Nigel is helpful and goes out of his way to ensure you are happy with your environment. Good TV channels for the evening after you have done the sights and the beds are comfortable with soft duvets. Well positioned for public transport but ensure you check timetables as transport can be infrequent. We’d happily return and……

“This top story flat was absolutely perfect. Extremely well outfitted, especially the kitchen. Induction hob, large fridge/freezer, everything you needed as far as cutlery, utensils, pots/pans, dishes etc. The washing machine had a dryer function! Very clean overall, delightful bedding, great location, quiet. Hosts were easy to contact and very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended!”

“There is only one word for this - WOW!!!!! I have never in all my years as a self-catering traveller seen so much care being taken to ensure that all one's needs are met. We stayed in "Spiggie" and everything was perfect. The location was in the centre of everything, while being quiet as well. The planning of the amenities was first class (both kitchen electrical sockets had USB sockets) and in the bedroom was a cooling down mat for ladies to rest their straighteners/curling tongs. “We have stayed at the Kveldsro for a week plus on two occasions, and really enjoyed ourselves each time. The hotel is not a new building, but as a result is full of character. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms fairly recently updated. The dining room and many of the bedrooms have a wonderful view over the Lerwick harbour. One of the best aspects is that the hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from Commercial Street, and within easy walking distance of most of the many……

“The week we spent at Voortrekkers Lodge, Levenwick, was an absolutely marvellous experience. The spectacular view from the lodge, the hospitality and friendliness of the hosts and the cosy, clean accomodation all contributed to a wonderful holiday away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
