Charming house in the heart of the Loire châteaux with a large, peaceful flower garden about 4 km from the center of the city of Amboise. Suitable for a family with children as well as a couple or 2 couples (maximum 6 people) seeking tranquility. .
This single storey house comprising a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, one with a 140 bed and a 120 bed bathroom.
On the ground floor an extra bedroom, shower and laundry room, garage.

quaint property
Nicely located property in a quiet rural area, ideal for touring the area. In the hosts description of the property, it promises that English is spoken, however their command of the language is extremly limited - do not expect to hold a meaningful conversation. Lastly, we found it unbeliveable that there were no lids for the saucepans or frying pans, no tumblers at all, no egg cups and no pasta bowls, all of which were sorely missed.

superb holiday villa in beautiful, lush, green setting
This property is very luxurious, immaculately clean and very well-located extremely near the Loire valley's nicest town, Amboise. Off-road parking, extensive grounds, a wonderful terrace with awning and comfortable seating and exceptional security also added to our enjoyment of our stay. The area is a paradise steeped in history and there is even an amazing hypermarket nearby (Leclerc). The owners are lovely, they helped us when a minor medical issue arose. Thank You !

The property for us was in a perfect position in a village not too far from Amboise, for shopping and exploring but far enough to be in a totally peaceful location. As a twosome the property suited us perfectly, and with the second bedroom it would be great for two couples. There was a third bedroom which was in the basement. Not so good. The owners met us on arrival and made us very welcome. We would certainly be happy to recommend this property

Charming hideaway
Lovely house in a large, quiet garden. Ideally located to tour the Castles of the Loire Valley. The house was squeaky clean, pleasantly decorated and very well appointed. Ideal for a family holiday. Perfect garden for the adults to relax and for the children to play. Exactly as described, no bad surprises.

Très belle maison rends bien mieux que sur les photos très bien agencée avec tout le necessaire et même plus . Propriétaires très accueillants, petite attention de leur part à notre arrivée. Surprise agréable supplémentaire dû aux montgolfières qui passent aux dessus de la maison. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung des Pays de la Loire
Wer einen günstigen Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge in die Loireregion sucht und gleichzeitig einen Rückzugsort mit allen Annehmlichkeiten eines Feriendomizils, ist hier genau richtig: ein geräumiges Haus mit großem baumbestandenem Garten, fast alleinstehend (nur ein direkt benachbartes Haus), gut ausgestattet, liebevoll und gepflegt eingerichtet, sehr sauber. Die Vermieter begrüßen und verabschieden ihre Gäste persönlich, wohnen aber nicht vor Ort. Wir haben uns zu sechst sehr wohl gefühlt und wunderbar erholt. Das Loiretal bietet für 2 Wochen reichlich Abwechslung und die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind, wie gesagt, von Chargé aus relativ zügig zu erreichen. Vielen Dank nochmals an das Ehepaar Conan und: gerne wieder!

La perfection au rendez-vous : comme chez soi.
Nous avons passé 4 jours dans le gite pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire dans les environs. Tout était parfait dans ce gite : propreté, équipement et décor. Nous sentions les intentions d’accueil des hôtes jusqu’au moindre détail. Nous pouvions nous détendre sur les chaises longues dans le jardin mis à notre disposition en entendant seulement le bruit des oiseaux. Nous y reviendrons avec un grand plaisir pour poursuivre la visite de cette belle région.

Wohnen im Grünen
Über das Haus als auch über Familie Gilbert können wir nur das beste sagen. Es liegt ein paar km von Auxerre entfernt mitten im Grünen ohne irgendwelchen Lärm. Das Haus ist tip top gepflegt, alles was man benötigt ist vorhanden und funktioniert einwandfrei. Auch die Möbel und die Küche sind hochwertig, keine alten Dinge die man aus der eigenen Wohnung ausrangiert hat. Herr und Frau Gilbert sind sehr nett, auch wenn ihr Englisch verbesserungsfähig ist. Wir hatten einmal das Problem das sich die Tür des Waschtrockners nicht öffnen lies, ein Anruf und sie waren 19 Minuten später da und haben das Problem gelöst. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
