You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

FISHERMANS CABIN UP ROCK CREEK 30 MINUTES FROM MISSOULA MONTANA

Rustic fishing cabin on Brewster Creek. One mile from nearest Rock Creek fishing access. Built in the early 1960's on a small stream 1/2 mile off the paved road up a secluded canyon.

There is kitchen with fridg, electric range , microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes pots and pans. There is NO wifi and NO air conditioning.

Bathroom with small tub and shower (lots off hot water).

Queen bed --- double bed---- fold out couch-- futon (sheets and blankets).

Large front yard, small deck and fire pit with views of cliffs and rocky slopes and good chance of wild life walking right buy. There is a weber barbeque (need briquets).

* not a great place for small children, there are other nice and more modern cabins in the area you might want to check out.

Great place and host
Michael contacted me early and often, had fire wood ready, and was more than happy to host our group of 8 fisherman. He was very accommodating all around. Cabin is exactly what i wanted for the last day of our montana and idaho trip. Big thanks to michael!

Rustic and charming - Exactly as advertised
Adorable little cabin that was exactly as advertised! It was spacious and clean with all the basic necessities to enjoy our stay! We enjoyed playing horseshoes, having a fire and listening to the creek while our kiddos rode their bikes - lots of useable outdoor space! Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking to unplug and enjoy a relaxing stay! We will most definitely be back. 🙂

I find the need to review although I wasn't able to stay . In speaking with the host, Mike ,for directions I realized I booked for the wrong night . He was very kind and said contact VRBO to cancel . Mike said call him direct if I had a problem with a VRBO refund . As I waited for refund to post on debit card and a couple of emails to Mike and swift response saying refund was taken care of when I cancelled. I Checked my debit card ,still no refund .I felt like an idiot when I realized I had booked on my credit ,not debit card . My apologies to Mike for being a pain ,he's great host i'm an airhead .

Beautiful area!
If you're looking for a rustic feel, this is it! Mike was super easy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. Creek runs right outside the bedroom, best thing to wake up in the morning to by far! Got to enjoy wildlife and fishing. Will definitely be going back!

Home on the range
Newly married, my wife and I had been planning to rent a cabin in Montana for months after being inspired by the hit TV show Yellowstone. We found the accommodations to be a slice of heaven on earth! The property was exactly what we wanted and envisioned: secluded, charming, rustic and affordable. Mike, the owner, was a joy to deal with and even came to check on us the next morning to see if everything was alright because we had slept so late. He's a caring mountain man! We're thrilled with the experience and Vrbo made it so easy throughout the process.

We had an excellent stay at the rustic cabin. Saw big horn sheep every day and everyone caught fish
Mike was very helpful and had lots of information about the area. Our family had a great time in the rustic cabin. We saw bighorns, deer, bears, and caught trout. You can hike right outside the door. It was a great time.

Great host, great communication, poor description of property, in need of much repair to the structure, numerous holes that allow rodents, bugs, and other unwanted invaders. This included a small family of chipmunks under the kitchen sink.

More than rustic
Owner is friendly, so I hate to write this, . but place is beyond rustic. The house is not at all sealed so bugs are flying around at night. The bathroom sink and tub were filled with bugs...it was truly not a pleasant site. The back of the house looks as if it was flooded and torn off. Caution tape is everywhere. Blankets had vermin droppings on them. VRBO, i have never ever stayed in such a run-down place and feel this should be pulled from formal listings. Everything inside just very run-down and complete gaps in back door to the house lets in all bugs. Needs lots of work before it should be on a VRBO listing again. It will be a memory of our cross-country trip but not a good one.

We rented Mike's Cabin for 3 day's, and it was a great experience. Mike was super nice, and the Cabin was a little rustic, but perfect for us. The fishing was great, Rock Creek has some beautiful Trout of good size. If given the opportunity I would definitely rent from Mike again. Thanks Mike!

We didn’t stay once we saw the property. My dad has lung health issues and didn’t realize there was no air and everything was dated from the 80’s besides that there was part of the building in the back falling apart which had rotting wood and would cause more respiratory health problems if we’d stayed there.
