Omg the bed was like sleeping on concrete and I’m not exaggerating the mattress was so hard there was no give at all after 3 days i had back pain

Very basic cheap room. No English speaking staff but they are nice. No facilities not even a laundry near by unusual in Thailand. Just a clean basic room.

The rooms were cheap but worth the money. Fridge was old and a bit pongy but the girls on reception were really nice and helpful because of them i would come back.

The price of the hotel is very cheap which is great but you get what you pay for. Internet connection on floor 5 isn’t always stable so makes streaming or watching online hard. Interior is old, doesn’t look like Expedia photos. Would stay again since the price is very low.

Rest, relaxation. I walked every day, ate healthy food, met kind local people, enjoyed sunny and warm weather. Only good things to tell about my experience at the Traveller's Inn in Chiang Mai.

Sorry but this was not accommodation place for humans..the worst place that I ever been dirty full of insects (huge cockroaches) and no sound proof some windows was open..!really bad experience not worth not even one baht and we report at the hotel but didn’t refund me back my money then the result was to go to airport and sleep there.better for sure of this place...I highly recommended to avoid this place...

The staff in this hotel are very friendly, the space is dated yet very accommodating. The location is superb. It’s located at a walking distance to many popular bazaars and vibrant nightlife.

I dont spend much time in the room just sleeping there and a couple of hours on the internet in the morning then out all day so dont need anything fancy or luxurious; and for that you cant beat the price. I would upgrade to AC on my next visit as the weather was hotter than last year.

Very cheap and great location. The staff is very friendly! But the room condition is not great. The fan is very good but that’s about it. The shower can be cleaner and the bed is ok. But very cheap so can’t complain that much. 6+

The room was crappy and old. Looks like noone never cleaned it especially the bathroom but the price is very cheap and it is on the nice location. So, if you wouldn't mind, it should be fine. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

Good basic hotel. Very affordable. Friendly staff. Great Location. Steps away from the night market. The room seemed clean. The only downfall is that the bathroom smelt like sewage the whole stay

Less than basic hotel, room in hostel better.
First day there, not good. Room smelled, A/C not working, all water cold. Area of hotel I know what to expect, so ok. After I complained of room, my stay was ok. But will never return. WI/FI not good, television no reception, so never used. Could be a great hotel, staff very good, but owner/management need to improve.

We have used this Hotel on 2 previous occasions so know it reasonably well. Is in the very heart of Bars, Markets and very near Old City Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are very basic and in need of refreshing but you get what you pay for so we were happy enough

Convenient one night stopover.
All I wanted was a place to kip for the night. It was less expensive to stay here than pay the taxi fare to our better accommodation way up in the hills. Staying allowed us to enjoy the night markets and other entertainment on offer.

Great value and best location in town
Rooms are a bit dated, but good hot shower, air condition, refridgerator and comfortable bed. Even had a couple of English channels on TV. Very friendly staff. Easy access elevator. Very, very convenient location. Close to night bazaar, Thae Pae Gate and right on Loi Khroh, where all the bars and nightlife are. We were very happy staying here again

god for the price and not to mention the location. not very clean but wont call it dirty either. if all you desire is a place just to sleep or keep your luggage safe this is the place. night bazaar is on walking distance , thape gate is literally 2 minutes of walk. overall I wouldnt mind staying here again as long as I am alone haha. the only thing that sucks is the water heater doesnt really works so if you are into taking cold showers, you'll be fine .

Clean sheets but the bathroom was a bit grotty. The shower was a bit low so you had to hold it to wash your hair. You get what you pay for. Good enough to use as a base but don't expect to be wowed by the place.

Problem with first room (standing bathroom floor water) and was changed to similar basic room. No tv or fridge and no amenities but if you want to be in the heart of what action is to be had in CM at lowest possible cost this is a decent choice.

Disgrace!!!!
I realise that this is budget accommadation so I shouldnt expect too much,having said that this is the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune of spending time in.The staff are rude and unaccommodating,arguing with us over the smallest of fees and unwilling to give us the room we had originally booked and payed for.The rooms were dirty,dingy, and unbearably hot with stained walls, sheets, towels, and windows.The location is good but after here we found a much better spot for cheaper.Do not stay here unless you absolutely have to or failing that consider a night on the street,your comfort would not be affected.

So much difference
I got a room with fan but it was very noisy all day and night. So I requested to chenge to another room, but very expensive between original contract and up grade. Finally the staff suggested me to chenge the room by reasonable extra because the room air conditioner is out of order. I agrred it, because I orefer without air conditioner to a fan.

The room is comfortable enough to sleep in but it must have seen better days. The elevator is old, a bit slow, but works fine so no issues. The most disappointing was the kitchen part. It was not functioning at all. Tables and chairs were set-up but only for guests to eat their take-out food. My booking did not include breakfast but I inquired where the kitchen was so I can order coffee while waiting for the room. They said no kitchen so I had to order coffee from a shop in front of the inn. Dining area became a holding point for washers which might have come from what used to be its kitchen. What used to be the souvenir shop became a stock room for food ingredients probably for hotel staff. Not a deal breaker but it is an eye sore as guests see this part of the hotel on their way to elevator and dining area.

Please don't book it until you see the room. I made a huge mistake that I booked three days in advance. First day I arrived I was astonished how this place is called as a hotel. It's not a hotel at all. And if you choose room without air conditioner which is cheaper one, wifi is not for free, which was upsetting me and my next room neighbors. Also you couldn't sleep until the bar of first floor close around 2 am.

Great location with just 2 minst to the night bazzar. But the room condition, especially the rest room is horrible. And the service is really bad as the staff is rude. Beside, the free wifi is only valid in 3 hours, hence, you have to take time to walk to the reception for the new wifi, not comfortable at all.

On prostitute road and smells like cigarettes
Don't stay here The cheap rooms are not very good. They're located in the back building where prostitutes come in and out to visit clients. The lower cost rooms are also in a building that smells like cigarettes. Add on top of that wifi didn't work. For the same price and even less you can get a better place.
