Amazing stay, amazing hosts !!
We were a hen party of 12 staying at Trimnells. From the moment we booked Susan was fantastic. Nothing was ever to much trouble for her. She was so informative, giving us lots of information about Taxi’s and local amenities. House was lovely, clean and tidy. Kitchen was very well equipped. Rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed for a large group. Mark met us on arrival and showed us around. We shortly met Susan after. Both were so friendly and welcoming. And thank you for the hot tub !!! A short drive into Bath by taxi. We would recommend anybody to stay at Trimnells. Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely house.

The perfect property for our group of 15 hens :) Nothing was too much for the host. Great communication from the beginning. We had a private chef come in to cook us dinner one of the nights and the kitchen is well equipped for this, with plenty of plates, cutlery and glasses to accommodate. Beds were comfy, enough bathrooms and toilets for all of us and also so much parking! I highly recommend Trimnells House!

Great venue for hen do
Perfect size property for a group of ladies in our 40s to get together and celebrate our friend’s upcoming wedding. Individual beds and bathrooms in each room made it all the more comfortable. Good size property - not too big but big enough for everyone to be together. Clean property, well stocked kitchen for entertaining. Sue was lovely and answered all our questions, provided towels and tea towel and made the overall experience nice and easy. Only downside is we didn’t get to enjoy the garden as was raining! Thanks so much for having us Sue!

Extremely spacious and excellent value for money
We could not have been more fortunate to find Trimnells House. The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming and the accommodation really is one of the kind - the house and grounds are absolutely massive and it is in close proximity to both Chippenham and Bath Spa. The amenities were well stocked, it accommodates very large groups with ease and the property had everything from gaming facilities to travel reading and local guides. An ideal place to stay especially for larger groups.

Great Property with lots of little touches…
We stayed at Trimnells for a recent hen party. There were 12 of us. Every bedroom had up to 4 people in it and all en-suites so showers and WCs were no problem at all. Lots of lovely little extra things that made our stay really easy… a drinks fridge in the dining room, seating for everyone, front door keys in every bedroom, code entry to each bedroom and even recycling. A great location close to Chippenham and Bath and Susan the hostess was very friendly and relaxed - happy that we were there to enjoy ourselves. Lovely garden and a delightful little village… we had no problem with taxis to Bath (around £20). We had a wonderful time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Lovely place for a get awaay
Booked when restricted to 2 families hence only 8 people in lovely large accommodation. Excellent facilities including lovely garden. Children loved the chickens and were thrilled to collect eggs in the morning. Very accommodating owners. Lovely break - wish it could have been longer. Thanks for a lovely few days

Cooking weekend with friends
Fabulous property in a lovely location close to Bath and Chippenham. I hired the place for friends to meet up to learn cooking together. Perfect house to accommodate a big group. Sue, owner, was fabulous. Great communication throughout. Very clean house, had everything I needed. Highly recommended.

Perfect for events
We had 12 guests for a stag party. There were enough comfortable beds for all of us, plenty of nice bathrooms and some great communal areas including garden space. A great place for this kind of event.

Great house for a large family stay.
The owner was really accommodating arranging the beds for our family. Great kitchen with every appliance you could need. Informal garden so great for the children to play in. Overall a lovely stay.

Beautiful house, great for large groups
Beautiful house in picturesque village only a short drive from Bath. Great for large groups of friends / family. Large bedrooms with en-suite in every room & sizeable garden with BBQ.

A wonderful stay
We were a group of 13 for a hen do and had the best time at Trimnells House. All of the rooms were comfortable with en suite bathrooms. The garden is lovely - much bigger than the photos led me to believe. Sue was incredibly accommodating and helped us organise getting a hot tub delivered and set up in the garden - she was happy to deal with delivery and pick up at no extra cost. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful property and location
We were greeted by the owner, shown around and made to feel right at home. Everything was top notch, rooms were great and spacious with nice ensuites. The kitchen was clearly very well equipped but as 4 of my friends are chiefs they told me it is better than good. Couldn't recommend the house more and it was a bargain. Thanks sue for giving us a great time.

beautiful, well equiped property - perfect for groups!
We have just returned from a weekend at Trimnells House - there were 13 friends and we found the house was perfect for our needs. Tbeh have everything you could imagine you need for a stay and more. They have even thought of the little extra things that make the difference (such as ice buckets!). I would highly recommend this house for a group, the garden is a lovely, large space and has an enormous bbq! Perfect for summer evenings. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious and we really liked the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner available for us to use! Thanks Sue for a lovely stay :)

Just the right kind of place for our family gathering
We were greeted by the owner and given a very thorough and informative guided tour of the inside of the property. There was plenty of equipment of all kinds in the kitchen, though the kitchen itself could have been better laid out given that several people would be contributing to cooking and clearing at the same time. The one ground-floor bedroom has a walk-in shower and separate toilet and would be suitable for a person with limited mobility, though would not be sufficiently equipped for someone with a wheelchair. All the bedrooms are of a good size and all comfortable. There was plenty of outdoor space for children to run around. When on Saturday evening we needed fresh charcoal for the barbecue a quick text to the owner brought a rapid resupply. For another similar kind of family event we would be happy to visit Trimnells House again.

Lovely house! Lovely owner!
The house looks beautiful on arrival and the friendly owner showed us around this fantastic house. There is a large lounge and dining room suitable for 12-14 people, a great, fully kitted out kitchen and some large bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds. The house is suitable for all types of holidays/gatherings/parties and even with loud music playing downstairs the bedrooms are quiet. Couldn't recommend this house more!
