. His response was “As long as it is not fresh cigarette smell, you will not be charged.” I found that appalling since I had to sign a smoking disclosure at check in.

The hotel appears nice and the staff were pleasant. I paid extra for a better tub room but that went south when there was no hot water and the staff seemed unconcerned. Said someone was working on it when no one was. Couldn’t take a shower and definitely needed it. Got in to late and was to tired to leave and try to find another place. Uggh nothing was done when I complained

If you like fluffy pillows. Bring your own, on our king bed was 3 small pillow, plus they were flat..people on next floor over us must have had a bunch of kids jumping off beds till 2 am, walls super thin... Bed was very uncomfortable..staff was nice ..and this is the first place I had to pay a $50.00 deposit for damage..and we've stayed in a lot higher price places than this. Next time in area will look elsewhere

I booked the room due to the couch bed and sitting area. I traveled with two small children and wanted some extra space. The room was ok. There were upgrades, like the floors and vanity. However the furniture did not compliment, as it was old and outdated. Evidently not steam cleaned. I made a complain as to the room not being cleaned prior to our visit or without a decent time frame. Due to the smell, you can tell the room had been closed in or not in use for a long time. There was hair in the shower and a bandaid stuck to the outside of the tub. I was very disappointed.

The hotel smelled terrible and the room was disgusting. The beds didn't even have full size Pillows and the beds did not have blankets. Just very thin sheets. I would rather sleep in my car then stay here again. Absolutely terrible. 10/10 do not reccomend.

What I didn’t like about this place was that when I checked into room that bathtub was dirty and had to wait until a night shift person came in to clean it even though I had checked in at 2pm and also the inside of the microwave was filled with rust

Unfortunately, a few bad apples come from time to time and abuse the no smoking policy. We try our best to monitor these incidents and guests as soon as they are brought to our attention. As an economy branded hotel we do offer basic amenities.
