Very Hard to find -- Messy construction site right next to the house (addition?) -- Inside of the house the dirtiest we've ever seen: dirty sticky floors, sticky table and chairs, socks and panties in cupboards, chewing-gum pasted to supposedly clean towels, hairs in bed, dirty bathrooms with stained shower curtains, owner's personal belongings and used kitchen and bathroom products in every closets and shelves, no amenities for the guests -- Air pump device for the sceptic tank right beneath the main bedroom running continuously will prevent any low-rumble sensitive person to sleep (asked the owner, was told I could turn it off at night, but manufacturer says can't be turned off more than couple hours, no switch anyway) -- Beware, the house is on wood pilings with too few cross-beams, so it sways when you move around inside, vertigo guaranteed -- Back trails littered with plastics and other garbage -- Grill outside has never been cleaned -- You will NOT feel welcome in this house!

Christmas with family
Shantell thank you for sharing your beautiful home. It was perfect for enjoying time with our family that lives close by. Collins is such a cute little town. The property was secluded and private yet only minutes from downtown. The cabin is tastefully decorated, very clean and provided everything that we needed. Being on the porch with the sounds of nature made it hard for us to leave. I highly recommend this home. You will definitely need to call to get directions. My GPS did not take us there. But the host is quick to answer.

Nice little getaway
This was the perfect location for a wedding we attended in Collins. Super close to town but still quiet and remote. I brought the fishing pole and we did a little hiking. Sitting by the stream next to a fire in the evening was lovely. It had everything we needed. Only comment is there is a loud-ish wiring/vibration sound from the meter that is located under the master bedroom. It was hard to fall asleep the first night. I would tell the housekeeper to improve the dusting as well. Lovely little place. Would definitely return.

An excellent place to stay!
Very well equipped and lacking nothing except ice cube trays. Owners did a fantastic job building this house/camp/cabin. It's more house than anything and is pristine and perfect. Great beds and total comfort. No wifi and only 2 bars on mobile devices if you're lucky. It's on the river and we were really hoping to sit on a gravel bar in our swimsuits and enjoy the water, but the only access is a ramp of sorts and it's not really a place for swimming or wading as the bank is very steep. But it's quiet and secluded and our dog could run and explore outside with no problem at all. Highly recommended!

Trip started on the wrong foot… GPS took us to a different location and we had a tough time finding the property. Maybe sending a “pin” in maps would allow visitors to find exact location easier. Once we were there, it was perfect! Cabin was very clean and stocked with necessities. No wifi, so be prepared! We could only get 1 of 3 TVs to work, but that didn’t stop our relaxing family vaca! Lots of walking in the woods and relaxing on the porch. We’d love to go again in the future!

Home and property were nice. Property is secluded but can hear highway/train noise. Property entrance is unnecessarily hard to find and would need a more visible marker (not sure emergency services could find if needed). Address didn't show up on several map sites. Home doesn't have wifi and TV's in bedrooms don't have satellite. River running through property is not easy to get to for kayaking and has lots of trees in it. Home is probably ten feet off the ground and there is only one door to home. Didn't see smoke alarms in kitchen/front of home. There wasn't charcoal for bbq pit. There were flies in the coffee pot water reservoir. Saw deer, squirrel, rabbits, and lots of birds during our stay.

The address has been updated with the E-911 addressing Department. No we do not have Wi-Fi. Yes we have satellite tv. As of last week we changed providers to Direct Tv with updated equipment and all Tv’s in bedrooms work, also added a tv outside. More smoke alarms have been added to the house. I will make sure to whoever is cleaning the property between stays will thoroughly clean the coffee pots. I apologize for any inconvenience during your stay. This is such a lovely gem. The view is outstanding and watching, listening to the river and wildlife around there was like heaven. Only downfall for me is I have a bad back and only 1 inside and 1 outside chair was comfortable. The couch and recliner inside not so much but I have trouble in most places and use a heating pad to get back on track. I would book this again. View, peacefulness, and location to anything I needed.

Was a very nice property and the location was great. The only issues we had were both bathtubs would not drain and through no fault of the property manager, the outside shower froze and was leaking. They can add another shutoff valve in the shower pipe and avoid that happening in the future. The only other issue we had was the description of how to find the cabin. "Look for a red and blue reflector". Well the reflectors were turned the wrong direction. We drove around until 10:30 pm. Fortunately, I was able to flag down the Sheriff's Dept. The Deputy(very nice officer) I talked to talked with his Sergeant and together they were able to figure it out. So my suggestion is give better directions. Once we were there, we had a great time!

Great Getaway!
This was a great place to get away. Plenty of room for my kids to roam around. The cabin itself is well-kept, very clean and comfortable. The water was low enough that we were able to get access across to the other side to enjoy the sandbar. The rocking chairs on the porch were perfect for sitting out an afternoon rain shower. Views of the water from the dining room and kitchen are amazing! My kids enjoyed seeing all the rabbits on the property during evening walks at dusk. We would love to stay here again!

What a little slice of paradise. I do not recommend trying to find this place at night—it is off the beaten path and the entrance is hard to find. I likely would not have had a problem during the day as the host gave great directions and landmarks to look for. As for the rental, it was spotless and loaded with all the amenities you need (except food). Bring the food you need and you don’t really need to leave the property. It is large, as described, on the bank of Okatoma Creek. The water was low so accessing the creek from the property is difficult (fyi in case that is a big draw for you). It was such a relaxing and comfortable stay that we have already discussed returning when it is cooler. Thanks to the hosts for great hospitality and responsiveness when needed.

Quiet family camp in the woods
We had a lovely experience at this fully stocked home, secluded in the woods. We were thrilled to find the floor fan stored downstairs for a perfect way to enjoy the deck overlooking spectacular views of a MS creek all day long. We were able to let the dogs play safely in the water by the entrance And we even got our feet wet. It was a wonderful weekend in a beautiful home that had all the amenities you would expect in a family camp! Thanks for having us, and we highly recommend this spot to others.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin. We spent an extended weekend hanging out on the porch and by the river. I took my kayak, and we floated across to a small sandbar. If the river is up, the sandbar will most likely be under water. I fished about a half mile up and down the river in my kayak catching some nice bass and bream. With the water level down, I had to navigate around many downed trees. The cabin and porch is extremely nice. My wife and I spent a lot of time on the porch watching many species of birds. I took our dog Milo on walks up the long driveway seeing rabbits, raccoons and birds. It was a relaxing weekend that we needed together.

Property is as described, located on 100 secluded acres next to a spring fed creek. Creek not easy to access due to steepness of banks, but did find a small beach next to good swimming spot, about 300 yard walk on trail from house. Would definitely stay again. Google Maps app has location wrong but phone call to host got us there easily.

Found property after multiple phone calls, no written directions, property was clean and well stocked, televisions were difficult to operate with no instructions but did get one operable, no hot water in one bathroom I have rented multiple vrbo properties. This one needs a book of check in and out instructions, media instructions and internet.
