Mid Century Modern Apartment - Close to Downtown!!

Take a step back in time when entering this cozy eccentric mid-century modern apartment. Filled with unique pieces of antique furniture, this home is a 2-bedroom 1 full bath duplex that comfortably sleeps 4 people. The living room is stocked with board games and a large smart TV to provide you entertainment during your stay. A quick 6-minute drive will have you in downtown very close to many attractions and great restaurants that the city has to offer. Including the Tennessee Aquarium, the famous Walnut Street Walking Bridge, and Coolidge Park! The kind gentleman who lives next door is the Owner of this home. 

When entering the home, you will walk into the fully stocked kitchen that has everything you will need to cook yourself a meal during your stay. Plate-ware, dish-ware, silverware, pots, pans, etc. There is a coffee maker with a medium roast option provided for our guests. In the corner of the kitchen there is a small breakfast nook which is a great spot to have your morning coffee and read the local paper. There is a laundry cabinet with a large washer and dryer you are welcome to use during your stay. Past the kitchen is the open concept living room and dining area with an incredible antique dry bar that adds so much character to the room. Down the hall there are two bedrooms and one full bathroom. Both bedrooms have queen-sized beds.

Additional things you will need to know about this property:

This home is a duplex and the kind gentleman who lives next door is the Owner of the property. 
There is room to park 2 vehicles – 1 under the carport and 1 in the gravel area behind the home.
There is no grill on the property.
There is no Cable TV - but there is a smart TV that will allow you to log into your own streaming apps on the smart TV to watch movies and TV shows. There is an option to purchase a trial period if you would like to access local cable channels for the duration of your stay.

Please note: There will be no refunds in the unlikely circumstance that there is a power outage during your stay or if the weather is not cooperating. We do not have any control over the weather or outages caused by nature! We highly suggest you purchase travel insurance to be preventative in case something happens and you need to cancel.

Perfect for our needs
I traveled with parents, who were very impressed with their first non-hotel experience. The gentleman next door checked on us and gave recommendations. The property was easy to find, was very clean and comfortable, and the hosts even accommodated a last minute request to check in a little early. The space was very nice/comfortable with everything you need for a short stay. The area was close to restaurants/groceries and very close to downtown Chattanooga without feeling like you were in a big city. We had a very nice stay. Loved the backwards clock in the kitchen.

We really enjoyed the location of this property while we were in town for an event at Baylor. Immaculately cleaned. Comfy beds, enough space for our 8yo and 3yo, and a stocked kitchen for our breakfasts before heading out for the day. We’d definitely look for this one on our next trip!

Terrible property owner
I came in town for a week for work. I kindly asked the owner for a early checkin because I would be working over night into the morning after driving from Georgia. She told me that I couldn’t checkin early because previous guest would still be on the property, cool, after finishing work at about 6-7 am I arrive to the property and I wait near until I’m able to check in. Because where else am I going to go ? So of course I fall asleep waiting because I’ve just drove and worked all night then suddenly I’m awaken by the police sayin that I’ve been harassing the owner and that I was trying to force myself into the property and all these complete lies that can completely get a black man into some trouble. On top of her cancelling my reservation just hours before my checkin time. All I’m saying is if your a BLACK PERSON STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

We absolutely loved this location + stay - it's decorated so cute and had more amenities than we needed. It's a nice central location and we found that most everything to do was within 10-15 minutes. The neighborhood was lovely and everything was super clean! Would recommend to anyone visiting Chattanooga!

Great House, Great Location
Took the family to Chattanooga and couldn’t have been happier with the house. It had everything we needed to cook a few meals and relax in the evening. Loved the mid-century modern decor, and slept well every night. The location is just a few minute drive to downtown and the major tourist attractions. We made it to our destination easily each morning, and did not encounter any traffic congestion. The host was great and made sure we had what we needed. Would absolutely stay here again.

The place was located close to where we needed to be--Red Bank/Signal Mountain area. Nice and clean, great selection of Keurig pods, and a very comfy matress in the main bedroom. Day bed in the other room is small, but still comfy if you're not too tall. I would definitely recommend this property.
