I hate to say it but it was really not our fault. The city is replacing all the electrical poles and they had their trucks running early morning to finish their job. I did get few more complaints about the noise. It is better now since finish their job close to our hotel. I apologize for it and hoping you will give us another chance. I am glad to hear that room was ok, and I am sure it will look more better once renovations are complete.Sincerely,

There was cockroaches in two rooms we got! Had to refund and get out of there! We did get our money back with little to no argument, except for the older woman who was a mother of the manager, she was very rude.

I will not deny once in a while we do encounter an issue like that due to an exterior nature of the business. We have notified our pest company about it and they took care of it by servicing. I am one of the very few hotels who has pest services every 2 weeks, and after the treatment those hidden non-paying guests come out. I will discuss with my operations manager ot make sure her momma stays away from it. I will get on to it personally. The property is in very poor condition, everyone I was visiting in Cartersville was appalled that I was staying there and felt I would be unsafe. It is admirable that they take in the homeless population as the shelters are over crowded, but not suitable for tourists under those circumstances. I encourage anyone booking to look elsewhere.

I agree we need to improve our property and I am not sure if you seen the signs that says hotel is under renovations. We are working on repairing building from inside-out and then we will work on painting. I am positive this hotel will look a lot better than what it is now. We have almost completed our public restrooms into a modern looking one. We have started breakfast flooring and new lights around the building including some improvements in lobby and breakfast seating area. We will be changing the room paint inside as soon as we get an approval from choice hotels to go ahead with the color scheme.Once again, sorry about the stay and hope you will give us another chance in future.

The bathtub was dirty. The shower curtain was filthy the bathroom floor. Had not been mopped. The room had not been cleaned properly. There was dirt under a chair and around the room. I would not use this facility again.

Be better!
The first room they tried to give us had dirt and grime all over the floor and counters. The second room was a little better, I guess. The light fixtures and the hairdryer were both falling off the wall. The metal edging on all the lamps was rusted. The hotel was pet friendly, but even so, there were feral cats roaming the property. If it wasn't so late, we would have demanded a refund and changed hotels.

I never staiyed in such a nasty place in my 60 plus years. The staff was very nice but that was as far as it goes. The bathtub moved when you stepped in it. It was buckling and I believe it’s a safety concern. Also it was so damp in the room that we had to put towels on the floor to walk.

We did check the tub and fount the tub did have a water bubble under it which is due when water and air gets trapped underneth the liner of the tub we have the room blocked so we can address the issue. Also, when housekeepers entered the room the heat was set to 76 and the day you was here we had a heat index of over 100. In an exterior hotel if we do not keep the AC on atleast 70 cold mode. We found your AC was set at 76 but on Heat mode which caused severe dampness that in turn made floors wet. Besides, overall heatwave and rain almost everyday in GA is causing lot of humidity. If you would have let front desk know when you noticed them we would have gladly changed your room and explained this to you.We could have also given you stained towels or bring our shopvac and have maintenance technician soak the water. We found our brand new linen that we just bought to replenish entire hotel is now ruined. We did not charge as in compensation towards damaged tub. We are in the process of renovations and we will be changing atleast 1/2 of the bathtubs this year. And. a lot more inside the rooms including painting etc to name a few.Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience caused.Sincerely,

Dear Thomas,Thank you for choosing to stay with us, and I apologize for inconveniences cause during your stay. We already took care of those issues reported via choice when you left us a feedback. I hate to say this but the room hasn't been remodeled yet. What we have done is placed 50" + televisions in our rooms with the king size bedrooms. We are replacing our toilet paper holders as previous remodeling made a mess. They did not install them correctly and most paper holders are just hanging on sheetrock which breaks the wall easily. The newer ones we bought have a deep pocket and engraved all the way inside to be able to screw them on the metal struts. I am positive things will come out good once it's complete.Your feedback and satisfaction is very importnt to us. Thank you again for the feedback, and hope to see you in future.

I stayed there once, it was dirty, shower continued to run constantly, bathroom door was broke , Tub felt like it was going to fall thru it. No washer,dryer. I stayed a second time to give them benefit of a doubt. , the only thing that was changed was water didn't run the whole time.

I have been writing and responding every guest feedback to tell them that we just started repairs/renovations, and I am hopeful in near future our hotel will look a lot better. We are completing pending items before we start newer items. We just finished our roof and installed HVAC system in common areas, currently working on unisex common restroom. In between, severe storm couple weeks ago ripped off our front canopy roof metal and we just finished that. After completing restroom, we will do the flooring in breakfast area as the carpet is pretty bad and it is showing it's age. I was just giving you some insight that we are working on it, and things will improve significantly. Thank you again for giving us another chance.Sincerely

There was no maid service, they stated they would clean on mondays and thursdays but no one serviced the room, we did get towels and toliet needs but had to request them, no instructions regarding operation of the channel changer for the tv, they stated they would reduce the room rate but when leaving the rate stayed the same, we were able to figure out the controller but it took multiple attempts, one day there was no orange juice available no explanation just no orange juice, no yogurt on another day

rude front desk staff… didn't have room when checked in and they wont refund money… and I bought the room protection insurance.. that was a rip!!!

I am not sure what had happened and we do not charge guest if they dont stay or leave in the event they are unhappy with hotel. We do not charge for room protection insurance? I never heard anything like that before. Please be aware there are many bogus websites that are stealing money from guests like you so my advice would be to check with hotel always direcly for any hidden fees. I can do more research on your reservation if you could provide me some more information by calling us directy. Room was in a very poor condition in general. There was hair on the bed sheet when we first walked in. Room has flies and mosquitos. Some of the power plug not working. Hair dryer not working. Clothe hanger, light swatch and other metal frame all rusted. Paint on bathroom wall still wet. Water piping makes a loud whistle sound in the middle of the night. Trash can by the staircase was always overfilled and has flies all over. Property does have plenty parking and convenient location. Front desk was very friendly.

It is hard to manage exterior hotel during summer time when there are millions of different kind pests flying around. It's like you open the door and they just sneak in. Also, they enter via bathroom or sink etc. We will monitor more closely to make sure rooms are free from insects of any kind. I am sorry to hear about other issues in the room and I really wish this was brought to my attention immediately. I just checked your reservation which shows you had stayed 5 days and we could easily switched your room or identify issues with our in-house maintenance technician. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you provided to make improvements to ensure we offer an exceptional experience for our guests in the future.We are working on property improvements so please excuse our mess for the time being. i am positive this hotel will look a lot better in near future. Liked both the location and the night desk woman. The tub was patched poorly; badly done and mildewed grout; yellow drips inside tub; toilet paper holder was pulled-out of wall; I could see daylight on parts of the door frame; upstairs window mildew….

I am glad you notice all those issues and I like to bring to your attention that we have started repairs. Almost through the budget approval so we can start significant changes. HORRIBLE. RUN.
This place is so dirty. There was vomit on the walls, they only gave us 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper, there’s people living there, a man running around screaming, rust everywhere, the room smelt like cigarettes, I could go on & on. Do not stay here. When I called to let them know we would be canceling our stay & leaving - they hung up on me.
